  • what is the name of the song please please please answer??????!!!!!!!!!!

  • @raras889 VIVA LA VIDA - COLDPLAY

  • i think that it should be:

Jordyn Wieber- she's a very consistent all arounder

McKayla Maroney- i really think that she will surprise us this year and be a great all arounder

Aly Raisman- she isn't very good at bars but her floor and beam make up for it

Nastia Liukin- if she gets everything back she will be just as great as 2008

Shawn Johnson- same this as with nastia

    alternates:

    Kyla Ross-

Rebecca Bross- she is so inconsistent and watching her makes me extremely nervous

  • Jordyn Wieber

    Aly Raisman

    McKayla Maroney

    Shawn Johnson

    Nastia Liukin

Does anyone know if Shawn is training her amanar?

  • Nastia Liukin

    Jordyn Wieber

    Aly Raisman

    Shawn Johnson

    McKayla Moroney

    Chellsie Memmel

  • Why do people keep adding Nastia to the 2012 team? I don't see her making it to London seriously,

  • @Ricoblack2012 I believe its possible.

  • I think if Nastia can get her bars back she may have the possibility of getting on that team because the US is so weak on that event. There are enough all around gymnasts to take the roles on the other events.

  • As long as China doesn't pull that BULLSHIT like in 08!

  • totallllllly disagree. Jordyn for everything, mckayla for vault, aly for beam and floor, alecia for vault beam and floor and nastia for floor, beam and bars.

  • @gymnasts119 why do you think alicia will make the team.I dont see her coming back from that type of injuy so soon.

  • @Ricoblack2012 I agree. An NBC announcer once said that Aly and Alicia are each other's biggest competition, and it's so true. They are basically the same gymnast and there's not room on the team for 2 girls that can't do bars. Aly has done nothing but prove herself this quad, I think she's a lock.

  • I think that McKayla (FX VT) Shawn (FX BB, maybe VT) Rebecca (BB UB) Gabby (UB, maybe VT) Jordyn (AA) and Ally or Chellsie as an alternate (I hate to leave them out but only 5 places) would be a very strong team.

I'm not sure about Nastia cause she hasn't competed yet and Alicia cause I don't know how fast she' ll recover from her injury. If they both come back strong I can't guess who will make that team

  • I kinda doubt Wieber would perform on every apparatus. I also doubt Sacramone would be a major factor on the USA team. Maybe an alternate. But with her achillies tendon surgery, it usually takes a long time for it to be fully recovered.

  • Based on real ability and proven trackrecord(so far) rather than my own personal preferences.

    Wieber(VT,UB,BB,FX)

    Raisman(VT,BB,FX)

    Maroney(VT ,FX)

Bross(BB,UB)If she outperforms Maroney in prelims;I'd also have her on FX

contenders for the 5th spot:Douglas,Liukin,Sloan or Johnson.

    Would'nt be surprised if it's some new break-out talent.The US simply have too many great gymnasts! i don't think we're gonna see any 2008 veterans...but, I'm hopeful:P

  • I'd go with............. (too hard to tell! Even with 6 it was hard!)

1- Wieber (200% if she is not injured!!!)

2- Maroney (Will probably be there for her vaulting)

3- Johnson? (My biggest hope with this one, I love her soo much)

4- Bross (If she is not injured too..... seriously, we need her in the AA)

5- Ali Raisman or Alicia or even Nastia??? OMG. Can't believe this is my last spot! How will the commitee try to choose?! Or even Anna Li, Gabby Douglas for bars... -.- Lord oh lord.

  • As long as liukin is in there I'm happy

  • wouldn't count out anna li, she has more difficulty than liukin

  • Jordyn wieber will take the AA and Mckalya Moroney will take vault like she did at worlds !!

  • Oh god, 2012 is going to be epic

  • @xrictinagymnastics Totally agree! I can't even pick a team! Only 5 this time!

