so do u think moving up was good for u? My largest comp so far is 3 ppl and i dont think its gona get much bigger then wat u had coz of my age, they wont put me with the younger kids which is where the real competition is :( its a stupid circle.
Yeah, I think it was. It took me about a year to get up-to-speed but I turned out ok in the end. It gave me something to work toward, I think (having to look as good as the other dancers on stage).
yeh i used to think i didnt deserve to be in novice coz i was pushed up because of being too old and only having little kids, Iv got tonnes more confidence and i think with the attention ive been getting from my teacher and all the travel i do il be ready for prem by the time it comes, i was even asking about going up early lol but thats just coz i dont have any competition in intermediate here
My intermediate year was torture... The largest competition I was in was out of like six people, and that was only one... The majority I was against like one or two others. I moved up to Prelim way early cause I passed my teacher exam, and that's a required bump.
i thought i would say that i dont think this is crap at all! i wouldnt of been able to do that good. i think its great ur going in championships and marking ur improvements by judges points etc. im in inters and will be prem nov next year and im so excited for prem even tho i too will be in adults as im already 18 almost 19, keep up the aws work and cant wait to see how u do next year :) ive already started work on the steps, ours are aws lol
Thanks! That's a lovely compliment. I hope next year goes well--I already have the 2010 steps in memory, so now just to fine-tune them. You'll do fine. There really isn't much difference between Intermediate and Premier. Don't worry if you feel "inadequate" when you first start in premier, that feeling will go away quickly when you realise you have just as much right to be on stage as a premier dancer as everyone else you're with!
loving the wingcuts!! i like that 2nd step. i just lose my balance way too easily lol. i saw that little slip-up. around 1:23 ish. great work anyway. i hate outside comps.
You always have the best background commentary in your videos...

@ItsCozImCoolLikeThat Best of luck with that, madame. That step nearly killed me on more than one occasion.
I think the highcuts are just about the only thing good about this video lol--but thanks!

Bahaha that was the worst of it. I was sooooo close to just falling over sideways.

I hate that 2nd step! It's so dizzy-ing! ANyways, don't be too hard on yourself- those extension highcuts were awesome!

And yet, it's still really really bad.
