@theillustriouspoteni We are working hard on them. It takes a considerable time to video them and then do the editing for placement on the APP. Please have patience with us and we will be there soon.
@theillustriouspoteni you're physical fitness is a big deal when trying to improve your vertical. It definitely helps to be lean and not carry a lot of extra weight. If you think about it, you have to get all of your weight up in the air and that will require more force if you're heavier. When you start using our program, you'll probably start to get leaner just by working out hard. We suggest a healthy diet with lots of lean proteins and complex carbs.
I'm 5'11 and can touch about 7'9 standing, and if I stretch for a while, I can touch rim. Do you think that I could ever improve my vertical a whole foot to eleven feet?
@theillustriouspoteni It's impossible for us to know because everyone is different. Increasing to your potential vertical is mostly about your genetics, your level of fitness, and your work ethic for the program. If you work hard at it, we can almost guarantee that you will gain, but if anyone guarantees you specific results, they are not being honest with you. That said, we've heard tons of success stories from our program and stand behind it only.
@SuperBigone99 it WILL work if you put in the hard work. You have to go the extra mile to unlock your potential. This program is simply the recipe book!
@itsMUSICY these are all body weight exercises, so you should be just fine. If you're worried about it, consult your doctor. The foam rolling is probably one of the MOST important parts of the whole program.
@itsMUSICY Watch our First Vertical video. It tells you exactly why it is so important. It is something you have to do on a regular basis to remove muscle adhesions and develop good flexibility. If you blow it off, you'll GREATLY impair your results.
@itsMUSICY The foam rolling is extremely important to improving your vertical!!!!!! It needs to be ongoing to be effective. Our players use these every day before practice.
Coach what should i do when im done training for those whole 3 months what should i do. Are you guys making a new video. Are you guys almost done with it. Thank you Coach.
I'm 5'4 (13 years) and i want to increase my vertical. If i do this every day during the summer ( 3 months) how many inches will i be able to increase my vertical?
@TheMarko1404 We have absolutely no idea how much you can improve your vertical because we have no way of knowing your commitment. We do know this however, if you use our Vertical Jump Handbook Program your vertical and follow it religiously, your vertical will increase. We have had reports of 3-5" in three months typically and one that was 10".
@HardWorkPays0ff yes, but the training only helps. Many people have made a big gain just because of the added flexibility. The dynamic stretches and foam rolling make a HUGE difference.
@munchiesformoney the dot drills can be found in the links in the description of the vertical jump videos. The lying foot circles are just like the lying leg circles, but swivel from the ankle instead of the hip. Let us know which ones you need more info on.
Hey there Team. Nicely done on the tip-mass vids. They're great so far.
I'm currently in day 9 of my program and working like hell on it. I'm wondering - Once graduated - What plan will i follow on power and will i need to keep doing all the workouts I'm currently doing? Basically - where do I go once done with this plan?
@nonmortusest it's good to take a couple of weeks off of the training and then start up again and increase the reps to give you the proper resistance. We're working on putting out more exercises soon, so keep an eye out for those!
Hey there guys. I been training and finally bought your program. I'm wondering, how can I write on the pdf to actually use the program and have my training safe and saved?
I will be printing it out too so i can carry the papers with me to the court and do drills but papers aren't safe. they get thorn and wet.
@nonmortusest Well, we have no other way to help you on this one at this time. We are working on development of a lot of new features after the first of the year. Stay tuned and check them out and get that vertical going today!
I am thinking of getting it, but do I need to lose some fats first? I have a belly and man boobs, but only 58 kg. And also, does it involve upper-body strength? If it does, I might get started right away.
@KiWiDingDong The focus in this program is the legs and core muscles which are key to your jumping. The program is also really good for sliming down and developing your vertical.
You've answered ALL my questions except, I don't have the money for a foamroller and can't male one or anything. Can I use something else? AND will the program still be effective, if so, how effective. Not sure if you cam answer that but, Thanks!
