i just got this radio not the le tho. When i turn to cal and turn the nob all the way to the end and i try to switch it to swr and it wont let me? any help?

I would love to see what this looks like on a scope. Peak reading meters really don't tell the story. A spectrum would be great too but seeing it on a scope gives me a better idea what's going on.

I am now a proud owner of a high performance Cobra 29 LX LE complete with the RFX-75 and receive upgrades! Thanks Doug for doing great job and James for packing it well. This is my strongest & loudest 29. Exceeds my 29 Army with mosfet upgrade by over a 1+ db. Killer swing & clear for sure. It has a lot of modulation. My customized microphone works perfect with this rig. Now I have a better chance of cutting through DX Land and crushing those mud ducks...shake break. Nice quality receive...BD777

Ugly radio. I'd love to have one just to blow up. I'll bet that the cost of replacing that indicator panel  WHEN (not if) it burns out is more than the cost of the radio. What is the cost of parts & labor for that? Please respond, anybody.

A real nice radio, shame it's not a Uniden, a real cobra, and why the hell is it only 40ch AM..

no use to the UK and a lot of EU countries..

at least AM/FM multistandard, and even better AM/SSB multiband (after mods)

if i could justify the money for it to sit in the box i'd buy one, but for a radio thats useless to me to use..not bother..

it is nice though.

I am NOT insulting you, this is just general information, Only an idiot would think that all licensed hams do everything by the book. From what I have read from confessing hams on eham & etc & heard MYSELF from sources like youtube & etc, I know there are just as many licensed law breakers as there are unlicensed. ie; outbanding, over power, yelling profanities, etc. sounds like cb.

Excellent video review Doug! The RFX-75 is very effective. Your "Stealth" versions in the past are top notch and I bet this version would be 'The Best"! The radio is black and with modern display it is just like the Stealth Fighter!
