  • but why do the Republicans give tax cuts and bailout money to the rich who failed?

  • right, right priority should be disussed

  • ~~~~^^^Since GOP Clown god, Ronald Reagan, Republicans have been waging CLASS WARFARE on the working people of America. The EFFECTIVE TAX RATE for the wealthest individuals & for corporations is the lowest in 50 years. Almost all Republicans have signed on to the GROVER NORQUIST no tax increase PLEDGE..... Because of these COWARDLY TREASONOUS REPUBLICANS we now have a serious REVENUE problem which should be a matter of NATIONAL SECURITY. .......~~~^~^^ Is there not ONE REAL MAN IN THE LOT?~~^^^~

  • So the poor are "stray animals"?! Until we focus on eliminating ALL poverty (like a civilized society should)in our country the USA does not deserve to be restored to former S. Power status. If we can spend Trillions of dollars dropping bombs on Iraq and Afghanistan we can afford to feed our own voters who need it. The poor didn't tank our economy and embarrass our nation, they simply do not have the access to resources to do that. It was the rich, politicians and big business. Deflection.

  • The banks owe the US citizens $ 5000 on average, just by this fact alone.

  • @20thcentfox appearently they already started feeding on the brains of the ignorant right.

  • I have no issues with that. Government aid is such a counterproductive concept. Who'd wanna get a job when you can get paid to sit home and jerk off? There's only one solution. End all extended government aid. No aid should be given for more than a few weeks, no what matter race you are. That way, blacks and liberals won't turn around and call policy makers racist.

  • once one side gets councered then the secdon half would get it once there weaken

  • I remember when the Tea Party first started. A young Libertarian who wanted to get active and participate, Tea Party movement was fantastic when it first started then we got corporate help and the GOP started funding us and then all hell broke lose and in the process our message got drowned in money, ignorance, bigotry and hatred. Libertarians love their country, Love their leaders we might not agree on how the country should be ran but we are still loyal, I hate the GOP for making us look dumb.

  • basically he is speaking in Tea Party code saying minorities shouldn't get any justice, but the government is in black and white not the kind of black and white like the Tea Party sees,so in the process those people who vote for him are hurting themselves.

  • "I bet he's totally honest and would only cut assistance to those who are not in "real" need."

It's unbelievable how insane you would have to be to think that.

  • Huh I thought it was only Democrats who participated in class warfare.

  • I LOVE how the same people who are against helping people who have kids irresponsibly also want to outlaw abortion. It's classic hypocracy. dicks.

  • @JennJenification Abortion is legal in NC, so it tells you those mistake children could easily have been prevented, and that the parents had them just for the sake of having children. The results would be the same regardless of whether or not abortion is outlawed. Unwanted/fatherless children are the last things society needs.

  • Here's an idea. Do not love your neighbor, instead make them turn against each other.

  • w/n 30 seconds I could tell this white racist asshole from NC was talking about BLACKS on welfare...oh and I'm SURE the fucking douchebag is a nice "Christian" man, he needs a big smackdown from the baby jeebus

  • silly republicans, they don't want you to get abortions, but they don't want you to have to many kids. in some states, they'll arrest you if you miscarry, and demonize you if you need help to take care of your kids. the worst thing is they have women who are all for this shit. bunch of hypocrites, vote them all out, vote for anyone who's not a republican or democrat.

  • What's wrong with somebody with a legitimate disability getting mad at somebody who is gaming the system? I don't agree with the verbiage, but I think it is important to differentiate between people who really need help and those who don't and are pretending they do. The 2nd half of this video is just a rant on a whole other issue and I wish Cenk would try to stay on topic. You can convince people of things more when you compartmentalize your argument so it doesn't get confused with other things

  • WOW... A true Republican. I'm so..... not surprise to any more of their

Ideas. At least the man said what he really mean and not side track it into the speech. This is a scary times.

  • As a liberal I am for a limit to how many kids the government will help you with.

People who have 10 children should have to pay for the 8 the government will not help you with.

  • its not that despicable. some people milk the system, and i say fuck em.

  • Wow, truly despicable.

  • These people who "just have to many kids" that he's talking about have done NOTHING wrong...in his sick twisted little brain you shouldn't even THINK of having children unless you're financially able to take care of 10 of them. That way none of "his money" will be touched if my wife and i should need help taking care of the extra blessing we ended up having.