@JustCallMeHonda Yes, we will answer your question. You can use a tennis ball, baseball, or a section of 2" pipe. All will work well and be effective. Remember, this is one of the crucial exercises in this program.
Sorry for all the comments, but here's my last one. Clearing up my last comment, the handbook says for "Development Stage 1 (Weeks 1&2) "Dynamic stretches, Basic Stability, Activation and Functional Strength, Foam Rolling, Interval Aerobic Training, Dynamic Stretches, Basic Stability, and Dot Drills" all in a vertical line. Do I do ALL of those excercises listed for Monday, Wednesday and Friday? Because then it moves to a new set of stuff, and after that is weeks 3&4. So idk what's week 1 and 2.
Hey @ShotScience, I JUST bought this manual and have some questions. I see the excercises and stretches and everything, but do I have to do EVERYTHING where it says Monday? It says Monda, Wednesday, Friday. Then below it it has a few categories qith stretches, exercises etc... But do I do every single exercise on that vertical list for Monday until I hit the next week? I don't understand when to do the list of exercises. And is there a substitute for the foam roller? Can I use a rolled up towel?
@JustCallMeHonda It will really help to go back to the introductory information at the beginning of the Handbook to better understand how to do this program. Our Vertical Jump videos will offer more information on some of the drills as well.
Hey @ShotScience, I am probably gonna buy this manual and btw, thanks for making it only 5 bucks. But I don't exactly have access to a gym so will I need to do squats or anything with weights or accessories? I guess what I'm saying is, will I need to own any equipment? If so, could you tell me what? Thanks a bunch!
@JustCallMeHonda some of the exercises you may be able to substitute another exercise for it if you do not have the equipment. For example, the Plyo jumps can be done on stairs.
@ThanksForLosing It is essentially as 6 day a week program. There are some days where you will need to work really hard and others where the exercises are less strenuous. If you do start the program, be sure to follow it exactly and really stress the "Foam Rolling."
Thank you for your replies. Yeah I was asking for a link on the official website. Np, ill do them from youtube then after buying the handbook.
Also , you might've missed answering this bit for me - I'm 24 years old. 6'3ft , and weigh about 90kg and have never managed to dunk. my vertical use to be better but i can only touch the ring with my finger tips. Will this help me easily dunk for I should have a much higher jump for my height.
@nonmortusest This Vertical Jump Program should make it possible for you to dunk the ball if you follow the program as it is called out in the Handbook. It takes really hard work.
@nonmortusest Sorry for the delay in responding. Sometimes the questions get flagged for some unknown reason. We know that if you follow the program as specified you will gain in your vertical and at 6'3" you should be able to dunk the ball and then some. It is all about hard work and staying with the program, especially the FOAM ROLLING. This may be the most important exercise of all!!!!
I also work with weights daily doing isolation weight training daily attacking different muscles everyday - will I be able to continue this while doing your program? or will It be too much for my body?
What I m asking is, is it likely that my body it too tired after weights to do your workout too? cos im usually exhausted after weights.
Also - since the program came out over a year ago - are there any new updates or new manuals that need to be followed after this one?
@nonmortusest Probably too much to try to do both. We suggest one or the other, even though the stretching and foam rolling will really help if you choose to do the weight training. This program is up to date. We expect to make some minor changes, but not until next year.
I'm 24 years old. 6'3ft , and weigh about 90kg and have never managed to dunk. my vertical use to be better but i can only touch the ring with my finger tips. Will this help me easily dunk for I should have a much higher jump for my height.
Also - I would like links to all the vids in the jumping manual as the new site has been a work in progress for a while now and I dont know which is the official site.
@nonmortusest You can find all of the videos and the Vertical Jump Handbook on our You Tube Channel. It has been functioning fine for a long time. We merely add to it
@SuperBasketballrox There is no possible way that we can tell you that you can dunk at your height! However, if you want to jump higher and become really explosive, do the Vertical Jump Program.