  • @cleicsioluek Yes, I can't guess who'll be there. I was so sad when I heared that there will be only 5 memebers for each team. I always thought they should make the teams bigger not smaller :(

  • @xrictinagymnastics Agreed :/

  • Wieber,Maroney,Liukin,Bross,Johnson

  • Wieber, Raisman, Liukin, Douglas/Bross, Sacramone/Maroney. Shawn will not make it.

  • @jyosefr

OMG you know that she not make it already then that mean you can see who is gonna make the team OMG all hail to @jyosefr who know everything. DON'T PUTTIN YOUR NEGATIVE ON SHAWN. YOU DON'T NOTHING

  • @ghostshell30 None of that made any sense. And the reason Shawn will not make it is because she doesn't have any strengths that the team needs. We need a great bars worker and that's where Nastia comes in.

  • I think a lot of people want Jordyn, Mckayla, Nastia and Shawn now its up to the others to fight for the last spot. I know that the team hasn't been chosen yet but that what I think will happen.

For the All-around I think it will be Jordyn and Shawn, once shawn has her moves back I think she will be a big contender for the All-around and i am rooting for her.

  • oh and rebecca bross

  • Shawn Johnson

    Nastia Liukin

    Mckayla Maroney

    Jordyn Weiber

    Alicia Sacramone

    Alexandria Raisman

  • My dream team is:

    Jordyn Wieber

    Shawn Johnson

    Nastia Liukin

    Alicia Sacramone

    Rebecca Bross

    Alternates:

    Aly Raisman

    Chellsie Memmel

    Mckayla Maroney

  • My team is: Alicia Sacramone, Jordyn Wieber, Rebecca Bross, Nastia Liukin, Mckayla Maroney. Alternates= 1st Shawn Johnson 2nd Aly Raisman 3rd Chellsie Memmel.

By the way, Mattie Larson retired from elite gymnastics..

  • as mentioned already, I doubt the chances of both nastia and shawn making full comebacks in time, but if it could happen.........Wieber, Sacramone, Liukin, Johnson, Maroney :D

  • NATSIA LUKiN and Shawn jhonson

  • @kkcampbell16 You want these two back right? Me too, but I don't think it will fit :S

  • Maroney

    Liukin

    Johnson

    Weiber

    Raisman

  • In my opinion:

    Alicia Sacramone

    Nastia Liukin

    Jordyn Wieber

    Rebecca Bross

    Alexandra Raisman or McKayla Maroney

  • jordyn wieber

    mckayla maroney

    alicia sacramone

    rbecca bross

aly raisman or nastia liukin (if she her bars are incredible like it use to be)

  • this is what i would love:

    Jordyn Wieber

    Aly Raisman

    McKayla Maroney

Alicia Sacramone or Rebecca Bross(idk if a comeback will happen for either)

and maybe one of the younger girls like Kyla Ross or Sabrina Vega

I really wish Katelyn Ohashi was old enough :(

everyone wants Shawn and Nastia but they each took off for at least a year and I think it would be really hard for them to come back after that

  • The second thought, as a matter of a fact A.Raisman has more chances of making the team than R.Bross at the moment. FX and BB are her strong cards. But only time will tell.

  • R. Bross needs a great effort to get back strong after the injury. So I believe in a 5 gymnasts' team format the remaining spots are still open for fresh seniors and nerw comers like Kyla Ross, S.Vega etc. As for A. Raisman I question her in the fiels of Olympic conternders for the team with Liukin and Johnson's comebacks. If the latter are not successful, she's in.

  • My opinion, these gymnast are great but

    A. Sacramone will hardly make it , the injury is a serious one

Sh. Johnson - to regain a proper Olympic form - a huge challange for her still, N. Liukin - bars and beam can successfully pull her into the team if she stays strong , focused and injureless in this preolympic season.. McKayla Maroney will be in the team , she's untouchable vaulter, J. Wieber will surely be in the team, very strong all arounder , she can help the team a lot. .

  • I think....

