there's no way, I know enough about astronomy to know that this was definitely not a planet and far brighter than any satellite that I have seen. Not only that, it appeared to pulsate and I couldn't even tell that it was moving until I reviewed  the tape closer.

I saw this very same thing two nights ago. It scared the $#@& out of me. I wish you had looked at it through binoculars, as you would not BELIEVE what it looks like close up. The best way to describe it is to say that it looks like the body of a jellyfish with several enormous "spotlights" in the center of it. Oddly, as I was searching for any videos of it, I came across probably 5-6 of them showing what I believe is the very same thing - even in Sweden, Norway, etc. What IS this thing???

I can't say. The object had to have been either outside of the atmosphere or extremely high in the sky. I couldn't tell that it was moving until I analyzed the video. Even then, my dad said that it may be moving because of the rotation of the Earth.... I have a good enough knowledge of the sky to say that it is nothing ordinary. From the naked eye, it pulsated, and was far brighter than any planet or star.