@BADS3RB We are not into telling you that you can make crazy gains in a few weeks. In reality, we have had players report 3-5 inches in 12 weeks and a couple who gained as much as 10" in 12 weeks. It really is different for each person based upon their work ethic mostly. You will make gains, but to predict how much is not something that we do to sell you on our jump program.
@luner101 Essentially just the time. Of course you'll need some space to perform the exercises, but that really shouldn't be a problem. There are several items you may need, such as a foam roller, a jump rope, and a plyo box, but you can make due with found items as substitutes. Hope this helps!
@TheKobe24Jordan23 This is possible, but we do not make any "Outrageous claims." The deciding factor is what you do with the program to reach your goals.
@skillas39 We make you no promises except you will make gains with our program if you work really hard and follow the handbook schedule. How much, we do not know because we do not know you or your work ethic. Good luck and keep us posted on your progress.
@luner101 it's a download! With 30 pages, we tried to make it as affordable as possible for you and us by making it a PDF file. No shipping involved!!
How do I know this is a legit program? Don't take this question the wrong way, I have respect for your videos and all but there are so many vertical workout programs on the internet these days and most are scams to take your money. I want to trust you and your program but I would like to have some kind of proof so I know my money is going to good use.
@RazorbackManiac well, we've put out two long videos outlining our program, Chase is a certified clinical physiologist, and we have hundreds of testimonials from people using the program (in our video comments and on facebook). Not to mention, we made our program the most affordable out there. It's only 5 bucks (most others are at least 10x more) and gives you three months of daily workouts.
If it's not what you're looking for, that's okay, but we feel like we're pretty reputable.
i turned 13 in may im in grade 7 everytime i try and dunk on 10 feet i hit the backrim. i cant seem to get anyhigher. but i still have atheticism over my age group by far. and height im 6'1
@AfroNinjaDunker Maybe you need to get into our Vertical Jump Program. It really works! If you want info on it check out Shotscience YT Channel for the Handbook. It includes a 12 week complete program.
@coopmane100 The link for our Vertical Jump Handbook is: This is a tool that will help you get the work done that you want to happen. It is a three month program of daily workouts for your jump. Check it out.
@ShotScience i don't have the means to buy the program so would you tell me pls if my workout for my vert is okay? i mainly do heavy squats and explosive half squats, box squats, some cleans, box jumps and jump agressively every time in the rebounds-layups and also i go and dunk to 9 feet baskets using it as plyos
so im at about 29-31 inches of vert without an aproach (2 legs on the ground) and 34-35 off a running start (im 5,56 ft tall and im 16) im hoping to get to 41 running, any help?
@alejandrothefader We aren't fans of the heavy weights. Check out the exercises and the general approach we explain in our vertical videos. Probably the most overlooked and important aspect of jumping is flexibility. Also, the mind-muscle connections are a must!
@ShotScience okay, gonna check the vertical jump prog... thanks... flexibility and mind-muscle connection.... it sounds that i lack that one ;) XD thank you again for your timely and never-tired-to-answer responses
@ShotScience ;) you re very kind to do so, but as i saw the vertical jump program although very promising is not free.. i totally respect that but im not in the position of being able to purchase it from the internet, so it'll have to wait for now :/
@ShotScience btw, i also do upper body a lot (bench, incline bench, weights for the arms (tri's bi's and military press for theshoulders, dips, chin ups-muscle ups whatever possible for of pushups except planche lol etc) and i find it helps me with my overall body power and im not taking any supplements yet... any recommendations for my program to become more bball-helpful and that it may give me more athletical capability-explosiveness are apreciated! thx
@DINOOO09232445 Well 42" is a phenomenal elevation for anyone. It sounds like you just need to work on the dunk to develop your style. Everyone is a little different. Often players who a shorter have smaller hands and find it difficult to control the ball on the dunk. There are no special formulas for helping you get down except to practice, practice and practice it some more!
Hey @ShotScience im am 14 years old and 6'2 and i wanna be able to dunk on a 10 foot rim by summer 2012 for my Recreational Basketball team i have some pretty good Hops but i cant dunk on a 10 foot rim. WHAT SHOULD I DO??
