Lola is really incredible in this one. Helen was more dad then angry. But one thing we all have to remember is that the director is the one that tells the actors/singers what to do.

I also love this esmeralda. Shes awesome and her face is so good when Clopin is dying. I love her emotion.

I really love this Esmeralda. I like the fire she displays; as the previous commenter said, both versions are good. But her frantic anger and pain in this version is great. :)

In this version, Phoebus killed Clopin and Emerelda pushed him away. This i DO like better. It's a defining moment, Esmerelda finally realizes Phoebus is her enemy. She never did in the French version. Both version did a nice job with her reaction. In this one, she cries and is frantic. In the French one she seems broken unwilling to go on.
