the best way to improve the n97 is to surround it with landfill. it is the cackest phone i've ever experienced, and i've experienced a lot. i'll never buy nokia again, and i've been loyal to them for 10 years.
i havent had the problems you've listed but omfg i've had (and am having) so many others.... it's a piece of crap!
