@midatlanticcycle, yes there were 6 or 7 made with 6 cylinders I thought they were the first 6 made, but that is not correct, they were made through the year of 1955 but only 6 or 7 were made. Are you at interest at all to sell your #350 car?
This car is a 1954, 1955 looks exactly like the 54 except it has longer tailpipe extensions, and a capitol V in the CorVette emblems on the side fender. There were only approx 5000 of these cars built between 53-55, 1953-315, 1954-3640, 1955-700.

@anthonyforti you're exactly right on the production #'s except not all 55's had the gold V in the side script. only the v-8 jobs. i own VE55 #350.