@MrRicksolo Well Mr. Rick, at 6'2" you are right there if you have the good hops you speak of. Often the problem for players and their dunking is because they take loooong strides as they approach the basket for the dunk and their power turns into horizontal explosion and not vertical. If this is your problem shorten strides as you get ready to jump and you can focus your power into more vertical instead of horizontal power.
@ShotScience Thanks, but even though i have some good hops i needed get higher i have long arms but it cant help if i cant get high enough.and how high must the ball be when dunking?
@ritzkuro We have absolutely no way of knowing what you can do! We have seen a number of guys with great hops who can dunk at 5'9" or 5'10", but not at 5'4". Possibly you will grow and become able to dunk, but we cannot predict this in any way. Sorry.
@ShotScience I bought this program for a friend as a present he has a jumps 3.5 inchs higher and its only been a week and a bit! Can you please make a video on the how to run up to the rim for maxium vertical every time you do go to the rim and foot work drills you can do to make that happen every time.
@ssshano24 this might be something that we can do down the road. In the mean time, check out the videos we posted on Layups. We put footwork into those that should be helpful!
@ShotScience Alright here's another question. Do I have to do all the exercises in the same day all at once? Can I do them throughout the day? What is preferred? And do I have to do them in order?
@TurdMountain it's best to do all of the exercises in one go and to limit the amount of rest between sets. If you need to break things up, you should look to do it by category in the Handbook. You don't want to push things to the next day because there is training routines for each day and Sunday is a rest day. Following the Handbook is really the way to go to make the best gains.
@ShotScience Alright thanks for the answers. My final question is, when is the best time to drink protein shakes? And how many times should I drink it a day? When I wake up? Post-workout?
@TurdMountain it's actually better to have a very balanced diet where you eat consistent meals 5-6 times over the course of the day. Protein shakes are supplementary to that type of routine and are best consumed right after you workout. A little before is okay as well, but the most important approach would be to have a VERY healthy diet of lean proteins (chicken, fish, etc) and complex carbohydrates. The shakes are NOT the magic bullet.
I'm intrigued. I've been itching to play ball lately. I'm 28, 6ft3 and I play like a 4. My effectiveness is limited by my stamina and my 24 inches of SLOW hops! Will this program put life back into my aging legs?
@najirban: We certainly believe that it will help those aging legs, however 28? That's not aged.l. One note that we found after working with our students using this program is that they became much more explosive as well as increasing their vertical.\ and agility.
Hey, I've read the introduction and watched the videos on the channel but I still have a few questions. For some exercises like Knee Hug, the program says to perform 2X8. Does that mean 8 for both in one set or 8 reps for each leg? Secondly, can the foam rolling be done at the beginning? What is the different between Lying Foot Circle and Lying Leg Circle? For the Lunges do we do shallow or deep? Also, what about the rest intervals between exercises and sets?
@DundrMifflin: This means 2 sets of 8 reps for each leg. Yes, on the foam rolling, but it is more effective after per the handbook schedule. The lying leg circles are done lying on on hip with leg extended out and rotating the leg in a circle. The foot circles are executed the same way, but only the foot is rotated at the ankle. It is good to use one minute between exercises, but longer is o.k. especially early on when fatigue may be a problem for you.
@ShotScience Sorry about all the annoying questions but this will be the last one. For the interval aerobic training, does it have to be directly after the foam rolling or can i do it like 10 minutes later? There are no areas to run or an indoor court so I have to walk for about 10 minutes.
@DundrMifflin This is not a problem. Just try to get it done pretty soon after the work-out to release those muscle tissues. It feels really great after you do the rolling , right?
I get it they let me i am so happy :D today i did my first day excersises :Di got 2 questions! What are off days weekend or they when you do not work?and when you need to do developement stage?in days when you do not do daily workout?Thank you so much for this professionall workout,i belive if i work hard i can reach rim even if i am 5 foot 7 inches 14 years old,55 kg..Now i can touch half net what do you think can i reach it..I bet that i can and i will work hard! And this foam rolling is awesome
@TheLebron6: You are on your way. When you have questions refer to the introduction at the beginning of the Handbook and also the two Vertical Jump Videos on our channel.
