I agree with other posters here, Jim Beam Black label is excellent.

I haven't tasted many different american whiskeys, but this one is smooth.

And it comes in a good bottle.

Im drinkin Basil. I visited the distillery two months ago and bought two bottles while there. Jim Beam in my eyes us the best damn bourbon there is!!!!

as a kid u pretty much drink whatever is available but as you get older and a more sophisticated pallete, you begin to really appreciate good bourbon.sure theirs better bourbons out there,but for the price you really cant beat the quality and tradition of JB.cheers old friend!

when i was 16 years old i had my first jim beam. Oh, i got uppity, i treid others, and, you know what, i keep going back to the old beam. Heh, the only problem with jim beam is that it is a bit too easy to drink the entire bottle in a sitting. I don't know i've had enough of it till i'm face down on the sidewalk, and even then, it takes me a minute or two to realize that i've become a concrete dart.

Jim beam got me through bosnia and highschool, what else can be said!

Jim Beam Black is one of my favorites. It shits all over other bourbons in it's price range and can hold its own against plenty of the top shelf whiskies