  • This sick fuck should be tarred, feathered, and then be forcibly ejected from a moving vehicle into the mojave desert. Does he not realize how easy it is to have a situation come out of nowhere and completely flip your financial well-being upside down? My wife and i wanted a baby, we planned accordingly, made preparations, got pregnant and were overjoyed. When it was time for the 1st ultrasound the Dr. found TWO fertilized eggs in her belly. Could JUST as easily have been 3 or 4.

  • It's national "Punch a Vile Republican In The Face" for the next century. Their motto is "We'll fight like hell for unborn babies, but once you suck air, we just don't care". They aren't just evil soulless lying hate machines; they're also huge assholes

  • @Bolgernow we must purge this country of Republican ideology in public office...but how? things have to get worse and worse in order for people to riot.

  • @asdfqwervd look at their primary, what the candidates have publicly said policy wise, & the selection. Their party is in horrible shape. It's like they are now the party of hateful anti gay, women, minority, poor, middle class, & working American's. They only create policy for religious folks, & the top 3%. Not a very popular vision. They are killing themselves by their own hands. It's sad...

  • @Bolgernow it's not sad...it's the way it should be.. the Republicans have screwed this country over and made it waste 2 decades. we had no real economy from 2001-2008 and we'll have another 8-10 years of economic stagnation. But, Republicans own 50% of the government. It's ridiculous.

  • @asdfqwervd yes, I agree with you. What's sad it that it's at the expense of all American's with corporate welfare for the top 3%. It's disgusting. They suck wind

  • @Bolgernow what can we do about it? I wish i can just go out and scream some sense into people...I feel like these Republicans are destroying the middle class and they still are so successful at getting us to "hate" our own Government...when Government is really the only solution we have towards private corporate corruption, greed, and trumping of labor rights.

  • @asdfqwervd well said...

  • And Fox News says class warfare doesn't exist...

  • If they so concerned with poor people irresponsibly having children, why not focus on teaching young people about safe sex and helping women get birth control? Why aren't they supporting Planned Parenthood, which isn't just a place to have abortions, but also a place that hands out condoms and is a cheap alternative for women that need birth control and sexual counseling?

  • occupy north carolina go

  • Hell I paid into social security for 15 years and I can't even get my money back from the government after I suffered a bad back injury, three doctors have told me I can't work again but hey the SS admin doc must disagree. *sigh*

I sure would like to know where this secret government money teat is.....

  • @Xenite227 One invisible teat is in the armpit of america, AKA wall street, the other one is in the ass crack, AKA Koch Industries.

  • Divide & Conquer = The tried & tested weapon of choice of the ruling elite!

The weak of mind & spirit will always be destroyed by that weapon!

  • I am coming for you traitor. How do you like your jail cell, forced anal or forced oral.

  • Golden parachutes are the most expensive form of government welfare, by far.

  • I don't agree with the whole of what he said, but what's wrong with calling out women that don't know how to keep their legs closed and constantly pop out babies year after year while being able to secure nothing more than a

just-above-minimum wage job? Octo-ho's as I like to call them are a real culprit.

  • what's wrong with going after deadbeats?

  • It's always a tiny minority that abuses welfare systems, but populists never want facts in context, they exaggerate, pervert and add imaginary numbers where they see fit to make a fantastic case to introduce draconian legislation.

    .

It's like the far-right here in Sweden telling people how Muslims commit all rape cases, while actual police statistics told a completely different story. Now here in Sweden, the political climate forces them to be more careful and apology, but in the U.S it's savage

  • A lot of poor people are suffering from an economic kind of Stockholm Syndrome. They're defending the very people that are holding them economically bound and gagged.

  • A little more then 1% of adult americans are on Welfare. Conservatives are endlessly fighting their own delusions

  • Who elects these guys?

Bring the party of George HW Bush back man!

  • Everyone having above 2 or 3 kids from a family, should imo not get more (or reduced) subsidies when they get more kids. You shouldn't make having more than 3 kids illegal, obviously, I'm a liberal, but surely you can reduce subsidies after the third kid. It's a good debt reduction rule imo. They're doing it (very carefully) in the Netherlands now.

  • These republicans are still coming out the back room to show they're insanity. Gross!

