And my best friend has never seen it, so as soon as my DVD gets here, I'm forcing her to watch it with me. :) Then she'll get some of my references, and why I want to sing "I stand alone" for my senior solo in 2 years. ^.^ Yay spreading the joy of Devon, Cornwall and Garrett.

  • i love the fact they try to separate each other its so funny and its funny how one is british but the other one isnt =>

  • I always loved this because of the elvis part and the fact that i was named after him.. Im a girl and my name is Presley.....

  • Thank you very much. Devon just left the building. You've never sung before, have you, man?

    Punch

  • I came here for the broadway references. Phantom in particular.

  • I know the Nostalgia Critic gave this film a bad review, but screw it. This movie is great fun. I watched it for the first time as an adult in my 20's and still enjoyed it. Guilty pleasure, I guess.

  • i wish i didn't have my brother. i thought it was cute

  • Oh hey, this like that one thing that Robin Williams did in "Aladdin", with the comedic references to modern-day elements that won't exist for hundreds of years, except when he did it, it was mildly annoying, but when YOU do it, it's torturously annoying...

  • You Don't Know How Funny that Made Me Laugh Ich liebe Dich Random Stranger xD^

  • @hollystorm5 Are you thinking about Hetalia now? Because this came out first, in 1998. And it is quite common with relationships like that. o_O

  • Oh dear, its learned to count.....

  • When my sister and I were a little younger, we wrote out the words to this and sang it in front of our parents (she was Cornwall, and I was Devon). We had them in fits of laughter for about 5 minutes :D good times

  • "I didn't come here to be insulted!"

"Oh? Then where do you usually go?" Lol, ouch.

  • I was watching this with my stepsister (who is only a year younger than me) and she told me she'd never watched this movie as a child and she didn't understand a single one of the references in this song. I weep for the deprived children of the world :'(

  • Does anyone else see the similarities between this and the monsters inc song near the end? Just a thought, but I think that monsters inc took the basis of this song.

  • @BubblePug

I don't really think that the Monsters Inc Song is similar actually; the title is the same but the meanings of the two songs are very different. Devon and Cornwall are singing about how much better their life would be if they didn't have each other, but Mike and Sully were singing about how they wouldn't have a life if they didn't have each other. I LOVE this song, and I never even saw this movie D: I should probably rent it sometime. This, and the Hunchback of Notre Dame

  • does anyone else think its odd that one head has an accent while the other one doesn't? hahahaha

  • @MrMikemikemike101

Well, technically they just have different accents, (which is still pretty funny.) X3

  • "Oh dear, it's learned to count..." Is my FAVORITE part!

  • lol Eric Idle is the best XD

  • Why would you be swinging with the rhinos? They're mammals dude.

  • 2:20

Who were they trying to be?

  • @Kortlandt at 2:20 think they are just a stained glass window. at 2:22 they are trying to be Sonny and Cher

  • I can't be so sure that this part isn't why my mother first taught me about Elvis. XD

I also remember thinking she said, "Stop bickering and get your ass together."

  • "Uh, You never sang before, have ya?" God, I Love that Elvis impression..

  • THE OGRE"S BUTT!!!!!

  • OH MY GOSH I love this movie, i've loved it since I was like 3 :P

  • I actually remember when this first came out. I loved this song as a kid.

  • Perfect I shall do this to the next person who pisses me off. 1:19

Person: Stuck with you.... (Insert time)

Me: Oh dear it's learned to count.....

*Cue 2 fingered poke to the eyes*

    HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOL i always loved cornwall's face at 1:03

  • 1:25 "Now listen here pal, I didn't come here to be insulted!" "Oh, well where do you usually go?" I love that part!

  • "Oh wait you'd be DEAD" his face when he says that is AMAZING XD

  • Oh dear, it's learned to count xD

  • Oh Childhood.

  • This song has no purpose the images are crazy. This is troture, this is madness

    THIS.... IS... CAMELOT!!!!!

