I never really thought of this as amplifying your movements before. I can get it to swing in whatever direction from a stand still with no visible movement from my arm probably because I draw and play guitar alot which requires fine motors skills. I think this kind of shows that most spirituality springs from our subconscious/collective unconscious.

@LemonsThatArePurple And I tested this by asking myself easy questions with a pendulum and then just saying the words yes and no and I got the pendulum to move correspondingly.

Before you start, ask show me yes and it will show you the movement for yes. Do the same for a no. The movement for a yes or a no is not the same for everyone.

My pendulum doesn't swing in circles. It goes back and forth for no, and side to side for yes.

2nd try ever and I checked my rooms for water and spiritual energy (proberly my own, though) and electrical energy. I found an old measure stick and was holding it in feather light balance with 28-30 cm sticking out - I had some strong swings at certain points and could repeat it. My first try was in nature with some tree pieces that didn't work. A tip is to "tune in" or focus on the thing you look for, as theres some wavelength tuning involved.

I find that shorter pendulums swing faster than longer ones. I always ask for it to swing faster for a more solid answer.

I've always been taught to keep the pendulum completely still, and NEVER hold the pendulum with your thumb. your thumb has a pulse, and it will affect your pendulum...

Hi. There are plenty of different schools of thoughts on dowsing . I was taught this way and it works fine for me but I would encourage people to experiment and trust their instincts.

You can often get better results by using heavier pendulums. It is very much a personal thing. I get clearer results using brass or heavy crystal but many people use lighter wooden pendulums. Experiment, is all I can say.

Can you say more on reverse polarity.

I always have the polarity changed after the first question.(even though I calibrate yes and no)

I do not move ,not even my eyes.

Someone told me that every 17 minutes there is a change in polarity due to the change in breath - in the nostril.

I am a professional dowser except for the reversal trouble.

Hi Reuben. You are outside my experience zone with this one. I often am reversed when I feel out of sorts but it certainly doesn't change every 17minutes and I have never heard of this (I am a member of the local dowsing society so I mix with dowsers every month). If you ask the pendulum show me yes in a circular motion and it goes for example anti-clockwise then that will always mean yes.

Especially if you request the pendulum to always use that for yes.

You are welcome. Keep practicing! I find I am better at dowsing some things than others. Remember to ask the question whether you have access to the information. There is also a bit of a trick in getting into the zone where you are completely dispassionate about the answer. This is because wishful thinking can overwhelm the dowsing skill! Best of luck!

Thank you for the helpful video! I've tried to come up with different exercises for using the pendulum, such as putting a few cards face down and asking the pendulum to point to a specific one. My friend is very good at finding lost items with hers, though I haven't really been able to do so yet. I hope to master it with practice!