  • I disagree with Cenk. The people that really need welfare should not be lumped with those abusing the system. Shame should be brought on those that bring society down. It is no different from separating corrupt rich men from those that are honest

  • He is totally correct about kicking the lazy and worthless off welfare...Get a freaking Job. There is more fraud in welfare system then there should be...Dont ask what your country can do for you...Ask what you can do for your country.

  • This is EXACTLY what they do ALL the time. I mean, it's the BASIS of GOP support.

Why do you think they want us to hate immigrants? THIS IS WHY.

  • @Tuuliska Watch "Don't Be a Sucker". You can find it here on YouTube. This shows almost exactly what is happening now.

  • @ccricers Thanks, watched it and it was a very topical video... despite being made in 1947. Just proves that some things never change.

  • One of the first times I've agreed with a republican.

  • Most single parents were once in a relationship.

    Most unemployed were once employed.

    Most sick were once well.

    Many poor were once wealthy.

Do conservatives understand the concept of a safety net?

It's for the trapeze, not the clowns, but though sometimes the net catches the wrong people, it is still necessary, and many clowns used to be trapeze.

  • THESE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT CALL THEMSELVES CHRISTIANS - GOD DAMN SHAME.

  • I'm a liberal, and it there most definitely is as such thing as too many kids. Yeah its not fair to punish the kids, but people who are on assistance should not be having more kids. This is where i differ with religious people. I think contraceptive should be provided for everyone, because its cheaper to provide birth control than provide for unwanted kids.

  • North Carolina is full of poverty because the best jobs are now all in the technology sector. Some are in the meat packing business but they higher illegals. Regular Americans don't want those jobs. And the construction business is so corrupt in NC that they only higher illegals who do a shit job anyways. Hard workers my ass. If you want to solve the jobs crisis you have to address illegal immigration.

  • So this guy is a bad guy because he wants people to 'look down on' those who game the system? I thought that's what OWS was all about?

Apparently this commentator doesn't care if you defraud the taxpayer if you're not rich.

  • @UtubeMyAccountName Okay wow. This is just a stupid comment. People like a single mom who makes less that $8,000 are not by any stretch gaming the system. Children cost a lot more than to raise than the checks they receive. No one is against stopping people who don't need it from obtaining these benefits. That doesn't mean we should be cutting off people who do because they have fallen onto hard times.

  • @Iwoqvossik First, that isn't what the guy in the video said.

Second, having a child you can't afford is not 'falling on hard times', it is a choice.

Why have a kid if you have no money to afford it? Why have a kid with by a man who is unwilling or unable to afford it? Did this woman think she could raise a child on $8,000.00 a year with no support from the father?

...and let's not bother discussing those who repeat this 'mistake'.

  • @UtubeMyAccountName According to republicans it's not a choice, as prolifers are against birth control AND abortion. Not to mention their bible commanded them to fill the earth. You could argue it's god's will. And it's bullshit to blame them mother is the father walked out, died or was abusive. Not every one of these women are single by choice.

  • @Iwoqvossik This argument about birth control is ridiculous on its face. If you cannot even afford birth control; if you have to rely on taxpayer money to afford a fucking condom, or birth control pills, or whichever of the myriad forms of contraception available, how oh how do you think you can afford a baby?

...and it's bullshit to blame society as well.

They may not be single by choice (although that's not at all true), but they absolutely made the choice to have a baby they couldn't afford.

  • @UtubeMyAccountName

Exactly. Just like all the other libtards who criticize corporations for taking "bailout money", but if some loser who doesn't feel like working just wants to collect "disability", well that's fine.

  • @Steve197201 This is my entire problem with partisan arguments. Conservatives & liberals (and everyone else with political agendas) are constantly guilty of hypocritically criticizing each other for expressing similar (if not exactly the same) sentiments, simply because the subjects of that criticism are (perceived as) dissimilar.

The problem isn't who games/rigs the system. The problem is a system that lends itself (by design) to being gamed/rigged.

  • You make $21,000 a year! Fuckin' fat cat. Gimme that dough, my job creator friends need to buy a new ranch.

  • Yeah fuck over the guy on the dole ripping off the state for a couple of grand a month all of which he spends in the local economy. On no account audit halliburtion who charged the US military over $100 per meal supplied and then absconded to Saudi Arabia with all the cash. Fucking republican scum.

  • Even if you have a genuine disability welfare offices across assume the world assume you are faking unless you are clearly in a wheelchair and shitting in a bag.