  • and Disney is suing in T minus 3, 2, 1, 0.14

  • I'm fifteen and my sister's twenty one and we still hella love this song! We used to sing along to it to eachother when our punk asses were little!

  • why is everybody hatin' on this movie? its a GREAT movie

  • Eric Idle and Don Rickles in a movie TOGETHER AT LAST

  • when i was a kid i used to think it was "... I would love this world without you idiot!!.. "

  • It's like Aladdin where the Genie made comedic pop culture references even though they won't exist for centuries. Except there it was slightly annoying and very entertaining and here it is very annoying and only slightly annoying

  • @zombiefan011 'Here it is very annoying and only slightly annoying,' Mistake or are you serious, LOL?

  • @DexusSuxed i meant to say very annoying and only slightly ENTERTAINING

  • @zombiefan011 I would've taken it either way. Though I love this movie.

  • dude there butts r so hug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Best comical pair. Ever. No exceptions.

  • a huge emphasis on the buttocks...

  • you just have to love these guys. this song reminds me of how i sometimes feel about my twin sister. but in the end the world is better with her in it. :)

  • best characters of this movie so funny you just gotta love em

  • XD Devon and Cornwall XD like this if u get that joke :P

  • This song would SOOOO fit ZIM and TAK. SO GO MAKE IT SOMEONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 0:50

  • "Oh dear it's learned to count!" lol I've used that line on my sister SO MANY TIMES!

Well, not lately, but you know. I am the only one who truly sees these movies for what they are; truly magical, life changing films! We bonded over them, and now they insult me and make fun of me for liking them at my age. Plus, since both my sisters are CONSTANTLY fighting, I can TOTALLY see them singing this together!

  • I used to watch this all the time when i was younger, and even now I still love it. I showed this to my sister and we always sing along to this part :D

  • I'm 19, and I still love this song!! haha.... never grows old ^_^

  • before i knew this movie existed, me and my brother argued a lot. i grew up in britianso i have a british accent and my brother has an american accent. one day one of my friends heard us and said we sounded like devon and cornwall and i was like wth? then i found out what he meant. the interesting thing is i am the taller, thinner one of me and my bro.

  • yep, this is me and my sister right here.

  • A Wile E Cyote referewnces at 1:38. Well this is a Warner Brother's movie (trying to be a Disney movie as Nostalgia Critic).

  • The ultimate sibling song.

  • 0:17 lion king XD

  • me and my cuz soooo true

  • I got you babe~

    lol

  • Love the way the animation and there facial expressions skips ahead at 1:06.

  • Me and my twin are the same way

  • best freakin part of the movie

  • oh dear its learnt to count! haha

  • This is song is so funny!

  • lol did yall ever notice the smiley face on the elvis's pants?

  • I can imagine Len and Rin Kagamine singing this.

  • Best part of the whole thing...ELVIS PRESLEY DRAGON!!!! :D god I love those dragons xD

  • LOVE THIS SONG!

Now that I watch it again...it's a lot like the relationship between myself and my brother--except we're not attatched! XD

  • 2:45 FALCON PUNCH!!!

  • xDDDDD still the FUNNIEST damn dragons ANYWHERE in the whole wide world.

  • I'm not going to say I hate this song (I definitely find it catchy), but it is so totally out of place in the movie. It's virtually the only place with all these pop-culture references.

  • xD my fav characters in the whole movie!! hahah they r so funny

  • I love Devin, for some reason... :D

1:05 lol its just like 'moving on'

1:20 "Oh, dear...its learned to count!" XD HA

1:53 i just love the way he looks when he sings this part. its funny! :)

    2:23 LOL is that Cher?

  • Remind me, what's the point of this song?

  • Stuck here with you for 500 years. "Oh dear it's learned to count." and "Look her pal I didnt come here to be insulted!" Oh? Then where do you usually go?" are my fav lines!

  • "You'd be nothing without me!

You'd be extinct! You'd cease to be!"

    My fav line!

  • Oh wait you'd be dead! Great line

  • Has anyone noticed that on their Elvis costume they have a smiley face? Smiley butt! :)
