Congratulation to the new album! Tarja was good and beautiful, but i can only say, many thanks for Anette. Welcome Anette! Storytime together with Anette's voice is a number one song! Amaranth was the best song in past, but Storytime is much more better. So fast, many facets and refrain/chorus is so amazing. Also Last Ride, Rest Calm, I want my tears back and Turn Loose are so so nice. Best album ever! TY very much!

@lnknprkmetora1 Makes sense in theory. I always thought it would have been pretty hard to "master it" with the last album. It was written and recorded by a band that had NO SINGER and was likely in a pretty weird place emotionally. Then poor Annette, has to step in, replace not only a legend but a fricken OPERA SINGER. and squeeze her voice into material that was not written for her.
Many fans, judging by their comments, took none of this into consideration.

Here in chile, stupid music reigns cause all the media is always showing stupid music, there's no rock radios anymore, all chilean tv channels showing reggaeton, bachata and other crap...that's just the way it is at the bottom of the south hemisphere...sad

At least we can both agree that Nightwish are a phenomenal band. :P

@CriticsConfession Actually they had to bring it earlier to Europe because,when it was still planned to be released in January2012worldwide,Roadrunner told NW they should send the prepared album to US 2 months in advance,meaning it will hang somewhere there in RR warehouses/storages/wherever they keep new albums waiting for their hour.And there was a huge risk of album's leak.So these late American release dates aren't there becauseNWdon't value american fans, but because of the label's schedule

Go on and download the album as soon as you can but if you like it then you should buy it when it comes out in America.

@SymphonyOfSword2Swan At first I thought the same but on the other hand the 6min remaining part (judging from the song's description) ended up being quite bombastic in a way that it differs from the rest of the song and it can easily stand alone as an instrumental piece. It's also supposed to be heard during the end of credits of the movie so their decision to cut it makes sense ;)

I hate the fact that Tuomas decided to cut that 20 minute song into another 14 minute song. Fucken hate that, I know Tuomas said it was natural to change it, but Frick, a 20 minute monster song by nightwish? That would have been epic!