  • Funny how there's so few people that benefit from Republican policies, and yet so many that vote them into office.

Doesn't that strike anyone as weird?

  • @shittyfagg Yeah those republicans freeing the slaves against the the wishes of the democrats really didn't help many people . idiot .

  • @imN0Ttheone i'm sorry, what?

  • @shittyfagg Yes you're definitely sorry .

  • @imN0Ttheone Do you really think Lincoln would be a Republican in today's political climate? No chance in hell. In fact, Lincoln probably wouldn't be a politician, he'd be disgusted with every single member of our federal government and how they've destroyed this country and given in to the banks, who now control the United States. The Republic Party of 100+ years ago is in no way, shape, or form the Republican Party of today.

  • @seriousguynogames3 Unlike you i won't try to speak for Lincoln . But i'm sure he would not have switched to the party of Barack Obama . Forget about the Republicans freeing the slaves over the objections of democrats what about the Civil Rights Act of the 60s that the dems like Robert Byrd fought to the bitter end . While you maybe right that the republicans are not the party they were 100 years a go the democrats sure are the same party keeping blacks in poverty and dependent .

  • @imN0Ttheone "Unlike you i won't try to speak for Lincoln" then... "But i'm sure he would not have switched to the party of Barack Obama". Contradicting yourself in your first sentence. Nigh swan.

  • @seriousguynogames3 Stating i disagree with you that Lincoln would not be a Republican now is not speaking for Lincoln you nitwit

  • @imN0Ttheone Umm...yeah, it is. Same thing, just an opposing viewpoint.

  • @seriousguynogames3 No you made a claim that you know how Lincoln would react in the future i simply said you don't know your ass from a hole in the ground .

  • @imN0Ttheone Your unintentional use of irony only makes me stronger.

  • You can't get assistance if you make more than $8000 a year? WTF? That's less than minimum wage.

  • Republican answer to everything: Make poor people feel like shit.

    You voted for that.

  • Subject the hopeless and the lame to be certain to crush the bad guys. Survival of the fittest. People who live by policies like those don't realize their own potential for prejudice treacherous injustice.

Bullies try to weed out the weak cause to them that's where the insidious manipulating pathetic desperate ingrate's come from. That delusion is formed by their mistake of reflecting onto others their OWN secure(spoiled) ego's potential to become the insidious desperate manipulating ingrate.

  • someone needs to off this prick.

  • I love how these ass holes are convinced that those who have the least somehow control the entire nation.

  • I think he's referring to drug addiction

  • What people do not understand is a lot of NC's prosperity relied on factories, but those factories have packed up and left and more are coming...

  • I love how these assholes can come to the conclusion that the people who have the least are somehow in control of everything in the United States.

  • Excellent call on the banks needing government assistance.

  • Hey Cenk you grandstanding loudmouth... you say this politician is trying to stem the flow of money to needy people while not fighting against money to banks or corporations.

Yes, your question sounds reasonable, and I'm sure your impressionable audience lap it up, right to the point of saying you should run for President (lol).

But that's typical TYT. You use 1 clip to support your point, not knowing in fact if he hasn't made corporate welfare one of his main things he fights against

  • @hofifut It's not a question it's a statement of fact you confused dunce.

  • @nilbud

    OK, so what's your point?

  • wow.

  • Goebels had nothing on Cenk

  • @imN0Ttheone you're an idiot.

  • @hollaboutit Wow thats quite a snappy come back you must have been on the debate team in high school .

  • @imN0Ttheone You're an idiot.

  • @imN0Ttheone uh huh. fail.

  • @hollaboutit You have barely made it passed grunting in language skills .

  • @imN0Ttheone derp. good comeback you must have been on the debate team in high school. derp.

  • DanielManahan you are truly a Republican idiot it seems you did not listen to a single word he said except cut any help to the poor folks like you truly make me sick to my stomach

  • fail, that asshat is fail

  • There are women and men out there that have 5-6 kids and can't pay for them. Then they get on welfare and food stamps and complain they still can't make it and it's the stupid liberals that defend them. Anyone who has kids that they can't afford and then complains about it seriously needs to be shot.

  • @shadowedge69 Are the men and women who have 5-6 kids and can't pay for them Republicans or Democrats ?

