Another great PPV from TNA. Both Angle/Jarrett & Sabin/Shelley would be matches of the year in WWE but might not even get noticed or remembered by TNA at the end of the year because they have so many great matches all the time. Thats not a bad thing though :)

More scripted than fake. That is why I find it upsetting that most people think that it is completely fake. You can't fake someone breaking their leg on live tv(Sid Vicious), you can't fake a death, at least not in a realistic manner(Owen Hart). Or even the other injuries such as the neck injury sustained by "Stone Cold" when Owen Hart hit him with a pile-driver. It may not be as real as UFC, but the risks are still VERY much realistic.

I'm sick of Kurt Angle winning. It's old. Lethal and Creed winning on iMPACT! to turn around and lose the belts right back to Beer Money is stupid. Shelley finally getting the X Division title is so awesome...although it doesn't have as much credibility now as it did a couple of years ago.
It wasn't much of a main event though. Maybe if it were on Impact sure but not for a PPV. Honestly, it sucks what is happening to TNA, losing it's appeal and giving out crappy storylines. They have so much goddamn potential and great wrestlers but the "creative" team and b.s. politics are what ruin what HAD the potential to beat WWE. My guess is Russo, since he ruined WCW as well.
EVERYONE guesses Russo, guess what, Russo has been in TNA for a LONG time. He isn't a new part of the team or anything. Hell he was scripted as the leading force for S.E.X.(Sports Entertainment Xtreme) which is where XXX got their start.

I've been watching WWE again. Kinda happy that Jeff Hardy is FINALLY the champion, although he should have gotten it years ago since taking on Taker in a ladder match. Still, it's starting to get back the luster it did back in the Attitude era even though they don't have as many memorable gimmicks as back then. Personally I like how much The Miz has improved.
Sabin and Shelly was definitely the greatest match of the night. Wow, it was great stuff that the X-Division should be doing. So TNA, lets see more matches like that! It reminds me of the good ole days.
I think that it does not make sence that tna says that the frontline won the war when they only won the 6 man tag match ageist the 2 weaker members of MEM and cute kim.

I still like Sabin and Shelly sepratly, but they were such a kick ass team. Those guys were always on the same page, and yet they never got tag team gold in TNA, that's what I would have expected out of wwe, not TNA.

I think that if everyone had shown up and not been injured this PPV would have been better. MCMG's match and Angle vs Jarrett saved this ppv. I was a little concerned that I paid $30 and it was going to suck because most of the matches had to be rearranged or cut altogether.
Even tho MCMG is the BEST Tag ever (legit) it will be better for TNA if they do split cause there will be better matches bacuse sabin and shelley dont ahev to be put together

yeah me too. they really work super well with each other. i was live at the ppv and even from our seats it was a very amazing match. and the jarrett v angle match was great too. they were possibly the only good matches on the card.
i mean they were ok. but just not what i was really looking for. they really needed to do better on the 6 man. and the tag match ending was stupid. as you saw most of the work was done with Beer Money and Consequences and Lethal. they rarely put Abyss and or Matt Morgan in.

Genises was a nice change in pace for TNA. Despite all of the setbacks they have had and all of the changes they had to make. TNA really delivered which is good. Now they just need to get in the habit of breaking the hit and miss curse that they have. The wreslers bust their ass and are the reason people keep tuning in and it's definetely not because of the booking. If they had solid booking to compliment the hard work that most of the guys put in like at Genesis then TNA can go nowhere but up.
Hope everyone is happy, you finally got ur Genesis footage that you so desperately craved on monday...along with some advertisements. good ppv, jarrett vs angle kept me on the edge of my seat.

Nope. WWE is just doing better, doesn't mean it is. Just like rap is DOING better, doesn't mean it is because most of the rap heard today is the same, recycled garbage over and over again.
TNA HAS the potential to DO better. WWE is DOING better only cuz they are FINALLY using some of the wrestlers they SHOULD HAVE used before. Only reason they are using people like Jeff Hardy and Christian Cage is because being in TNA gave them more ability to be headliners.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if that was all TNA was to WWE, just a training camp. That would suck alot because people like the MMG, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Jay Lethal, Christopher Daniels and all those guys are great athletes and deserve better than being co-dependants to wrestlers and their federation that lacked creativity since the Attitude Era. I'm sick of Kurt Angle winning. It's old. Lethal and Creed winning on iMPACT! to turn around and lose the belts right back to Beer Money is stupid. Shelley finally getting the X Division title is so awesome...although it doesn't have as much credibility now as it did a couple of years ago.

It wasn't much of a main event though. Maybe if it were on Impact sure but not for a PPV. Honestly, it sucks what is happening to TNA, losing it's appeal and giving out crappy storylines. They have so much goddamn potential and great wrestlers but the "creative" team and b.s. politics are what ruin what HAD the potential to beat WWE. My guess is Russo, since he ruined WCW as well.

EVERYONE guesses Russo, guess what, Russo has been in TNA for a LONG time. He isn't a new part of the team or anything. Hell he was scripted as the leading force for S.E.X.(Sports Entertainment Xtreme) which is where XXX got their start.

I've been watching WWE again. Kinda happy that Jeff Hardy is FINALLY the champion, although he should have gotten it years ago since taking on Taker in a ladder match. Still, it's starting to get back the luster it did back in the Attitude era even though they don't have as many memorable gimmicks as back then. Personally I like how much The Miz has improved.

I think that it does not make sence that tna says that the frontline won the war when they only won the 6 man tag match ageist the 2 weaker members of MEM and cute kim.
I think that the mem won the war because they hurt the leader of Tna Jeff Jarret and retained the world chanpionship.

I still like Sabin and Shelly sepratly, but they were such a kick ass team. Those guys were always on the same page, and yet they never got tag team gold in TNA, that's what I would have expected out of wwe, not TNA.

I think that if everyone had shown up and not been injured this PPV would have been better. MCMG's match and Angle vs Jarrett saved this ppv. I was a little concerned that I paid $30 and it was going to suck because most of the matches had to be rearranged or cut altogether.

yeah me too. they really work super well with each other. i was live at the ppv and even from our seats it was a very amazing match. and the jarrett v angle match was great too. they were possibly the only good matches on the card.

i mean they were ok. but just not what i was really looking for. they really needed to do better on the 6 man. and the tag match ending was stupid. as you saw most of the work was done with Beer Money and Consequences and Lethal. they rarely put Abyss and or Matt Morgan in.

Well there was actually good reason for that. abyss and morgan aren't the best when it comes to the in ring work and both guys are new to being a tag team. plus they were working there break up angle.
and the opener was more to make hernandez look more legit since he has the TNA title case.

I think this PPV was a total let down, IMO. The only reason why Sting defeated Rhino is because MEM attacked him a few hours before his match.
I think the only good match at the PPV was Shelley vs Sabin; Very fast paced action. I didn't get to see the 6 Man Tag though.

Genises was a nice change in pace for TNA. Despite all of the setbacks they have had and all of the changes they had to make. TNA really delivered which is good. Now they just need to get in the habit of breaking the hit and miss curse that they have. The wreslers bust their ass and are the reason people keep tuning in and it's definetely not because of the booking. If they had solid booking to compliment the hard work that most of the guys put in like at Genesis then TNA can go nowhere but up.
