  • Who cares? I'm posting this comment from Android on my HD2 via Rom...not SD Card.

  • dont worry getting android

  • I think it would be better if we get a "perfect" android build then an other Buggy windows. There is very little stuff for WM 6.5. I feel bad for that as they might have gotten a good OS with a lot of stuff for the entire year the HD2 has been out, but It seems like they've abandoned it, so I'm happy we are getting better and better Android builds for our beloved HD2s.

  • iphone and this winphone 7 are shit!android xever

  • HD2 is not officialy getting WP7! Port in on it´s way. If I run Adroid, WP7 will be a cake with HD7 coming now.

  • shittey! :) OS=OpenSource, like the moneysystem should have been shut down loong ago.. 4 every ones wealth.. but fuck that, im doin FINE! :D

  • just get a samsung vibrant. That will take care of this crappy phone

  • And how much is it??

  • I actually could. HTC said not to rule it out even though MSFT ruled it out.

  • This SUCKS FAT COCK.

Microsoft is gay, i wish android was on this phone instead of shitty ass windows mobile even know you can put android on here i wish you can take windows mobile off still.

  • i don't know why people are saying such bad things about windows 6.5 and this phone... i got this phone yesterday, and its absolutely kick ass!! its smooth, its fast, and its great for business users. its not a toy phone, but its great for data transfer, and FANTASTIC for being a modem for my laptop when im out of of office. just click one button and it turns into a FAST wifi router..

  • listen loser, if you look at other videos htc hd2 already has windows 7 dumb ass

  • According to the company representatives, an upgrade to Windows Mobile 7 will not be available for any of the existing smartphones, except of HD2.

HTC HD2 has a large capacitive screen and a powerful 1-GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. This corresponds to the specifications, which, as they say, Microsoft has prepared for WM7. The operating system is optimized under the multi-touch remote control and the capacitive screen will strictly be required for the devices.

  • @wsimpson272009 if thats the case then wats this guy talkin abt??

  • @lonelykatana I am not saying iPhones had these features before Nokias, in fact I had an nseries. I am just saying that HTC is way behind the competition with features like these. I wasnt saying iPhones are better than everything

  • Wow cool everything I was already able to do on my iPhone for years!

Flagged for misleading text, it has nothing to do with windows phone 7.

  • Flagged for Misleading Text ^_^

  • @SandburgSpartans dont' flag it, I will change the text.

  • @abcyesn That's a GOOD thing...

  • @abcyesn Same title still, huh.

  • @ninian1234 no, i said, it's not getting windows phone 7.

  • @abcyesn This video has nothing to do with that at all.

  • really? Ive been reading on several sites that they will be releasing windows mobile 7 for the htc hd2 in 2010 q4 @abcyesn

  • Everyone stfu, even though it won't be OFFICIALLY WP7 phone, XDA will save us all.

  • "Fast And Smooth" Sure.... its laggy.

  • @heooooooooooo how do you know?

  • I really hope this is true..

  • This is a pretty fucked up and misleading title for this video. Instead of showing a ad for the HD2, how about quit talking out your ass and post some proof to what you are stating?? Ya....I thought so.

  • HTC HD2 isnt legally getting the WP7 OS, and its for more reasons than the 5 buttons. Why dont you fuck tards look up the HTC HD3 and then just hope for that.

  • But it is coming out to the htc hd2. google wm7 on htc hd2

  • Why would people want wm7 for the HD2? The HD2 has a great support at xda-devs and the UI for wm7 sucks so much ass. HTC Sense on the HD2 is so much smoother and better looking than the UI on wm7

  • HTC HD2 is not getting WP7 HTC HD2 is not getting WP7 HTC HD2 is not getting WP7 HTC HD2 is not getting WP7 HTC HD2 is not getting WP7 HTC HD2 is not getting WP7 HTC HD2 is not getting WP7 HTC HD2 is not getting WP7 HTC HD2 is not getting WP7 HTC HD2 is not getting WP7 HTC HD2 is not getting WP7
  • HTC HD2 is not getting WP7, dont give people false hope. HTC HD2 doesnt meat the minimum requirements set by microsoft.. Why dont you check the WindowsMobile forums and do some research before making a video.