@davidkisiel23: Take a piece of chalk, pen or pencil in your fingers and stand next to a tall wall. Jump up and mark the wall at the highest point that you can reach. Do this several times to establish a good mark. As you progress in your jumping do this again and measure the difference between the lines and that represents your gain.
@TheLebron6 the store we use doesn't have that as an option, sorry! It will take credit card, Google Checkout, and PayPal. If you're still having trouble, send us a message.
@ShotScience yes i have and i can not download it by using visa and those credit cards.....cuz my parents does not want to give it to me....can you find site with that option and give us other link..I am sure that you would get much more downloads...
@TheLebron6 sorry, but this is the only one we can set up at the moment. Maybe explain to your parents that this is a fitness routine that is beneficial to your health because it is more than
This is like learning how to use the force
sorry but the music took me away

ShotScience 4 months ago
@nonmortusest Sorry for the delay in responding. Sometimes the questions get flagged for some unknown reason. We know that if you follow the program as specified you will gain in your vertical and at 6'3" you should be able to dunk the ball and then some. It is all about hard work and staying with the program, especially the FOAM ROLLING. This may be the most important exercise of all!!!!
ShotScience 3 months ago
I also work with weights daily doing isolation weight training daily attacking different muscles everyday - will I be able to continue this while doing your program? or will It be too much for my body?
What I m asking is, is it likely that my body it too tired after weights to do your workout too? cos im usually exhausted after weights.
Also - since the program came out over a year ago - are there any new updates or new manuals that need to be followed after this one?
nonmortusest 4 months ago
@nonmortusest Probably too much to try to do both. We suggest one or the other, even though the stretching and foam rolling will really help if you choose to do the weight training. This program is up to date. We expect to make some minor changes, but not until next year.
ShotScience 4 months ago
Hey there.
I'm 24 years old. 6'3ft , and weigh about 90kg and have never managed to dunk. my vertical use to be better but i can only touch the ring with my finger tips. Will this help me easily dunk for I should have a much higher jump for my height.
Also - I would like links to all the vids in the jumping manual as the new site has been a work in progress for a while now and I dont know which is the official site.
nonmortusest 4 months ago
@nonmortusest You can find all of the videos and the Vertical Jump Handbook on our You Tube Channel. It has been functioning fine for a long time. We merely add to it

im 6'4 and i can grab the ring but i cannot dunk yet. How long will it take me to get those extra inches ?
BADS3RB 5 months ago
@BADS3RB We are not into telling you that you can make crazy gains in a few weeks. In reality, we have had players report 3-5 inches in 12 weeks and a couple who gained as much as 10" in 12 weeks. It really is different for each person based upon their work ethic mostly. You will make gains, but to predict how much is not something that we do to sell you on our jump program.
ShotScience 5 months ago
is this handbook for adults only? like can it damage body muscles in younger people?
Therios45 6 months ago
@Therios45 It will not damage any musculature, but it may be a little intense for those under 12. If done correctly it is very tiring.
ShotScience 6 months ago
hello what do i need to make this work? a gym etc
luner101 6 months ago
@luner101 Essentially just the time. Of course you'll need some space to perform the exercises, but that really shouldn't be a problem. There are several items you may need, such as a foam roller, a jump rope, and a plyo box, but you can make due with found items as substitutes. Hope this helps!

TheKobe24Jordan23 6 months ago
@TheKobe24Jordan23 This is possible, but we do not make any "Outrageous claims." The deciding factor is what you do with the program to reach your goals.

How do I know this is a legit program? Don't take this question the wrong way, I have respect for your videos and all but there are so many vertical workout programs on the internet these days and most are scams to take your money. I want to trust you and your program but I would like to have some kind of proof so I know my money is going to good use.
