I am just picking my copies at Target. I love how they mention that these decks are soo hot that Starcity raised the price. I agree with other posters though. I really enjoyed what Evan has done in the past... but 1 more video like this and I am going to unsubscribe.

Magic retailers who charge over the MSRP are idiots. These will be readily available in chain stores across the country. If they really want, they can attempt to overcharge, but these aren't going to be under-printed like FtV:X was. By overcharging, they'll only send people out of their store and to the local walmart. While it could make you a quick few bucks, it doesn't help the longterm health of their store/online store.

The comments were dull and obvious or downright stupid (pandemonium), doesn't even touch 2% of the new cards in the EDH set that's coming out, and after yet another long wait for a real video we get a short piece of crap.

Fails to meet expectations. Next video like this and I'm dropping my subscription. TMS doesn't even touch the channelfireball videos anymore.

To be quite honest, I really hope these cards aren't exclusive to these Commander boxes, ESPECIALLY if these cards end up being staples in EDH/Commander. If the prices for these boxes get jacked up immediately, then it could easily become another format with the motto: "If you don't have money, you won't be able to make a competitive deck." For the sake of the players, the format, and for WoTC, I hope it doesn't come to that.

@wittw these cards WILL be exclusive to these decks, because its a multiplayer format. Since these wont be legal in T2, wizards doesn't have to regulate it at all. Honestly, most edh decks will be worth at least $100 anyways, but most of that will be dollar rares. If you play EDH to be competetive, you are missing the point. I have loads of fun with my borborygmos deck, but it rarely wins (i mainly just troll everyone at the table).

@sakonhagakure I agree that one shouldn't have to pay above msrp, but the same can be said about From the Vault: Pick One. MSRP is $34.99, the same as a pre-MBS Fat Pack. You'd be lucky to find any of them for under $100, even when they were brand new on the shelves of brick-and-mortar stores. Being a cube owner, I don't really want to have to shell out a ridiculous amount of money for solid limited cards simply because there's no other way to get them.