  • @maxbradshaw Lol what kind of bullshit are you saying?? Htc hd2 meets the highset reqiuerments, the only reason no Wp7 on hd2 is because of the 5 standard buttons instead of 3.... thats it. thats the reason, and thats why XDA has almost fully ported Wp7 to htc hd2

  • @maxbradshaw i would of believed you, but you spelled meet wrong.

  • XDA-developers already hacked the WP7 and it will be compatibale on HTC HD2.. so don't be worry guys.. XDA

  • i really don't understand why should the HD2 with multitouch capacitive screen and 1 GHz processor stuck with the crappy :-@ wm 6 or even 6.5 phones with the old RESSESTIVE screens ,, and slow processing ..

microsoft need to really think about that ...

  • @megahaiko It isn't Microsoft's choice as to what goes on a different company's phones.

  • @megahaiko MIcrosoft doesn't make HTC devices

  • @megahaiko but windows phone 7 looks great. It's my second favourite OS after the android.

  • @megahaiko people are working on a windows 7 rom for it right now

  • @megahaiko Don't worry. The fan developers are working more and more on android! There is acctually a new post on XDA developers that states that you can install android on your device now, ninstead of the storage card. Cool, ey? :D

  • i really don't understand why should the HD2 with multitouch capacitive screen and 1 GHz processor stuck with the crappy :-@ wm 6 or even 6.5 phones with the old RESSESTIVE screens ,, and slow processing ..

microsoft need to really think about that ...

  • why should all HD2 users stuck in the wm 6.5 which thanks to the HTC SENSE can provide multitouch ... it must have areal one ..

this huge screen and super fast processor and ram ,,, why not ??

idont think they will make a phone with more features than the HD2 for wm 7

it's a high end device ,,," except for the sprint HTC EVO which run android ??

no wm7 for HD2 .. is just what any one bought HD2 never ever imagined ..

    please do it

  • @megahaiko Its because it had 5 buttons and not the 3 windows requierment buttons lmao... But XDA developers are working on porting W7 AND android to Htc hd2 as we speak!! :) i hope they will get android on hd2 dont care for w7 too much but hey Xda is great

  • i really hope that .. it will be awesome ,, to get this HD2 out of the not suitable circle ,,,,

1- it's the first and the also the LAST windows mobile 6.5 multitouch phone ,,,,

2- it's the first and the LAST wm6.5 phone to have capacitive screen ..

... so i will not be able to understand why they will not make it upgradable to the wm7 that is completely for this phone " for a silly functionality of abutton :-@ come on ...it's Shame "

  • NO WM7 on HD2 means Bye bye to HD2

  • @pacuroban why the hell are you saying that

  • @pacuroban why bye bye explain me for the hd2

  • LIES!! ALL LIES!!!

I hate you Microsoft! Years of loyalty to WM down the drain because of 1 lousy button.

  • two buttons..

  • It depends on how you look at it but I think the main reason is the lack of a Search button. The HD2 has a Start button instead. It still has the 'all important' Home and Back buttons so I'm sure the geniuses at MS can release an update to map the Start button to a Search function.

  • hah i was jk. some people already hacked it to run w7 on the htc hd2 already. funny how windows and a team of engineers and developers cant upgrade it but people can root it to run it.

  • @sabomnim628

True. Windows mobile 7 on HTC devices and possibly on other devices will just improve the functionality ( in terms of memory processing, application interlinking, data packets optimization, resource management & expandibility ) to my knowledge. HTC will continue to override windows mobile UI with its Sense UI , which i believe is far better than windows mobile UI (even the WM7 UI). The only improvement to HTC specially running WM7 would be better multi-touch and precision problems

  • no that is the sense ui they are showing as it stands so far the HD2 will not be getting WP7. Actually Sense looks better

  • I also read in an article that the HTC HD2 won't be receiving windows mobile 7. It's such a shame because Microsoft promised us, and now they have let us down.