RazorbackManiac 6 months ago
@RazorbackManiac well, we've put out two long videos outlining our program, Chase is a certified clinical physiologist, and we have hundreds of testimonials from people using the program (in our video comments and on facebook). Not to mention, we made our program the most affordable out there. It's only 5 bucks (most others are at least 10x more) and gives you three months of daily workouts.
If it's not what you're looking for, that's okay, but we feel like we're pretty reputable.

so im at about 29-31 inches of vert without an aproach (2 legs on the ground) and 34-35 off a running start (im 5,56 ft tall and im 16) im hoping to get to 41 running, any help?
alejandrothefader 6 months ago
@alejandrothefader We aren't fans of the heavy weights. Check out the exercises and the general approach we explain in our vertical videos. Probably the most overlooked and important aspect of jumping is flexibility. Also, the mind-muscle connections are a must!
ShotScience 6 months ago

i'm 16 and 5'7. i have a vertical of 42 and i can dunk only easy dunk. Can you help me how i can dunk higher?
DINOOO09232445 7 months ago
@DINOOO09232445 Well 42" is a phenomenal elevation for anyone. It sounds like you just need to work on the dunk to develop your style. Everyone is a little different. Often players who a shorter have smaller hands and find it difficult to control the ball on the dunk. There are no special formulas for helping you get down except to practice, practice and practice it some more!
ShotScience 7 months ago
@ShotScience Thank you so much. That's right, I have small hands but practice is the right word. Thanks a lot.

MrRicksolo 7 months ago
@MrRicksolo Well Mr. Rick, at 6'2" you are right there if you have the good hops you speak of. Often the problem for players and their dunking is because they take loooong strides as they approach the basket for the dunk and their power turns into horizontal explosion and not vertical. If this is your problem shorten strides as you get ready to jump and you can focus your power into more vertical instead of horizontal power.
ShotScience 7 months ago
@ShotScience Thanks, but even though i have some good hops i needed get higher i have long arms but it cant help if i cant get high enough.and how high must the ball be when dunking?
MrRicksolo 7 months ago
@MrRicksolo Typically, you need for your hand to be completely above the rim to dunk the ball easily.
ShotScience 7 months ago
@ShotScience Thank you so much your alot of help
MrRicksolo 7 months ago
@MrRicksolo That is our intention. We want to help all players who ask for our assistance.
ShotScience 7 months ago
@ShotScience Thank you you great but i also wanna get my vertical even higher than it is any ideas and how high must the ball be when dunking
MrRicksolo 7 months ago
@MrRicksolo Well to effective dunk the ball your hand needs to be over the rim to your wrist. Use our Vertical Jump Program to achieve this.

ritzkuro 7 months ago
@ritzkuro He is 6'2"!
ShotScience 7 months ago
@ShotScience Can I, a 5'4 guy jump as high as that and dunk?
ritzkuro 7 months ago
@ritzkuro We have absolutely no way of knowing what you can do! We have seen a number of guys with great hops who can dunk at 5'9" or 5'10", but not at 5'4". Possibly you will grow and become able to dunk, but we cannot predict this in any way. Sorry.
ShotScience 7 months ago
Are the guys in the video people who have used the program and how tall are they?
MrTPBROWN 8 months ago
@MrTPBROWN Both are our students for the past four years, but there vertical is due to athleticism.
ShotScience 8 months ago
@ShotScience I bought this program for a friend as a present he has a jumps 3.5 inchs higher and its only been a week and a bit! Can you please make a video on the how to run up to the rim for maxium vertical every time you do go to the rim and foot work drills you can do to make that happen every time.
ssshano24 8 months ago
@ssshano24 this might be something that we can do down the road. In the mean time, check out the videos we posted on Layups. We put footwork into those that should be helpful!
ShotScience 8 months ago
@MrTPBROWN These two young men are both 6'2" and their vertical is between 38 and 40 ".
ShotScience 8 months ago
Hey shotscience, when I get the option 10/12/14 for example, do I choose 1 of the 3? or do 3 sets individually with those reps?
