The best part is when the 2 Striders are savagely slashing up Venom, he was zigzaging through the whole stage the camera could barely keep up. That was so hype.

I need this character on MVC3, he is the only thing missing on that game. Capcom must also realize that people like this character and that there is a huge interest from us to see a new Strider game, similar to Ninja Gaiden.

The "bullshit" reason why Strider got disconfirmed is the fact that he isnt entirely owned by Capcom.

You guys wanna know something funny? ive been a fan of the VS series all my life, i grew up with them I remember waking up early with my brother just to rush down to the local arcade to play Xmen vs Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom, Strider and Warmachine was my favorite team, I was so pumped when i heard MVC3 was coming out In my head it was a definite buy but now that Strider Has been disconfirmed, im not sure i can support capcoms latest game..sorry i won't accept any DLC bullshit either

IIRC, Strider is jointly owned by Capcom and Moto Kikaku. Maybe MK raised a stink which put the kibosh on any plans for Strider in MvC3

@prototacoz if you load up mvc2 and see that screen with all the copyright shit you'll see a chunk of chars belonging to diff groups but strider is owned by a single japanese manga group MOTO. licensing is what really made games like the versus series so tough to get to market. sure am gonna miss him in mvc3 :\

@fawfulmark2 Moto-kikaku is not a guy, its a company. And they didn't deny Capcom permission for the character's use. In fact a Moto-kikaku employee tweeted that all Capcom had to do was ask. Also, Capcom have stated before they haven't forgotten about Strider. Stop perpetuating misleading speculation as fact.

Anywho, Strider for DLC! Or Strider 3!
