Very interesting! This is the first time I get to hear a strong player analyze a game. It's intriguing listening to the way they think, what's going on inside their heads.
Can someone help out a poor 15-kyu who doesn't understand intermediate ideas?
At 0:20, Alexander says that White is behind on territory, which I see. But if he's behind, wouldn't he want to invade at san-san to build some solid territory. The ikken tobi sounds like a plan to build influence, not to gain territory. Thanks!
If he plays the 3-3, then there is no fight. White needs stress black to come back in territory and he does that by starting a fight which is helped by the wall on the right.
The concept you have about influence-territory is not totally correct, otherwise we would always play the 3-3.
Yeah, attacking is a way to get your opponent to play not-so-useful moves (i.e., moves purely or mostly defensive in nature) while you play useful ones (moves that secure territory or establish influence in important places, while threatening capture).
Since in Go you're taking turns, it's all a matter of who plays moves that are more efficient, or valuable, overall. That's what Alexander means at the end of this video by pointing out his wall is not useful: he's played useless (dame) moves.
Does a Pro Player review the Kifu before doing a review like this, if so how long?

if you found some way to keep white's framework at 3:25 from working, then you would probably have more territory.