    Jordyn Wieber

    McKayla Maroney

    Rebecca Bross

    Nastia Liukin

    Alexandra Raisman or Alicia Sacramone

  • @gymnixx2012 That's exactly who I'd choose! :)

  • NASTIA LIUKIN.

  • I think Shawn Johnson , Mckayla Maroney, Jordyn Wieber , Rebecca Bross and Mackenzie Caquatto would be a great dream team.

You have Shawn as the most experienced and already competed at the olympics, Mckayla with her amazing vaulting, Jordyn world champ, Rebecca good bar and beam work, could go for all around and Mackenzie who can fulfill bars. Also Aly Raisman could fit into the team.

  • Rebecca Bross was at the last training camp and she looked really good and I think she will make it. She actually has more difficulty than wieber on three events. Nastia is the all around champ but i don't think she will make it because we have a lot of better girls who can fulfill bars like bross, douglas, and the caquatto sisters.

    Here is my team:

    Rebecca Bross(all arounder)

    Jordyn Wieber(all arounder)

    Kyla Ross

    Mckayla Maroney

Aly Raisman will probably make it. not a big fan of her form

  • And the 2012 team gold goes to the most epic American dream team of all-time:

    Jordyn Wieber

    McKayla Maroney

    Aly Raisman

    Nastia Liukin

    Shawn Johnson

  • @legalglitz I would trade Bross with Shawn and have Shawn as the alternate. It makes me sad to think Alicia won't be on the team :(

  • @legalglitz I'd put Rebecca Bross instead of Shawn Johnson and Alicia Sacramone instead of McKayla if her comeback is successful.

  • @legalglitz Substitute Shawn with Gabby.

  • @legalglitz take out Shawn and put Rebecca. You only have two people the could handle bars (Nastia and Jordyn) Shawn could, but Rebecca is much stronger than her on bars.

  • @legalglitz

I would replace Johnson by Bross, they'll need her bars.

  • The following are the gymnasts I think will make the strongest team for London:

Jordyn Wieber, McKayla Maroney, Kyla Ross, Aly Raisman and Gabby Douglas.

I had a hard time deciding which 5 gymnasts would be best out of the many talented ones this year. I do think Jordyn and McKayla will definitely make the team. I also think it's important for USA for have a strong bar worker, Gabby would fulfull that. Aly and Kyla are very consistent and have put up big scores on beam, vault and floor!

  • Shawn is my favorite always!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • At this point I believe that the following gymnasts will make the strongest team for the states:

Jordyn, Rebecca, Shawn, and Gabby. Thats only four gymnasts but they can cover do it

Vault: Gabby (if it is true that she now has a strong Amanar) Shawn (when she returns her Amanar) Jordyn (with her Amanar)

    Bars: Gabby Jordyn Rebecca

Beam: Jordyn Rebecca Shawn (with her projected new full difficulty)

    Floor: Jordyn Rebecca Shawn

  • I really just hope that Jordyn, Rebecca, Aly, and Mckayla are on the team. the last spot would be shawn/alicia/kyla. It is so hard becuase there is such incredible talent in the US this year. I wish they all could go. And i dont think Nastia is going to have enough time to come back. Maybe she will compete, but she definitely will not be ready. In 2009, she only had a double twist dismount off beam and that was only 1 year after the olympics.

  • I think it will be:

    Jordyn Wieber

    Mckayla Maroney

    Aly Raisman

    Shawn Johnson

    Alicia Sacramone.

  • @luv2perform210 I think Rebecca will either replce shawn or alicia but its extremely hard to tell now with both Alicia's and Rebecca's injury. but i head rebecca was already back in the gym

  • I would love the nastia-shawn comeback to happen, we all know Jordyn Wieer will be americas golden girl this year.

  • @AshaMcGuiness Bross won't be there. I can guarantee that. Shawn probably won't either.

  • @jyosefr No you can't guarantee that! Bross could make the Olympic team just for bars if needed! Not to mention, she had the highest floor score in 2010 and boasts some high beam scores! Her vault has been downhill since 2007...

