  • Lol @ people who complain about what music is better.

  • Thts original , awesome song ,! i can say is amazing!♥

  • I absolutely agree the new American age in Music is BORING! It lacks artistry and forget talent. Most of European music is well music to my ears. I don't even watch any of the music awards. I hope that Royskopp one day becomes a household name. I wish more European bands would be able to have more air play time on the radio in this country.

  • Sorry TV is Broken

  • why is this song so awesome!!???

  • @axelXriku13 It Isnt

  • @rangoon03 BOOO

  • @axelXriku13 it's the panting girl, i swear. girl? really low-sounding hi-hat? i don't know. i'll just assume it's the girl in the background panting.

  • @zherui hahahah ummmmmmmmm

  • 2uMRAsh be honest.

A lot of bands out of NY Seattle and LA sound like the same 'original' generic crap.

  • @tetris11boy reminds me of the many adidas t-shirts that say "be original"

  • nice!

  • AMAZING!!! i love them!

  • America has a lot of good bands, you can hear them on podcasts, and I'd point to recent bands like MGMT who are innotive and original. The reason big American artists are allowed to traffic their pap over here is that people are impressed by the hype and buy the shit, go the concerts etc But you know good news: You don't HAVE to listen to what you don't like. The inquisition ended hundreds of years ago folks and you wont be burned at the stake for not listening to "official" chart music B FREE!

  • for more good electronic music you can check my page and have a listen if toy feel like it,have a good day : )

  • They are from my dear beloved country norway. Its awesome, all their songs are so mindbendingly lovingly cool, minddope with blizz.

  • Agreed, but i use mine for funny videos like fail blog so i can watch them on my iPod and have a loud laugh alone in the bus :D

  • Indeed.

  • @neotees why?

  • @klarc The highest bitrate YT can provide is between 100 and 256kbps, a far cry from the full 320. Not to mention most YT downloaders take the lowest quality version which is normally 96kbps when they rip.

  • @klarc YT can't provide 320kbps quality.

  • @neotees best way :D

  • Real player works wonders aswell, downloads the same quality and has its own converter.. and its just a click on the video and ur downloading it (:

  • Röyksopp IS AWESOME

    IN CANADA

  • Corporate america can suck my dick and suck everyone elses dick because they contrpl the music here and all they play is that teeny bop shit and crappy r n b and 50 cents and jay z. Where the fuck is my house music???

  • lucky for you there is you tube i find all of my house music right here through a converter for you tube

  • What do you mean converter? You know how to save and burn music off of here?

Does anyone know about real time players cause I dont.

  • Yes go to google and do a search for

  • Röyksopp er utrolige! You ROCK!!

I've been listening to your music here in Canada for a while now and you keep kicking out amazing tunes!

  • I kno, same thing happening in Poland. I like watchin VIVA.

  • Music Television in europe seams to play a larger spectrum of music than in America. It seems like American Music television is controlled by corporate douches that play only the music that will make money.

  • yeah some thrut, but the thing is, we in sweden(cant talk from europe) we are getting piss show on like mtv an shit, like the hills? wtf!? its called MTV stands for Music television. not (fake) realyity chanell. sorry i cant spell for shit! and my gramma sux. sorry. hope you get my point.

  • @choronos

ew, hard electro. the rest of the world got over that in 2007 but i guess its only coming to america now :/

  • I love the bassline, I bet this song would be perfect for...<3 ;-)

  • i like that bassline, reminds me of miami bass tunes.

  • lekkkk I agreed with your point of view, Im an american I but I listen to european, english, swedish, norwegian, basically anything non american music and movies who are out of the box and into creativity

  • * * * * *

  • very nice

  • Hmm I must say its pretty nice song. :) I must chek others

  • guy in back have a big penis for a nose?

  • the knife

  • Nice! 5/5

  • more than great thx..........5*

  • It is great, I can't stop listening

  • Personally, as an American, I think we are really stuck on ourselves. I mean, Royksopp collaborated with Karin Dreijer from The Knife-- that's Norway and Sweden.

I can't think of any instances of such foreign collaboration in American music. Not to mention, when people hear that I listen to quite about of Scandinavian music, they reply with, "You should be supporting American artists."

    What the Hell?

  • I agree with you there.

For some reason, the stuff coming out of Europe sounds a hell of a lot better than shit the Americans call pop music . . . and this is coming from an American.

  • America needs more of sensible people like you.

  • lol, eu ftw oh and canada as well

  • why should you support american artists when there is/are so little of quality? Let's force american artists to be innovative, talented and have integrity. Not boy-band crap, britney spears sewage, mass-media money machine puppets. I think I lost it for american music when Ricky Martin got huge.

Stick to your guns, contra, and teach yer amigos about good music.

