I was so close to beating Red. For me, his last pokemon was snorlax. My Machamp had done at least done 5 Cross Chops. It's HP was down to red. So was Machamps. So then Red uses a Full Restore. Then Snorlax uses blizzard.
@RedxAngelx Ash is associated with the games, since Pokemon Yellow was basically like the anime. Jessie and James are in it and you start with Pikachu, getting the three original starters along the way. It was released after the anime became popular, and you do seem to be Ash.

By some twisted magic, Ash was able to catch his in the wild or something, Red was gifted his.
In the anime, Gary started with a Squirtle. Green however, starts with an Eevee which has become his signature pokémon. Eevee was Gary's in the JOHTO region. Yellow came out well before 2nd gen exsisted.
Besides, Red catches ALL of them, Ash catches, what... 6?

I get my info mainly from Bulbapedia and on the page for yellow, it states: 'Unlike other games, Yellow was inspired by the anime' and 'The game is loosely based on the original anime series'. Well, I suppose it says 'loosely', so it's open to interpretation. No point arguing/ debating over it.

you dont use a stone for umbreon or espeon you have to maximize your eevees happiness then depending on which one you want (umbreon at night espeon during the day) you level eevee at that time of day
It's a hack called Crystall (meaning you can catch all 251 Pokemon in this hack... but other than that it isn't anything special). I'm not sure if it still in circulation, so I'll try uploading it someplace later. I'll let you know then.

Red cought the whole kanto pokédex pokémon in R/B/G and became a pokémon master, thus having them here.
Ash/Satoshi will never be associated with the games as they have completley different creators.