TurdMountain 8 months ago
@TurdMountain: These numbers are the number of reps per set. Set one= 10 reps: set two = 12 reps, etc. Do all three sets in every exercise.
ShotScience 8 months ago
@ShotScience Alright here's another question. Do I have to do all the exercises in the same day all at once? Can I do them throughout the day? What is preferred? And do I have to do them in order?
TurdMountain 8 months ago
@TurdMountain it's best to do all of the exercises in one go and to limit the amount of rest between sets. If you need to break things up, you should look to do it by category in the Handbook. You don't want to push things to the next day because there is training routines for each day and Sunday is a rest day. Following the Handbook is really the way to go to make the best gains.
ShotScience 8 months ago
@ShotScience Alright thanks for the answers. My final question is, when is the best time to drink protein shakes? And how many times should I drink it a day? When I wake up? Post-workout?
TurdMountain 8 months ago
@TurdMountain it's actually better to have a very balanced diet where you eat consistent meals 5-6 times over the course of the day. Protein shakes are supplementary to that type of routine and are best consumed right after you workout. A little before is okay as well, but the most important approach would be to have a VERY healthy diet of lean proteins (chicken, fish, etc) and complex carbohydrates. The shakes are NOT the magic bullet.
ShotScience 8 months ago
I'm intrigued. I've been itching to play ball lately. I'm 28, 6ft3 and I play like a 4. My effectiveness is limited by my stamina and my 24 inches of SLOW hops! Will this program put life back into my aging legs?
najirban 8 months ago
@najirban: We certainly believe that it will help those aging legs, however 28? That's not aged.l. One note that we found after working with our students using this program is that they became much more explosive as well as increasing their vertical.\ and agility.
ShotScience 8 months ago
@ShotScience I have just printed the handbook. I start on Monday.
najirban 8 months ago
@najirban AWESOME!!! Keep us posted and remember. The key is to follow it completely and work HARD!!!!! Keep us up to date on your progress.
ShotScience 8 months ago
Hey, I've read the introduction and watched the videos on the channel but I still have a few questions. For some exercises like Knee Hug, the program says to perform 2X8. Does that mean 8 for both in one set or 8 reps for each leg? Secondly, can the foam rolling be done at the beginning? What is the different between Lying Foot Circle and Lying Leg Circle? For the Lunges do we do shallow or deep? Also, what about the rest intervals between exercises and sets?
DundrMifflin 8 months ago
@DundrMifflin: This means 2 sets of 8 reps for each leg. Yes, on the foam rolling, but it is more effective after per the handbook schedule. The lying leg circles are done lying on on hip with leg extended out and rotating the leg in a circle. The foot circles are executed the same way, but only the foot is rotated at the ankle. It is good to use one minute between exercises, but longer is o.k. especially early on when fatigue may be a problem for you.

DundrMifflin 8 months ago
@ShotScience Thanks for answering those questions. What about the Lunges? Do we do Shallow or Deep?
DundrMifflin 8 months ago
@DundrMifflin you want to do both
ShotScience 8 months ago
@ShotScience Sorry about all the annoying questions but this will be the last one. For the interval aerobic training, does it have to be directly after the foam rolling or can i do it like 10 minutes later? There are no areas to run or an indoor court so I have to walk for about 10 minutes.
DundrMifflin 7 months ago
@DundrMifflin This is not a problem. Just try to get it done pretty soon after the work-out to release those muscle tissues. It feels really great after you do the rolling , right?
ShotScience 7 months ago
@ShotScience Yea it gets me loose, especially my quads. Thanks for all the help.

ShotScience 8 months ago
How can you measure your vertical?
davidkisiel23 8 months ago
@davidkisiel23: Take a piece of chalk, pen or pencil in your fingers and stand next to a tall wall. Jump up and mark the wall at the highest point that you can reach. Do this several times to establish a good mark. As you progress in your jumping do this again and measure the difference between the lines and that represents your gain.