  • @shadowedge69 You sir/madam are a bigot who can't see past the crap that's been fed to you through the media. I know people like those you describe but I also know that person is living in terrible conditions and most definitely needs help feeding her children. To say that she cant get help even though she NEEDS it is truly beyond me. She is not what's causing this country's problem and maybe if u got your foot out of your ass for two second you'd see who's really causing this country's fall

  • @EXstormDragon I don't have a house full of kids because I'm not a dumbass leech. My comments are directed at the lazy welfare bitches that bring this on themselves, not the people who fall on hard times later on in life. I'm not a bigot, I just want to hold people accountable for not helping our situation. The bankers and the Fed is more of a problem for sure, but we must all do our part if we hope to survive. Welfare bums are a waste of oxygen.(you know those that refuse to get off ever)

  • @shadowedge69 so you have proof of the assumptions you're making about people on welfare?

  • @hardforatard It's common sense, use some critical thinking skills. I'm not picking on the innocents that use welfare as a temporarily fix to help themselves. I'm only talking about those bums who have kids on welfare and continue to have kids. How can anyone with a brain justify that? Anyone on welfare shouldn't allowed to have more children. Why? Because kids cost a lot of damn money. If they can't afford living without assistance before, why would having more kids help?

  • @shadowedge69 it's not common sense at all. you're making a claim that requires evidence. i'm not going to take your word for it simply because you don't like some people on welfare.

  • @shadowedge69 How much money do these people actually get and what is so good about being poor that people would do such a thing as stay in such abhorrent conditions. I don't know how many people do this myself but I'm sure it's a very low priority given how much money is being siphoned out of america by the top 1%. Trillions of dollars versus a low minority getting 100s of dollars in food stamps.Seems to me that the latter is a slightly greater priority.

  • @EXstormDragon You're an idiot, you know that. Most of the lower middle class and the welfare class earn about the same if you look at the expenses, not the money trail. Welfare leeches get free/discounted housing, medical, food stamps, and tons of other benefits a family that works for a living is able to barely break even. That's why I'm pissed off for the middle class, not the 1% dumbass. It's not fair for the middle class to pay all these taxes and still only be slightly better...

  • @shadowedge69 he or she is no dumber than a person that has no proof for what he claims.

  • @shadowedge69 You really think it is that easy to milk welfare? TRY IT! Seriously. It is not easy to get it if you are poor unless you have a disability. Sure there is a tiny minority that have worked around it to take advantage but that is hardly the reality for the vast majority of recipients.

  • @kubush It's difficult to get benefits that's for sure. Social Security disability is VERY difficult to be approved - taking up to 3 years! in which you cannot work, which is WHY you've applied for social security, no income at all - try it and tell me how easy it is folks. You are barking up the wrong boogeyman. It's not the poor, it's the bankers, government, military industrial complex, the thieves and crooks running our world.

  • @EXstormDragon You need to learn how to add in the value of entitlements vs wages and you'd be educated on this topic. The middle class pays huge taxes, medical, and all kinds of money they owe. All that money they get they work for, they don't sit on their ass waiting for the mailman to come by and drop a check in the mail or wait until the 1st so link card will have money on it. Go check what the middle class earns and maybe you'll learn something.

  • @shadowedge69

The reason why people react to those types of big-headed bullheaded sentiments like yours is because too many people subject others with all that uncertain belligerent aimless wrath fueled uppity high-minded inflated ego. There will always be more people than there are jobs cause the number of people finishing school every year outnumber what the system can accommodate considering how technological services and production has become. Your negativity is misdirected and out of place

  • @athews1976 Whatever... fucking liberal retard.

  • @Asher8328 Many do so because they do not trust the other side. but im guessing you think its because they are stupid.

  • @Kooshkff At the very least they're misinformed. It's like the "53%" that like to list the overwhelming burdens they face and yet are willing to let Wall Street of the hook (even though Wall St., in fact, has contributed greatly to those problems)

  • @Asher8328

Your vote really doesn't do anything outside of slight, cosmetic changes. All it really does is tell the officials who the people want in office. The government does not speak for the democrats OR those "53%."

  • @Asher8328

My honest opinion is that the election between obama and mccain was comical at best.

It's almost as if the Republics chose the oldest geezer (and the dumbest woman in the country) to go against Obama KNOWING full well that he would opt for bipartisan solutions on everything. It was a no brainer. The republicans and democrats are in agreement on many core issues giving the people absolutely no voice at all.

