  • you are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY simultanous at every note!!!

  • Piazolla 100% Argentino!!!!

  • fantastico

  • cheater !! to do the same need one my clone !!!

    ahahahahahhahahaha

    mcmdm great

  • I love 1:36 to 214 very nice feel))

  • really nice, well played.

  • Absolutely amazing.

  • Please go kill yourself. If you're not able to enjoy the piece, that's your problem. Don't go spouting off about tempo or interpretation. Think you can do it better? Put it on utube you pompus ass. I haven't punched anybody out in 25 years, but I'd probably come out of retirement for you.

  • Hello,

I just watched you two play at Rosevelt University in Chicago at the festival and all I can say is WOW. If you two ever find yourself near Fort Wayne Indiana, we here at Indiana University/ Purdue Fort Wayne would LOVE a concert and would be glad to have you. ( we were the ones who played the Slovick Dance in the master class) I am only a Freshman at IPFW and can only dream of when my classical guitar talent reaches your level. Pure Inspiration !

  • I just found one tiny mistake....that awful painting in the background!!

  • p.s : besides the tempo is absolutly not just the question of interpretation...specially not in classical music. first of all its the question of the authors instruction!

  • If they played it slower the structure and the changes would become softer or weaker in my opinion...

no offense but it was a bit funny to imagine them making ppl dance...uhm when was the last time u saw ppl dance to classical guitar music...i would really watch that!

  • It's a tango. lol.

  • still its a classical guitar piece...

  • definitely not!

  • Exactly...interpretation and its their interpretation and they are damn well educated guitar players!so u proove my point. If u dont get a shit in those "chromatic moments" well thats too bad for u..or other words do u really think that artists like them would allow themselves to ruin the quality with a too fast tempo...they are pretty well aware of their limits!!so listen more carefully!

  • geniales!

  • Impresionante! Exelente interpretación, y que viva el maestro Piazzolla!!

  • bravissimo!!

  • aaaaa! muy bien interpretan tango -¿ en que estado viven ?

  • I think they have more passion and soil in the playing than other duos out there.

Great playing. If there will be close by I would definetly arrange a concert for them.

  • Too fast for a tango... Do they try to make people dance this tango with their interpretation ? They remind me some jazz guitarists who play Rythme futur toooo fast, and didn't get the feeling of the piece.

It's my very humble opinion, no offense.

  • The Assad Brothers play this piece on recordings at quite the same tempo. And for them Piazzolla wrote it. On other versions it is played slowlier and I donßt think that these are more passioned through this.

  • have u ever heard about Astor Piazzola?its fast coz this is the tempo and just because its called tango it doesnt have to be danceable cos in this case tango is the style of the music!

  • Have you ever heard of the word "interpretation" ? Because all interpretations and perfs aren't equal. In this video, the chromatic moments are so fast that it ruins the quality of them (in other words we don't get a shit). I just feel that this piece, played on the guitar, must be played a little slower to be beautiful. Tastes. ;)

  • The are two kinds of tango music, the one made for dance and the other made to ear. Astor Piazolla made a revolution in tango whit all this fast tempos and stuff and his work are refered to the tango made for ear it. So dont be confuse because this is the tempo of the piece and it was beautifully played if you dont get the feeling i suggest you listen more carrefully.

  • Yeah, like i said, i already heard Piazolla. :/

He didn't play the guitar, from what I heard. The guitar version - in my ears - would be quite better if it was played slower. Am I clear enough ? :)

  • And you are the second to talk about the original tempo... Since when have we been forced to follow a tempo to make a perf, or to play someone else ? In "classical" music, contemporan music, in covers, and also in tango, tempo is just a question of interpretation. Piazolla surely played this piece at different tempi, so in a way, the "tempo argument" is pointless. No ?

  • Na ez valami egészen elképesztő! Nagyonnagyon jók vagytok! Gratulálok!

  • They and the duo assad try to equalize(to agree upon) Joel duo and Mauricio, but they know that this is a dream not more.

  • they're trying to match the assad brothers hehe =)

  • yo creo que es mucho mil veces mejor la forma de interpretar esta obra el duo de joel y mauricio ...de todas formas ellos tienen talento y creo q con mucho estudio podrian llegar a ser algun dia como ellos .. aunque no lo creo...

  • too fast! But very very good!!

  • I want it as mp3 format!

  • Thumbs UP !

  • As usual, totally STUNNING!!!!! BRAVO!!!

  • Bravo so amazing

  • Absolutely awesome!

  • very GOOD

  • Great!!

  • very beautiful. I am playing the Piazzolla tangos on flute (with the guitar accompainment on CD). Truly wish I had a classical guitarist to play with live, as good as you two!

  • bravo.

  • You have to have some Gypsy blood in the DNA.

  • Bravo les gars!

  • buenísimo! abrazos desde Argentina

  • Excellent interpretation, though quite a bit faster then the Assad brothers a beleive... either way, excellent job. I always thought it difficult to play at a fast tempo with a duet, but I've had little experience in duets, so I guess I wouldn't know. Sounded great.

  • very good, but notice, it's not the tango, it's the tango 3

  • SUPERB

  • son la ley

  • cool

  • Excellent interpretation!

quite similar to the assad brothers version

  • Good job!

  • Bravi!!!