  • There are a few good American artists... not many, but they're there. Sadly, I can't think of many right now besides Garth Brooks, and he's been out of the picture for ages :(

  • There may be few talented American musicians compared to the the total population in USA, but there is still many great American artists. And that's coming from a Norwegian.

  • Did you ever stop to think that the reason why some music gets popular is because people actually like it?

Admittedly, I have no idea why they like it, but they do. If you 'force' innovation, then you give the music industry no room to grow, improve, or have its mistakes.

Bottom line is...no one is forcing you to listen to it, so just turn the radio off and go back to what you like to listen to. I already have.

  • name 10 current ones.

  • @lekkki1 I have to completely agree with you, honestly. For the most part that is. MAINSTREAM american artists DO lack imagination and guinuality. Completely. However, most of the underground artists from america aren't that bad. I'm not talking about just stuff that comes that comes on the radio being mainstream.

  • @tabbyd1

You know what, you are right. Since having posted this comment, I have been shown the light by many, many people, many who made excellent suggestions, some who did not. We need to take back the american music scene, but I do not know how to fight corporate sewage spewing marketing tactics.

  • @trippintonk exactly. the good artists are out there, its not their fault. the industry is just REAL messed up these days.. and i agree, how could you fight these multiBILLION dollar companies that feed the masses the same instantgratification style of music to the masses who dont know any better and dont question it? brainwashing on an epic scale....scary

  • @lekkki1

    jdilla.

    mos def

    blackthought ( the roots)

    fugees

    all good music.

  • @lekkki1 your right American music is all about the money so because of that it sucks....hands down hardly any (real) Techno just imitations, and they completely eradicate the POP music from over use. Wheres the good ol Instrumental music they hardly have any most of it comes from other countries. America Sucks!!!!

  • @lekkki1

    *American mainstream

  • @lekkki1 Love you! American Music does lack not only intelligence; but soul and intonation. Having a beat and some shallow lyrics that reflect on a teenage girl's problems does not in fact make quality music! It makes money.

  • @lekkki1 it's just the nature of the machine. lets just keep sharing illegally and publishing our own music online for people to have for free. songs you hear on the radio are not songs. they are adds.

  • @lekkki1 dont say that. there are a ton of good american artists. if you cant like j dilla, dimlite, mf doom, mos def, flying lotus, cyne, etc. youre just being stubborn.

  • @lekkki1 I agree about 10% because only 10% of the music out of America is boy-band pop. Rest is country (which I do hate but it comes from Ireland if you read up on your history), a lot is metal, and then there's a ton of rap (which I do dislike as well but not as much as country). The people that say that America has terrible music need to remember that most bands come to the USA to get big.

  • @lekkki1 there are a lot of artists here doing just that, just got to stay off the bullshit radio stations and dig

  • @lekkki1 for the most part you're right... but there are some exceptions... I mean what about Simon and Garfunkel!

  • @CookieMonstahGirl

excellent pick, utterly amazing musicians, Simon and Garfunkel. Why do we have to look so hard for talented american musicians, or go so far back in time?

    Keep your ears peeled

  • @lekkki1 There only a few good newer American bands, but they can just never compare to European bands..

  • @CookieMonstahGirl Simon and Garfunkel; that's a laugh, how about electric light orchestra, U2, or roison murphy. When did those two constitute good music?

  • @SlamTheLabel Uhm, U2 is pretty much just amazing. so is Simon and Garfunkel. never listened to the other 2.

  • @lekkki1 I agree with you to some degree, but you're only looking at mainstream and commercial American artists.

How about Beirut? Grizzly Bear? Cocorosie? There's SO much great music out there and - though you raise a good point - it's a little but insulting to say that Americans can't produce quality music. America is a big country.

  • @JAPANaBANANA

Dig a little bit deeper in the comments, I amended my statement slightly, and yeah, you are right. It's just heartbreaking the the US, which was once the fount from which so much excellence flowed, has become such a parched landscape for good music. Yes, Oases exist. Happy New Year to you

  • @lekkki1 great music comes from america it just never becomes mainstream

  • @lekkki1 Because Ricky Martin is from America right? So misled. Educate yourself before commenting.

  • @lekkki1 good call. but there is one hip hop group thats very rare in my opinion. Blue Scholars. very talented adn under-rated please go check them out. i suggest motion movement, one of there best.

  • @lekkki1 also whos ricky martin yes im american....

  • Que no son de Islandia? (Iceland)

WTF, them are from iceland men!!!!

100% agree with bjorbak, only the same americans think that they are the smartest and the biggest "people" in the world, what a mass of ignorant.

  • Good bass:D

  • --- Just love them ---- !!!! ---

  • I KNOW! THEY PWN ASSES!! <33333333333

  • Norway! Norway!!!! They are from Norway!!!!!

