I need help. I play mostly metal but i like alternative rock better. I never really liked marshall, but hearing this i liked it. and my favorite band uses Marshall too (Sick Puppies). I wanted to get the Ibanez GRGA guitar but i wondered if i should have this over my Line 6 spider iv 15 watt amp.

@Cobyt501st 15W amps in general arn't that good for sound (they're just for beginners untill u get good enough to buy something more powerfull :) ) so what i'm saying here is YEAH THIS IS WAY BETTER THAN THE 15W SPider

@Cobyt501st I have a 2005 Ibanez RG3120DAM Prestige Team J-Craft (Custom Shop) I don't use anymore, it has Bill Lawrence L500/L500XL pups in it, custom fit hard-shell case. Why don't you make me an offer instead of buying some piece of cardboard off of the 'entry-level' wall? No, I cannot sell it for the $299.99 that what your looking at goes for, but with guitars, more than anything else, you get what you pay for.

hey dudes , i have a problem i decided to buy tthe marshall mg 30 watts , cuz in my band i couldnt her myself with my 15w line 6 spider 3 (my other guitarrist also haves the line 6 15 watt) but whn we play , even if my marshall is a t top volume the line 6 is louder, my bassist suggested that maybe yif i remove the back of the amp ,it would sound better/louder ,i removed the screws but i cant remove the back yet, any idea of how, or if that will even work

@adrianestuvoalla yeah, in a band when you play alltogether you need atleast and 50 or 100 watt speaker, if you play live with 15 watts you are fucked

I used ti have the exact same problem. And my amp is the series before this one. The Marshalls of this range are just overpriced for what they're worth. Better buy a Spider Line 6 30 W or whatever's more powerfull from them.

@adrianestuvoalla You just need a tube amp...a 15 watt tube amp will very extreemly loud..much much louder than a solid state amp...15 watts of tube will make you deaf :)

@adrianestuvoalla Line 6 is loud, i havn't really been using marshall. but line 6 spider iv 15 watt is the loudest 15 watt amp ever.

ey dude i have this amp and it is really good but i have one question for you

if i am on averdrive 2 and i turn the master volume at 7 for example it makes a horrible noise is it normal?

on the clean channel that doesnt happen