  • @Kooshkff I'm not that much of a conspiracy theorist but that's an interesting theory. One thing is for certain, Obama has taken a lot less criticism for right wing policies than you would see if a Republican president were to do the same things.

  • @Asher8328

Well I wouldn't call it a conspiracy theory. I don't think the Illuminati is involved or anything like that :P. But it's no secret these politicians play dirty.

  • @Kooshkff i've wondered at that same idea myself.

  • I don't entirely diagree with this. I have a friend that's on SSI when he's completely capable of working. He's a great mechanic, and works on vehicles all the time, but he just sits at home instead of working, waiting for his SSI check. Then he gives his parents rent, and goes off to buy four wheelers, dirt bikes, and weed with our money.

  • @resincoatedlungs So therefore, no one should have it? What's your point? Just because someONE you know is abusing the system, doesn't mean it's a failed system. Your friend is, according to you, a lazy idiot. Why should you and he decide that no one should benefit from working, paying into the system, and then retiring?

  • @timdaughte

I have issues with social security, but I suppose it's existence is a good thing at the end of the day. But Social Security as far as benefites go are about as easy to get as catching a cold. My half-sister's mom is on it for carpel tunnel for fucks sake, I could get it for my bipolar and asperger's, but I don't.. I get up every morning and go to work. The system needs to be altered, they can't keep giving out benefits for people who don't need them just because they applied twice.

  • @resincoatedlungs I know many more people who've waited and waited to be approved for social security. I known it to take up to 3 years while disabled, unable to work and no money to live which is WHY someone applies for SS in the first place! I know of a FEW who've gotten it easily but MANY more who've waited themselves into financial ruin.

Thanks for sharing your story. This way everyone will hear both sides.

  • Hey Republicunt fucktard, if you didn't want so many people "living off the system", maybe you and your shithead party members shouldn't give tax breaks to asshole companies WHO SHIP AMERICAN JOBS OVER-FUCKING-SEAS... Maybe they could have a decent manufacturing job and not need government help.... but that would hurt your rich whore master friends, right? Can't have that, fuck Americans, it's about the money.....scumbag.

(sorry about the profanity, these assholes piss me off).

  • The republican mantra is simply that if you are poor then it’s your fault and you should be left on the road to die end of story. People might disagree but it’s the truth.

  • @MTVVH1sucks The Democrats are always trying to scheme their way into the pockets of all Americans. Republicans want people to have the money that they earn. Democrats want the funnel which is Washington, D.C. to continue to flow with the money of the American people and you always vote for the funnel.

  • @MrSpencerport No, the democrats just want to raise taxes on the top ten percent and are constantly being forced to defend social safety nets that the GOP despise so much. I think that it is funny how that you automatically assume I am a democrat because I criticize the GOP. You sound like a total brainwashed peasant. Take your funnel and stick it up your ass!

  • @MTVVH1sucks If Democrats were truely for the poor they would be for increased oil production, with gas prices at $3.50 per gallon gasoline has now become a luxury item for the poor and lower middle class, plus with high energy prices means higher prices everywhere. Republicans want less people needing social safety nets but Democrats always say the more the merrier. Please keep defending the funnel of Washington, D.C., where the money of the American people goes to die.

  • @MrSpencerport Artificially subsidising gas prices is the single dumbest thing any government could do. You don't seem to grasp the concept of peak oil.

  • @nilbud Putting handcuffs on any energy industry is the single dumbest thing any government could do. Do don't seem to grasp the idea that $3.50 gas is killing the poor and lower middle class.

  • @MrSpencerport Today's gas prices are not based on supply vs demand. They are set by "negotiations" between regulators and suppliers. There is little actual competition in the refinery business(end of the chain.) Increased production that out-paced demand would simply end up in storage(as oil,) having little effect on gas prices.

  • @yadabub Your "negotiations" would be alot different if the handcuffs were taken off the American oil industry. Operation Free Flow would create 1.2 million jobs in the first year alone, bring down gas prices and lower prices everywhere. Do you agree that artifically high gas prices hurt the poor and lower middle class ?

  • @MrSpencerport The truth is the oil industry currently has a surplus. The prices have to do with false projections made within the industry itself. It's like what happens when someone pays for a study to prove their own views. The study will say exactly what they want it to.

