My friend who did GCSE'S last year got all C and his mates got all A* and A's. Everyone made fun of my friend. However after that day on he worked his ass off and now his A level results he got three A* and one A. and his friends hardly got B's. This clearly shows you that everyone is the same, don't think your dumb and cant do the same work. It's actually about who works hard. So if you are someone who doing their GCSE'S then work your socks off, it will pay off!

But I was just wondering something....Can anyone tell me if there is any equivalence to GCSES? For ex...I heard that if you get a adult literacy level 2 certificate is equivalent to a GCSE in Enlgish...True or false?!
What about level 1 qualifications? Do they count? Like...If they are worth points which can be added to make a C in GCSES?
@fernandogeorge Level one qualifications do not count as a gcse; level two however I believe is equivalent to a watered down version of the GCSE. I did it myself in year 9 and got 92% that was the level 2 qualification I think. :)

No one does care about citizenship lol im doing my GCSE's and saw ppl slepping or just not bothering to write during the exams there all going to get E's and U come results day. Even if it isnt the most important subjects its still an E or U on you GCSE slip theres no getting around it right? It was a long exam but i tried hard finished the paper with only a few secs to spare and could do everything so me getting an A* in it is almost certain. Even if it isnt important its just another A* right?
It's like General Studies really. Like our school, no one cares about it, I didn't go to a single lesson and came out with a C but apparently the more candidates schools get for the subject the more money they get.
