It's not up to Petraeus to decide whether the war makes America safer. That's for the government to decide. Why is Petraeus the whipping boy?

Petraeus only incited violence there by supporting both opposing religious factions. The most indignant strategy: let them all kill each other. This horrible wave of unimaginable violence struck Iraq and 95% victims are simple civilians. Types like Petraeus have bloods on their hands. BTW General, why were protected by contracted security instead of military personnel during your last tour? You admitted it yourself.
