  • i don't say this shit every day, when i say it, ......it means something.

  • no one ever came close to ed except for steve lynch. ever.

  • the volume is nice.

  • That's the stuff lady gaga shit !

  • wow that lead singer looks like one of the sesame street characters

  • My 1st concert was Motley Crue's Theatre of Pain and Autograph opened for them early 80's. Plunkett now does a lot of theme songs. Like the tv show "7th Heaven". He wrote and sung the theme.

  • my hair looks just like steve plunkett's. trying to find clothes like that is the bitch though. ive got a big collection, but its starting to get worn out :(. i wish video were still this cool.

  • Blasted again whilie driving today!!O yahh

  • This is what I miss seeing guys with hair not a bunch of Bald heads. Also having Music Blasting from Your Car Stereo. Which was always Rock not that Aweful Wrap and Hip-Hop Crap. Most Kids Back then were into Real music Like This Now theyre trying to be Something they are Not.. Rock 'N' Roll Forever!!

  • Gah, these guys are so cool!!! =D

  • I have every mayor Album just a Unique Band..gd Chemistry ..!!

  • 80's still rulez!...Steve Lynch can rip the tap technique with his 8 finger taps!...This band rocks and so sorry to hear about Steve Isham!

  • grat song, 80s rocks!

  • Que buena banda se convirtio en una de mis favoritas!!

    GO AUTOGRAPH!!

  • Man this is great song!

    Thats the stuff!

  • R.I.P. Steven Isham

  • Steve Lynch has the magic touch!

  • cool band too bad nobody posted their cool song."Changing Hands" off of "Thats the stuff". that is one cool song. Autograph rocks!

  • who are autograph? iv never heard of them.

and how come their album "thats the stuff" is bein sold on amazon for £69.99?????

  • VERY limited release and would die to get a copy

  • There was a re-release of That's the Stuff with a different cover, and also with a cover of the song "We're an American Band." That re-release is extremely rare. I have a vinyl 33 of the "We're an American Band" single.

  • I prefer Sign in Please and Loud and Clear but That's The Stuff is also great.

Why I prefer those two albums to Stuff is cause of that I'm more familiar with those albums because Stuff never made it to Europe on CD by RCA.

  • great song

  • its amazing how 0:21 scared the shit out of me , and then it repeated itself XD

  • Wow, I have this album, and never knew there was a video for it. Thanks so much for posting it. Can't believe Steve Plunkett is the same guy who wrote/performed the theme for Seventh Heaven. HA! Autograph kicked ass.

  • Autograph is as underrated as hell. I'm not a big album guy, but I am just fanatical about seven of their songs here on YouTube (including this one).

  • hell what a great song! i wish i could have been there in the u.s. when this happened....long live Glam Rock!

  • Its a shame this album bombed probably because of bad promotion..I have the album and it's pretty bad ass..However, i wouldn't place it higher in my list than "sign in please"..Turn up the Radio and Send Her to Me are still the winners. As for the comment about them being 'hairy' ..well unless you lived the era..you wouldn't understand about the long hair..it was a chick magnet back then.

  • Well said. In retrospect I think a lot of the "big hair" bands were under-appreciated for their musicianship. Although many of these bands appeared to focus on the wild-party-boy, screw all the girls aspect, much great music was also produced. After Nirvana came along and the hair band era died off much of their music was unfairly dismissed. The 80's in general produced some great music. 90's music seems a bit dreary in comparison.

  • You're absolutely right about the radical change in musical style, and questionable taste, in music, from the early 90s on. I never cared for any of the music that became popular in the 90s. When amplified, thoroughly polished, fine-tuned, and well-produced 80s hard-rock and heavy metal met its end was around 1991. The new alternative sound was bland, non-stimulating, distorted, mediocre, over-simplified and pathologically boring, as well as torture to listen to. Ultimate musical bastardization.

  • cool song!

  • Great song but, man those guys are hairy!

  • I wish hair like that was popular today. I am in the process of trying to grow it.

  • u keep growing it and u will start the new trend

  • @monsieurgrandjambon i got my hair liek that lol, i love it!! you gotta tease it alot. check out my channel

  • part of the live footage was filmed when they opened for Motley Crue in Dec of 1985 at the Hollywood Sportitorium!! I was there!!

    rock on!

  • Steve sure loved his tapping. Check out his Hammerhead solo.

  • this band is awesome!!! aaa i love this band!!! soooooo much!!!

  • Steve seriously knew how to write some music man! i CANT FOR THE LIFE OF ME FIGURE OUT WHY THEIR FOLLOWING ALBUMS BOMBED :( they are so amazing!!!! seriously! what gives? This is a hit if i ever heard one! Long live the 80's!

  • You can't figure out why Autograph's later albums bombed?

Think about it. Nobody knew, back then, how much today's music would suck. Mediocritiy has dropped to an entirely new low since the introduction of main-stream hip-hop, gangsta-rap, and that stinking alternative/grunge shit. Pop-artists today are nothing original: just a bastardization of hip-hop, alternative, blues, modern rock, etc.. Pure shit, in other words, and yet they and their record handlers exert themselves like legends.

  • my favorite thing you said was

"Mediocritiy has dropped to an entirely new low"

your very right man...today's generation and their concept of..."cool" is ASS backwards!!!

but i know that one day ROCK AND ROLL will be number one again! I hope :]

I hope to bring it back with my band!!!

    I hope hope hope!

  • This Band defines what 80's Heavy Metal Is About, This song & most of their other songs should have been hits, cuz their music is bad ass. this song was alot better than turn up the radio in my point of view. I saw this band open up for van halen in 1984 at miami, fl. it was the concert of my life.

  • just hearing steve lynch's solos brings memories. the whole sound of this band represents everything the 80s was about, just awesome, if you havent lived it or have the knowledge then you just wouldnt understand. love it.

  • Absolutamente maravilloso!!!, ojala se pudiera volver a los 80's.Excelente Autograph!!!

  • Never seen this one before! Thanks so very much for sharing!! Long live '80's rock!!!

  • Recorded from MTV... back in the day when MTV actually was a decent channel to watch! :)

Videos like this were worth watching... too bad there is very little of this around anymore.

  • cool tune! cool vid! But I still liked their first album the best.

  • They made 3 excellent Hard Rock records in the fantastic 80's... Man I wish I was alive back then... Today doesn't have anything up against the 80's! 80's ROCKS! TODAY SUX!

  • Most if not all of the Live and backstage footage was shot Dec. 21st 1985 in Hollywood, Fl. Autograph was opening for Motley Crue. That was my 1st concert and remember the camera's well.

  • I love this band, man!! Why there is no music like this today - Music with BALLS

  • We need a Autograph DVD!

  • My brother Randy is the bassist

  • Favourite Song ever =D

  • Cheesey song, but I LOVE it, Steve Lynch was fun to listen to and watch, a lot of feeling in his play as well as finesse.