  • Jordyn Wieber, VT, UB, BB, FX

    Aly Raisman, VT, BB, FX

    McKayla Maroney, VT, FX

    Nastia Liukin, UB, BB

    Gabrielle Douglas/Anna Li, UB

I have seen Nastia training and she is looking amazing already.

  • Things can change but I think this is a great olympic team.

    Gabrielle Douglas

    Nastia Liukin

    McKayla Maroney

    Aly Raisman

    Jordyn Wieber

  • @AshaMcGuiness yeah, she started way too late

  • My dream team for the 2012 Olympics would be Pavlova, Komova, Mustafina, Iordache, and Johnson. Maybe Zeng and Murakami as alternates? And Grishina too?

  • i think it should be jordyn, becca, aly, mckayla, and kyla...kyla's difficulty isnt super high but shes really really clean

  • aactually nastia competed in 2009

  • bross sucks...

  • But we don't know how long Nastia has been training...

  • in my opinion it should be:

    Jordyn Wieber

    McKayla Maroney

    Shawn Johnson

    Aly Raisman

possibly Rebecca Bross and Kyla Ross.

I really wish Katelyn Ohashi will be old enough :(

Alicia won't be back from her achilles surgery in time and Nastia won't have enough time

  • why do people always say a "maybe" for Alicia on beam... when she hits (which I know isn't often) she's one of the best.

  • I thinks its aly, jordyn, mckayla, and two good bar workers. Aly trumps alicia with good performances at worlds and her floor. If she can do amanar then I dnt think alicia will be healthy in time. I hope gabby makes it and rebecca

  • Nastia is back.

  • @paiges38 you my friend can suck it because Nastia has been training this year and she just announced that she is making a comeback!!! Nastia is the best and anyone who disagrees her AA Olympic GOLD medal begs to differ. @gymroks1 you're welcome(:

  • I have from top to bottom; Jordyn Wieber (she will be in AA contention), Alicia Sacramone, Alexandra Raisman, Mckayla Maroney, and Chellsie Memmel/Shawn Johnson/Nastia Liukin (if she comes back).

  • Rabecca has been through so much the past couple of years.. it is almost a copy of what Nastia's journey was like. She had a lot of injurys leading to the games and no one thought she could make. With Rabecca it's just one thing after another! I really hope she can come back strong and give good fight for a spot on the team.

  • Wieber AA

    Bross UB BB FL (VT)

Raisman VT BB FL (UB) (assuming she has her Aminar)

    Sacramone VT (BB FL)

And whomever puts up the best bars.

    Liukin or Li I'm guessing.

  • Chellsie Memmel!

  • sacramone, bross, ross, wieber,marroneyl.

  • mine wold be alicia sacramone, chellsie memel, jordyn wieber, aly raisman, and it would have been rebecca bross but most likely she wont come back in time so substitute her with ( i wish nastia but i understand why shes not giving it another go she dosent have he time anymore so whatever ) so mikayla maroney

  • @alliegymnast1 Actually Becca will be back in the gym in late November early December-ish and is expected to be at 100% for the 2012 season :) That was released by Valerie and her agent like a week or two after Visa's

  • @xoxPatriots83ily so shes gonna come back before the olympics?

  • @alliegymnast1 yep as long as something unexpected doesn't happen. She dislocated her knee cap so the injury wasn't as serious as it could have been, the biggest thing about it was that that knee was already weak. But yep if everything goes as planned she'll be back cometing next year :)

  • my team would be jordyn wieber, shawn johsnon, chelsie memmel, mckayla moroney, and either aly raisman or alicia sacramone.

  • nastia liukin? chelsie memell? where do they fall?

  • i think jordyn wieber can be used on all four events especially beam floor and vault. i think it should be jordyn wieber, chellsie memmel, alica sacramone, shawn johnson and the last should be mickayla maroney

  • @gymroks1 no way is nastia coming back. she's out of shape and just trying to build publicity.

