  • Does any1 know the list of song they used in this POP? Very nice music n top nitch drill!

  • Thanks for uploading this and others. Very good memories for me. Passing out in May 1970 !

  • @Edwardjsa

因為HKPF係用 British Army Drill Manual, march pass整係Eyes Right!

  • exlent,

    everything clear & polish

  • Impressive!

  • TOP NOTCH DRILL!!!!!

  • Do Hong Kong personnel still use British Drill including words of command in English ? If so that is extraordinary and a remarkable reflection on the Chinese people.

  • Drills ToP Notch!

To who he knows the words of the song, it is funny to watch this video. The song sings like this "the revolutionary troop lead Chairman Mao..."

  • To me, it is just a passing out of security guards only. Where is the 16 pound rifle 303. Drill is not a drill without it. Even Customs still drill with their own rifle. What the hell is the CP thinking. I still remember our days in 1981.

    Anyway, congratulations!!!

  • do they have clickers on their boots..?

  • Excuse me!! Can you tell me what is the name of the music that started from 2:29 ?

  • becuase HK was part of the Union Jack's rule until 1995...

  • Noo 1997

  • I take my hats off u people!!! That's AWESOME!!! Even better than my country's armed forces drills...

  • British foot drill!

  • I was part of this POP (Passing Out Parade) and I can tell you being on the parade, after foot drill exercise under the hottest sun, coldest wind, pouring rain and extreme tireness, it's all worth it, man it's all worth it to be part of the Parade in front of your family and friends.

Being a Police officer is awesome already, but being part of the POP makes you realize how proud you should be of yourself and the Police Force.

  • I am looking at the famous 'Tear Track'on the ground.

Good work and all the best to hong kong police and Hong Kong

  • No rifle... Joins the Chinese style military music. I suggest change the oral command to chinese.

  • freaking awsome

  • The marching music was terrible you can beat some good old British tunes

  • dude, the music was not terrible as u said...

  • It was different, I hate to agree with this overally patriotic guy above but I really don't think it sounds that good not like the older tunes I watched in the parades before 1997.

  • where are the crying bagpipes??????????

  • The English-type step holds.Pitiful is the Chinese style military music,Before the return cannot occur

  • What is the name of the music by Brass and Pipe ?

    I always heard that song...very good !

can u type the name in chinese ? THXXXX !!!

Music is good, the words are very political. It praise Chairman Mao and the Communist Party of China who lead the people. It is amazing to hear the song is played in HK soil.

  • hong kong should of been part of Brits...

  • The tune that starts at about 3.00 is the pipe tune "The Barren Rocks of Aden." Sorry, can't type the name in Chinese!