  • lol i dont know how many times people have said they were from Sweden when in fact they are from Norway

  • One of the biggest insults you can do to Norway, is to call one of their biggest artists swedish!

  • so perhaps being all so far north to all of us geographopolitcal stupid americans it makes no difference. the one norwegian girl i met was also very arrogant.. just saying. so are people from england. may as well be from denmark.

  • Do you honestly excpect that people around in the world should think of americans as the smartest and best country in the world? Where have you been the last 8 years? Or the last 400 as well? America is a "proud" nation built on slavery, racism and corruption, but still most americans(in the middle class and up) belive they're the best country and people in the WHOLE FREAKIN' WORLD!! Do you really think it is the rest who is arrogant??

  • well. since america hasn't existed for 400 years, i should expect i was somewhere else. maybe england, who we are now emulating in full force. wake up.

  • I like how you blame 500 million people for the actions of a sweet man who is simply not that good at his job. Of course, seeing your idea of American history i should not expect anything less ignorant

  • I'ts not because of the president I think of america in the way i do. It's just the stupidity of voting him for president again, even after what he did. Personally I think america as the bible: filled with great ideas, which have failed terribly because of corruption and too much power. And the whole idea of beeing best on the top of it, is what making me partly despite america. I don't say that America is hell on earth, i only want to make people think of that there are dark sides too.

  • Kind of a weak analogy, but overall I agree with you.. ; )

  • just a thought - perhaps you shouldn't judge an entire country based on one girl you met. how would you like it if we didn't separate between canada and the states?

  • you are welcome to your thoughts and opinions just as i am mine. that was the past, and since i have met more people from same said country, who all seem to share a slight bit of a superior air. its fine, its not as if england doesnt have it as well. and the states.

  • rather well actually.

  • haha. ;p

honestly, im part swedish and don't really care

  • We're all arrogant and think other people are arrogant. So let's all just continue on with our arrogant way.

  • zajebiste jak ja pierdole :D

  • sounds like polished 'analord'

  • Sound quality is a little off on this :P

I wish they made a video for the song...

  • yea i agree, this song definatly deserves a video. I might even go out my way and create my own homemade video just to put on youtube for ppl to watch lol

  • pure lounge

  • this music makes me horny!!!

  • ZAJEBISTE

  • top tune

  • Trippy fucking song.

  • It's the meaning

    røyksopp = smokeshoorms

  • That is; mushrooms that give out smoke when you step on them; Not mushrooms you smoke like you'd smoke a cigarette

  • Zomg haxzor song :X ! ! ! love it

  • The girl on the cover is kinda chick

    Nice song

  • anke questa dà dipendenza!

  • we need röyksopp to live longer!!!!

  • So deep ... one of my favorites

    Röyksopp rocks

  • i love that girl on the album cover

  • nope, röyksopp is two dudes

  • Thought it was two dudes and a girl who sings in some of their songs..?

  • well the girl is from the swedish band "the knife" her name is Karin... she`s just a "special guest" on this album.

  • The Knife IS DA BEST

  • Jupp, they rule. But I think I like Röyksopp a little bit more. Not very patriotic of me cuz I`m from Sweden haha

  • no they are from Bergen, Norway.

  • Their from Tromsø. Happy UP here.

  • check the facts noob

  • I'm looking for Royskopps's particular music vid Arctic Chill, if u got it please post it here! would be really cool! thanks!

  • I think you're referring to the song 'Your Hands' which is on a compilation called "Arctic Circles 3". It's on YouTube.

  • Tight! Like my ........ never mind

  • they are one super funky duo

  • I love this music as much as I can

  • MAN, this stuff is TIGHT!

I thought Royksopp was only the kinda music that is in the video where the surprisingly albino girl floats on empty country roads with gloomy storm rushing on flat meadows in the background. This song proves me I was wrong and never should be prujudiced.

This is a simple song that differs just enough to keep you interested.

    SMOOOOTH...

  • rocks definitely

  • What?? Why isn't this song in my copy of The Understanding??? :(!!!

  • i just discover them new for myself. How was i living without them for such a long time. incredible

  • OOOOHHHHHH!!!!!!! one of the best!!!!

  • nice sex tune ;)

  • ha! you can say that again man!

  • And again! ha!

  • where is your sense of humor xD AAAAHHHjjj .. ??

  • Arturo, now that's a philosophical question. Instead of asking "Where is your sense of humor?" we should ask "Where does ANYTHING exist, if anything exists at all...?"

On the other hand, Arturo, I could ask you THE SAME QUESTION.

  • bro! .. relax :/

  • How did you know I was listening to Frankie Goes To Hollywood?

Are you the lost twin brother I have - the SECRET the company never talks about?
