  • You need to change the name of this video it has NOTHING to do with Windows 7 and will not work for Windows 7 this is only for a downloaded Vista install disk.

  • @haris504 Thank you very much! I hope this helped, and thanks for watching. I have one other tutorial that might interest you on how to make your bootable Windows 7 reinstall disc any version of Windows 7. Check it out if you're interested.

  • Please tell me what to select in "Extract Boot image" last option in Bootable Disc Tab??

  • @haris504 It should be the drive where you have your "source directory" file. (The folder that contains all the windows files as explained in the tutorial). This was for me, the main hard drive on my computer when I did it because that is where my files were located. Hope that helps.

  • this is the only way after trying for 3 days to make a bootable disk that work thanx so much man

  • @michaelalantharp You are welcome, and thanks for watching!

  • Is it safe for me to download

  • @buttkiss36 If you are referring to Imgburn, then yes. It is a freeware program. Always be advised to virus scan anything you download though. I do, no matter if I think it is safe to download or not.

  • so, next time I won't need a new installation CD?

  • @hellx159 This will make a bootable installation disc from the Windows files. It can replace your original disc in case you lose it or it gets ruined and won't work anymore. So no, you won't need to purchase a new Windows disc as long as you make a backup copy.

  • Thanks alot man , that helped alot ^_^ +1

  • Man very thanks. You are god. MAny tys

  • I hope my DVD will work now. As for your video, i think it would be better if you recorded yourself talking through what you did as the video plays. So people hear whats need to be done. it was quite simple but, i think it would be better than the music. Thanks alot for the help

  • thanks a lot legend! :)

  • Where are the source files? Please help!

  • @117CamBam They are the files that you have either downloaded from Microsoft or have placed on your hard drive from an actual Windows disc. I have another tutorial if you have the wrong version of Windows 7. It will let you make a disc that will boot any version.

  • Okay, so I'm not really sure if this can help me...I recently had a HUGE problem with my computer, and the only way to fix it was to put all my personal files onto disks and then do a system recovery back to when it was first bought. It took me 4 days to do this. Well, half way through the recovery it said there was a system error and closed down. When I reopened it I got a message saying I could reboot it back to when it was bought by using the installation disk. I no longer have it. Help?

  • @daleskill1 All the files needed are located in the Source Directory file wherever you would have saved it on your computer. The first picture is just what that file folder would look like if it was opened to reveal it's contents and subfolders. I hope that answers you question. 1 second ago
