I'm sure I'll get attacked on this but my question is I thought once the yellow came out the field was frozen unless you fall out of the pace. Well 1 Tony never stopped moving even after he quit spinning and 2 he was back at pass when he was next to Montoya why did he get put back so far. I'm just confused at how that works. Because didn't some guy last year run out of gas fell off the pass under yellow got passed before the line and was still declared the winner. what's the difference

well he never stopped moving. I think the rule states something about maintaining the speed of all the other drivers well he is moving with them but still getting passed I guess It's hard to tell what could be dictated as being at pace.

Couple differences 1 it's the end of the race and drivers are pushing it hard and he just went overboard montoya's incident he tried to over drive the car at mid race when he needed to be patient. 2. Harvick locked up the car and was actaully hoping to just bounce off mcmurry and everyone keep going. Montoya just went into the corner at some God awful angle and had no hope of just bounceing he just wasn't thinking. I don't like either driver anyway I was more upset Tony got wrecked