  • @MrSpencerport Do you have a link for your Operation Free Flow? A google search didn't immediately make it apparent. All prices are artificial as pricing is an element of the money system which is a human construct. I do agree that higher prices do tend to hurt the lower classes.

Without some regulation, oil producers would have no reason to do anything in the interest of the consumer while chasing profits. The result: Prices higher still, a trashed environment.

  • @MrSpencerport You do understand that the oil is running out, that you can destroy all the nature preserves and coastlines you want but in two years all that extra oil will be gone and the gas guzzling cars will still be there. Petrol costs $1 a litre in the US and $2 a litre in the EU, that's why our engines are more efficient. Generally cars get 50mpg+

  • @nilbud " the oil is running out " I expected a better answer then that. The earth has been making oil the moment life started 4 million years ago and we can't produce any more because we're already through it in 150 years ? People have to suffer because that's what you believe ? The Russians, Chinese, Venzualians and Cubans don't believe what you believe.

  • @MrSpencerport Ha ha ha that's very amusing. I appreciate a laugh so I'll tip you with some knowledge. The earth is 4.5Billion years old, life started 3.5Billion years ago the oil was laid down during the Jurassic period between 199-145m years ago. New oil is discovered at around 15b barrels a year but demand is 30b barrels a year and rising. Look up peak oil and try to think beyond the end of the next quarter.

  • @nilbud So 1.5 million people can be employed through oil exploration and your answer is simply no. I've been looking for the date when Liberals and Progressives took control of the oil of the U.S. but I can't find that date anywhere. Do you know the year this occured ?

  • @MrSpencerport You have a very confused way of looking at things. Oil is a finite scarce resource, it needs to be conserved not wasted. The price of energy is going to rise no matter what because the demand is outstripping supply.

  • @nilbud The sun is a finite resource also. Have you found the date when Liberals and Progressives took control the U.S. oil reserves, I googled it but didn't find the date.

  • @MrSpencerport You're confused. The sun's expected to last around another 5 billion years or so so for al intents and purposes it is an infinite resource. Theres around 100 years of oil left on the planet and when it's gone it's gone. The amount of stuff made from oil is vast and burning it in SUVs is retarded.

  • @MrSpencerport Wow! next you are going tell me that Obama is going to try to take my guns away hahaha can you be anymore misinformed? Both parties have been and still are in favor of drilling domestically It looks like someone has not been paying attention. I just have one question for ya smart guy: so do you think it was a waste of taxpayer dollars when we used them to secure all those nuclear weapons in Russia or r you talking about the wallstreet bailouts when it comes to reckless spending?

  • The poor are like allergies for Republican congressman

  • The amazing thing is that some poor people actually vote for these clowns.

  • @Asher8328 That is what must be changed.

  • @Asher8328

Yeah, ignorance is bliss I guess, oh wait, no its not. :)

  • @Asher8328 is it right for the govt to subsidize an illegal activity like doing drugs..if not drugs do you think poor people should get away with murder just because they are poor? I dont see the outrage of making people who want govt assistances to take drug tests...next thing youre gonna say is that its wrong for businesses to do drug tests as well...

  • @Asher8328 Well that is a good enough reason to why they are poor. They are idiots.

However a LOT of people are not. Sadly the idiots ruin for the rest.

  • Dividing is what Republicans do best, but ironically they're not very good at math.

  • Heartless people.

  • In what I've seen, it's the non-disabled people on public assistance who are currently treating the disabled like they should crawl into a hole and die. It's harder for a disabled person to get assistance on their own (i.e. without a guardian or a lawyer) than it is for some functionally illiterate drop out turned baby factory.

  • Republicans express their intent to weaken the government to make it smaller, yet they circumvent the fourth amendment and pass laws that give the state more police powers.

The current US Supreme Court is not as good as the Earl Warren US Supreme Court.

Clarence Thomas is not as good as Thurgood Marshall.

  • Funny hearing Cenk criticize Thom Tillis for talking about dividing and conquering when all the while, he supports the Occupy Wall Street people, who constantly divide the country between the "1%" and the other "99%".

  • @Steve197201

The 1% are against the rest of the populace. That's obvious.

  • @AmericanNohbuddy

Oh yeah, those evil "1%" are against everyone else. Could it be that they just worked harder than the other 99%?