  • I'd say McKayla Maroney has a huge chance to be the 5th person (depending on how she preforms at Worlds this year if she makes the team) because of her near perfect Amanar!!

  • what's the song here?

  • @SoOoYaM its the instrumental version of viva la vida

  • For those who have done gymnastics, does the guy that stands underneath the uneven bars actually help when someone falls? It seems to me, two people would end up getting hurt and they might be distracting.

  • @Sheerravenbliss they guy who stands under the bars is your coach. and yes it helps. they are able to catch you and help you to not fall as hard. and it isnt distracting.. its more comforting..and you feel safer especially when trying new skills.

  • i love shawn johnson, i love alicia sacramone, but i love nastia liukin too and shes not there...

  • Oh ok!!! That's cool! :) I didn't know that!

  • My dream team is Rebecca, Chellsie, Alicia, Jordyn, and Aly.

  • Why wasn't Mattie Larson at the 2011 Visa Championships?

  • @gymroks1 - she retired from elite and has gone collegite instead

  • @gymroks1 I heard something that she didnt feel up to it and shes hoping to have her drive back soon for 2012 but she's going to college to I'm sure

  • @gymroks1 idk if someones answered you but she wasnt because she messed up so bad at worlds and she would rather compete for ucla right now and maybe comeback for 2012

  • @gymroks1 After the disaster at 2010 worlds, Marta said she'll never put Mattie on the team again because she'd lost her trust. Mattie has since quite and entered Collegiate level gymnastics

  • @gymroks1 i think she went off to college. im pretty sure shes goin to ucla

  • @gymroks1 She chose to retire and focus on her college career.

  • @gymroks1 she decided to stop training elite and start college gymnastics. theres a chance she'll be back in 2012, its a matter of if she wants to or not.

  • @gymroks1 She "retired" and is doing collage gymnastics now.

  • @gymroks1 she's doing NCAA gymnastics now. I don't remember what college she's at though.

  • Their are so many people that are major contenders for the 2012 Olympics - Shawn Johnson, Jordyn Wieber, Mattie Larson, Bridget Slone, Alicia Sacramone, Alexandra Raisman, Mckayla Maroney, Gabrielle Douglas, Rabecca Bross, Chellsie Memmel, Mackenzie Caquatto and anyone else I am forgetting! These are not in order of how I would pick them and to be honest I couldn't do it! These are such strong gymnast, all of them. I don't know who will be on that 2012 team but whoever it is they will be great!

  • @twilitebug Sorry if this is disappointing, but Bross had a major knee injury at Visa. V. Liukin said it was doubtful she could recover in time.

  • @cheerdiver - Yes I know! It is disappointing but I think no matter what the USA will have a strong team! It is to bad she got injured but I think she was pushing the comeback! To be perfectly honest I love her determination and drive, but she isn't my personal favorite gymnast. I feel bad for her, her parents, her coach. WOW, THIS IS ALL CRAZINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • all Alicia Sacramone is gonna do is screw it up for the team again

  • @Ineedthat06 I'd rather see Sacramone screw up an awesome beam mount, than watch the lame ass chinese do simple leap mounts that don't even belong in the Olympic competition. Hell, even William & Mary had 2 gymnast mounting the beam w/ a front tuck at the Lindsay Ferris Inv(GWU) that year.

I found it quit insulting a third rate chink took the bronze away from Sacramone in vault, RECORDING A FALL IN DOING SO!

  • @cheerdiver The "third rate chink" is a three times world champion on vault and a champion on floor as well. Both her vaults were harder than Sacramone's and she did well on her first one. If Cheng Fei had stuck her vault like she did in qualifying she could have won that vault final because her first vault had the highest score in the final so she's not really third rate.

Personally I find it quite insulting that you can't spell quite.

  • @ParanoidAndroidDA a three times world champion on vault

Must be paying off those judges on a regular basis.

and what is a "quite"?!?! Sounds as though u made it up.

