Some silly Symbolism I picked up. Maybe, the lumberjack could be considered her father. The part where she steals his hat and drinks be may speak for itself. The younger girl in white (somebody else suggested her to resemble a bunny) was hiding in a tent. The 'Wolf' could be considered your 'inner demon' because previously it had shown to portray your vision of perfection before the girl..kicked the bucket(?) all my sensors are picking up sadness </3 which breaks my heart.

For wath i have seen if you are not stoped by the wolf you go to the bed and she wakes up and you lose. wath you guys think?

Hey, umm I just have a piece of advice. In one of the adaptations of Little Red Riding Hood a lumberjack saves her from the wolf. What you might want to try is to face the wolf WITH the cap from the lumberjack. =)

Your Walkthrough of The Path was the first time I've ever heard of the game, and since then I've gotten really into the psychological/sociological aspects of this game based on what I've seen from the websites and other people's LPs. based upon my observations, when carmen is by the lake, she speaks of a handsome forester...i.e. the guy chopping trees...and when u picked up the knife, she said something about carving initials into a tree...perhaps one of the trees with an X on it by the lumberjack...also try sitting with the lumberjack by the fire...and i'm so glad you figured out how to use the map. ^_^ Hooray for creepy games with not so obvious meanings!!

This is one creepy game...yet I'm still curious about it...

I keep thinking that the lumberjack is going to chop Carmen into pieces or at the very least brutally maim her so that she has a hard time getting to Grandma's house when she appears on the path again. Then again, I could be wrong. It's just simple guesswork based on cliched horror movies after all.

This game is a very artistic sort of game. It shows the real life temptations that children face in everyday life. First was the smoking and now the beer at a young age. In order to succeed u must encounter the wolf ( which is the temptation that the girl faces) and end up on the path. After u go to grannies house u will die which is a win.

Oh, I see. So the people you interact with equal the wolf, because they corrupt the girls and convince them of something just like the wolf in the fairy tale "Little Red Riding Hood". This game seems to have much deeper meanings.

Exactly, but in order to "succeed" in the game, you have to interact with "The Wolf" or in this case, the strange men you meet in different environments (varies all the time, not 1 girl can have the same ending unless the game itself rolled that scenario (1/6)), the point of the game (which really has none lol) is to find all collectibles (flowers, items, secret rooms in which the black girl (flower girl) will lead you to (sometimes to The Path). Basically, just follow the Wolf Paw!
