This has always been my all time favorite song. Its melody is hauntingly beautiful, and cuts to the core. I was 23 when this song came out. The romanticism of this ballard is bittersweet and deeply touching to me. It holds significance to me and my life for many reasons. Its even my email addy. LOL Love this song, thanks for making such a sweet video to go along with it. Superbly done.

Daniel Grayling Fogelberg was born on August 13, 1951 in Peoria, State of Illinois U.S.A. and he passed away past December 16, 2007 in Deer Isle, State of Maine U.S.A. at the age of 57 years old., Fogelberg was a singer, songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist whose music was inspired by source as diverse as Folk, Pop, Rock, Classical, Jazz, and Bluegrass music. His double album "The Innocent Age" released in 1981 was his best work indeed. Dan Rest In Peace.

I live in the Magnolia State (MS), and got to see Dan debut this song on his solo acoustic tour in Jackson, MS in 1981. I was a junior in high school, and it was the first (and best) concert I've ever seen. R.I.P. Dan. You are sorely missed.