BTW, I don't care to spell correctly for those I don't respect.

  • @cheerdiver The vault she fell on was her own vault, it's called the Cheng in the CofP so clearly she is worthy of the international recognition she's achieved. I think you're disrespecting the whole sport to be honest by suggesting that judges can be bribed, it suggests other athletes are being judged unfairly as well.

  • So; if you happen to have a teacher of chinese descent; you would purposely make spelling-mistakes to show your lack of respect? Way to go! You'll go far in life, I'm sure!

  • @cheerdiver As someone of chinese descent: I find it quite insulting that, you have to resort to racial epitaphs just to prove your point? I see what you're trying to say but, many will only remember your racist"lame ass chinese" and "third rate chink"-comments. Try being nice, next time. People might not agree with you but, they will do so with respect. Now; you just come off as a lame ass, third rate racist. I don't think that's what you were going for.

  • Also McKayla Maroney has shown HUGE diffuculty and consistency in her routines? After Mattie's unfortunate world championships, who knows what Martha is thinking? :/

  • SAMANTHA PESZEK

  • I always enjoyed watching Chellsie Memmel but she always seems to be overlooked.

  • @ParanoidAndroidDA she's been doing a great job at National's this year and I can only hope she makes the team.

  • 1. Jordyn Wieber (AA)

    2. Rebecca Bross (AA)

    3. Shawn Johnson (AA)

    4. Mckayla Maroney (VT, FX)

    5.Gabrielle Douglas (UB,BB)

I don't know how many team members you can have but the 6th team member for me is Alicia Sacramone.

  • why is everyone forgetting Nastia Liukin, it is still possible that she could make a comeback. i think that she should be the fifth person not any of those people!

  • @gymroks1 you need to wake up from whatever dream you having. The Olympics are in less then a year and Nastia's not even training. She's not coming back, shes just not officially it yet because she likes the attention

  • @paiges38 *officially announcing*

  • @paiges38 you have your opinion and I have mine, while it is highly unlikely that she will come back it is still possible. we can agree to disagree!!

  • @gymroks1 as much as I'd like Nastia to be back (and we could def use her help on bars) I don't think she is. If she was she would have been competing at visa championships with Shawn, Chellsie, Asac and all the other "combacks". There's not enough time.

Anyway my dream team would be: Weiber, Asac/Rasiman, Bross, Johnson, Memmell. Damn the 5 member team rule!!

  • @gymroks1 As of Visa's this year, she still has not attempted any sort of comeback. The possibility of her getting back into olympic shape in a little under a year is unlikely, but I'll give it to you it isn't impossible.

  • @gymroks1 well seriously... like how much better can she do than last time?????? she CANT. so its dumb for he rto go back.

  • @hopesrovner i completely agree!!! there really isn't a reason for her to comeback, but apparently she doesn't agree with that because she still thinks she has time to decide according to what she said at the 2011 Visa Championships.

  • @gymroks1 you honestly think after 3 yrs of being gone, she could be in olympic shape in less than a year? maybe if she only did bars. that's where America's weak right now.

  • @LMA629 - I'm pretty sure out of shape for Nastia on bars is probably better than the above girls in shape on bars.

  • @legalglitz haha :)

  • @gymroks1 she would have been trying harder sooner… if she comes back it should be interesting and a good thing as she tends to be super consistent

  • @gymroks1 umm, I think not. She looks completely outta shape and she has not even competed this season. It would be a miracle for her to even be considered..

  • @gymroks1 i know someone at woga and they said she like never in the gym and when she is its to coach the elites and she keeps saying theres a possiblity for publicity so she doesnt fade out

  • @gymroks1 Don't think so. She's out of shape and out of the gym for too long. It'll be a miracle if she could get back in shape (for Olympic standards), re-learn all her old skills and add new ones all before the spring competitions arrive.

