i dont know how he tuned it but the studio version of sweet child o mine is tuned one step down. I think he did it aswell since it sounds pretty similar. tabs can be found all over the internet.

You couldn't play the solo very well, especially the fast part, it was awfully played xD and the intro looked noob, cuz you played it like a barre, it's not a good style to play solos/ riffs. But still pretty nice cover worth of 4 stars, maybe 4,5, but here on youtube you cant rate 4,5 so I have to rate 4 : D XD peace

If you're playing on distortion and can't switch to clean, try turning the volume down almost all the way. YOu'll still have the same amount of volume, but less gain. and then when you do crank it up for leads it'll scream.

I think this video has the best sound among the homemade guitarplayers' videos! Just take more attention on your guitar's sound. If you're record in stereo, and you're using good quality, the mistakes, and your guitar's "cheap" sound will take negative effect during the vid. Anyway, you have all the skills to play this song, just buy better equipments to play! Btw I'm really interested about your next vids:) Keep on doing the good work!

Thanks man, but I think the "cheap sound" you're talking about is from the "amp" not the guitar. You see, that guitar costs like 1000 euros and I think that it has pretty good sound actually, but to be honest; How can a Stratocaster based light body guitar sound like Slash's Les Paul?

Used any chorus on your pod? or flanger??? U dont get slashs sound with those things.... all u need is: The amp simultion of a jcm 800 Reverb EQ Comp. Delay And your cry wah And maybe a noise gate , or volume pedal But the best thing is buyin some pedals.... And my compliments for your performance! Cheers

PS: The settings you need are: on the simulation of the jcm: 4.5 low - 7 mid - 8 high Drive 8 - persence 8 - volume 10 the verb settings are simple to find just put some low reverbs in your sound The eq Is like an upsidedown smile , The compr. is not hard to find the settings too just do that yourself. The delay is just a low analog delay and the noise gate settings are simple to find too thats all

I recorded it to computer and filmed it at the same time, but as I said I also doubled the lead guitars, so the guitars you hear in the video are the one that I played while the camera was running and the one I played afterwards. If you watch it in High Quality you can hear it in stereo, one guitar in the left speaker and one in the right.
