This is a well-produced show, with an attractive, likeable cast and sharp directing. The problem is that it perpetuates the politically-correct fiction that urban gun crime in Canada is largely perpetuated by middle-aged white people with registered firearms. Jane & Finch's Jamaican crime is taboo.

Actual gangs in Canada don't appear to have such PC qualms. We've got the Fresh Off the Boat and FOB-Killers in Calgary, The UN Gang in BC and the Indian Posse everywhere. Why is this un-PC for TV?