  • @gymroks1 In a year? I don't think so. HOWEVEEEEERRRRR the United States is SOOOOO weak on bars that if she swooped in with a top notch bars set who knows but......Anna Li I think could pick up the slack there.

  • @gymroks1 Realisticly, she hasnt' seriously trainined gymnastics since mid-2009. And there's less than a year to the Olympics....

  • @gymroks1 I dont thing Nastia will be making a run for the 2012 team. We are less then a year out and she never announced anything, nor is she in the gym training seriouosly. Also, I dont think Marta would put someone (even Nastia) on a Olympic team after being off the seen for years. She would have no international competiton time. She would go covergirl classic, visas, trials, and a few camps. Thats it. I just dont see it happening.

  • @gymroks1 She's not coming back through

  • 1. Jordyn Weiber (AA)

    2. Rebecca Bross (AA)

    3. Shawn Johnson (AA)

    4. Alicia Sacramone (V,BB,FX)

    5. Aly Raisman (V,BB,FX)

    6. Anna Li/Chellsie Memmel (UB)

  • @agd231 i agree with you that should be the team lol lets see if you guessed write in 2010 :)

  • For bars: Bridgette Caquato has a 6.5. Anna Li has a 6.2 but she's still upgrading and has a toe-on full+Van Leeuwen and a hop full+Shushunova that aren't in her routine!

  • I'd watch out for kytra hunter, she's got a lot of big skills. All depends on who stays healthy and what vets come back.

  • @jaynesce I believe she retired from elite.

  • Either way, if our girls are going to ever win a Team Gold again, they need Veterans on the team! Look at 96', they had Shannon, Dawes, Strug who all were in the 92' Olympics, Amanda competed in the 92' Trials...I feel thats why our team has come up short the past 3 Olympics, because there is not one person who continued on after one Olympics to the other. We need to have someone carry the torch!LOL We need Alicia, Shawn, and maybe Nastia if she can decide if she's making the come back or not!

  • The 5th person to me would be Mattie. Just look: you picked some gymnasts that are strong on vault (Sacramone), beam (Shawn), bars (Rebecca)... but none of them are good enough to get a high score on floor (except for Shawn, but we don't know if she'll be back doing what she did on 2008). So, Mattie is strong enough in my opinion. If the 5th person would be an all-arounder, certainly Bridget. She made everybody know that she's capable, on 2009 Worlds :)

  • 1- Jordyn Wieber (all four)

    2-Rebecca Bross (all four)

    3- Aly Raisman (bb,fx,vt)

    4-Alicia Sacramone (bb, fx, vt)

5-Mckayla Maroney (vt definitely, but the way she's upgrading, i bet any of the 4)

  • You're right but I heard Alicia might be planning a new floor routine.

  • What, no love for Macko? Or has she already said she's not pursuing it, just being a Gator?

  • @daboochmeister Nope she is going for it! I think she has a good chance because bars is her strong point and USA's weak there!!

    My team would be:

    1) Jordyn Weiber (AA)

    2) Alicia Sacramone (Vault, Beam, Maybe floor)

    3) McKayla Maroney (Vault and Floor)

    4) Mackenzie Caquatto (Bars)

    5) Shawn Johnson (AA depending on her comeback) or Chellsie Memmell (Bars and Beam) or Rebecca Bross (AA, depending on her knee)

  • @Manutdcailin Love this, but I'd have my fifth between Rebecca Bross, Aly Raisman, and Bridget Sloan. Bridget could compete a very pretty and consistent all around if she's healthy, Aly has a possibility of a floor medal, and Bross is generally a rock of a competitor, but she might not be healthy enough.

  • agredd with most your picks, mine would probably be

    1) alicia sacramone (beam, vault)

    2) rebecca bross ( any four events)

    3) jordyn wieber ( any four events as well)

    4) bridget sloan ( beam, bars, or floor)

    5) and for the last spot i would either put shawn johnson depending on if she could make worlds, or alexandra raisman.

  • I completely agree with you...

    Now let's hope Martha does!!
