movies like this all family can watch to gather music all family can enjoy the real pakistani entertainment... BUT what the hell hapend these days all music and movies..??
omg i would dance like this only if i was absolutely sure i was completely alone. and what is with the guy? why are old movie heroes always in such a bad mood???
When madam was alive, I never liked her voice. And after she departed, I really came to know how good her voice was/is and how powerful singer she was. She simply has no comparison. No comparison at all.
people dont like this dont know why. youngsters like me like western music more. but if west will hear this song they will be amazed really. thumbs up. what a music !!!
The term "Tarrunum" may mean differently to different people..but here is an ultimate, sure and practical demonstration of the same ...from none other than the Malika herself.
And Anjuman, joyfully frolicking across the screen, looks stunning! Thanks mir ji for the post.Take care.
One of the most haunting melodies of the time. Lyrics are brought to life by the late Madam Noor Jehan. The world does not always value great talent but her contribution to the Urdu and Punjabi culture will remain unchallenged, though the muslim world will disagree as it does all things human.
thx mir963 i have searched the whole net but i didnt got this vid anywhere but i got this on youtube because of u and i love this song thx bro...........
Simply pure Pakistani atmosphere, its not doped with any other culture.... simply amazing.. everything is ours, simply love it. Its our visualization, purely Pakistani visuals...
Yeah totally Singh! LOL...It was so funny when Arnold opened the door in the bar and this is playin'..I totally cracked up.Hehe..Totally agree, great Old school tune!
During my early youth, i used to visit my grandfather's village during the summer break hoping to find something like this woman in the video. Needless to say, my dreams were never materilised and the closet encounter was the smell of cowdung of passerby women!
that was not the smell of passerby women but your own breath. now you know why even they didn't come close to you. who knew women in your grandfather's village had standards. sellout.
interesting analogy that lures me to ponder on the subject of halitosis that is so endemic and rife amongst all levels of the society. the person at the receiving end would have known the implications for suffering from this disorder you've picked one and i am sure there are many more. Think hard you may be able to guess what is that i am trying to tell you!this may start a chain reaction between your brain cells which will invariably increase your intellect to process subtle comments
very well said cheemachowk. These comments are meant to be taken lightly. It could be that someone might have found an anjuman like girl in his village, and someone else met a cowdung smelling woman.. But isn't that your village too (you said your grandpa's village)? Just curious as i study sociology...
I wouldnt say it was my village as I was born and bred in Lahore. However now that you've picked up this anomaly, and with the benefit hindsight, i could have used the term'ancestoral village' rather than using grand pa's village. Good luck with your sociology quest, its a very facinating subject although you may have found it boring initially. During my stint, i had a good go at sociology of deviance, once understood can give you good insight into Pakistan's criminal justice system
I wonder on your comments and can only say that although i dont fully get it, the disturbance must be deeply embeded in legacy of colonism or oppression of some sort that is hindering you to fully explore your thoughts and prejudices.
Not really, acquired talent and skills are at their best. This is just a part time hobby to ruffle a few feathers! and guess what it seems to work. So long!
are you talking in definitive terms or generalising beauty to Northern Punjab. In any case, I appreciate your efforts to bridge the gap between the fictional world of the Pak cinema and the real world. If taken purely for entertainment value millions of folks enjoyed peak time of the Pak film industry that is almost in tatters now.
Anjuman is from Multan-Bahawalpur area which is very much in South of Punjab and mostly Sariki. If you wonder who Anjuman is then she is the girl in this video.
Madam Khush raho! Who was the genius musician? LOL ny28tx!As Umar Shareef said, the field in which Anjuman jumped, would not grow any wheat for 6 years! (She is six feet tall)!!
