good job. I have a thundercat too, i can do it in first gear with no problem, but in 2nd it`s very tricky. I don`t recomand you to keep doing this because it`s not healthy for the engine&gearbox. anyway good job! You need some skills to do that so smoothly
what year is yours? i have a 96 thundercat but the second gear doesn't work so i have to go straight from 1st to 3rd and im afraid that if i get my speed up enough and throw it into 1st i might damage the transmission even more. how do you get a bike so heavy up? you made it look completely effortless like it was a super light bike or was at least a 750!
damn had an 02 yzf for years and never could get the front tire up other thab 1st gear unless i hit a bump n second at the perfect time..not a prob no more on the cbr1k
i have a 95 600 not sure if its the r or not. but that girl comes up so easy its crazy.. i had bought it with a one down mod in the front. and then added a 2 up in the rear. i have another front that is 2 down but i havent installed it yet.. i dont know exactly how mych my top end went down but it was to the point where i am unhappy .. i think i top around 150 now.. but its faster than most newer bigger bikes too.
I can clutch it up in first I know that sounds stupid but the bike is heavy so it doesnt come up too fast.. I can ride it out a few seconds hard to find the balance point
I have a 2005 YZF600r and know that its a fucking heavy ass bike. I ve done many mods and 1st dyno'd 88 hp and after all my mods im pushing 98.2 hp dyno'd. I went 1 tooth down in the front, put a Barnett clutch etc...The bike weights 492lbs wet, and its a pig to find a balance point thats happy! And I bought the bike new so this is my 5th year with it and know the bike in and out! Sooo with that said...FUCKING SICK DUDE!!!
@Rippingsax1 when u went one tooth down in the front could you tell the differance? I was looking to go 1 down a 2 up but dont want to loose a lot of top end. I was thinkin of just getting the 1 down and seein how that was...Did you have to replace your chain when u went one down?
How did you get it to stand up so easy? I've got an 01 and I've had it jetted, full system, dropped a tooth on the front and I can't get mine to come up in second. first is no problem, but I can hammer it and it still won't come up. Either way your shit looked good!!
@velad hey try doin it on a 97 I got a 97 dont know if they improved in the later years but it is a hard bike to pull up.... did you cahnge anything to help it come up like the sprokets??? plus the steel frame makes it heavier
@dsjvdwielen Honestly the sprockets are all stock. You just have to power it up when you hit about 7-8 thousand rpms. I don't know bout you but I put my left foot on the rear foot peg. Grtz from the USA lol.

Its a 2003 yamaha yzf600r :) its not the best stunt bike thought. It took me a while to find the balance point.
