mine does something really strange dosent matter when the disc got put into the xbox 360 well heres what happens when turn my xbox360 on and go to play a game i can play it for about 10-15 minutes then suddenly without any warning the screen goes black then i get taken to the xbox360 dashboard then it says its opening the tray and i didnt press or do anything to open it then after i close the tray i can play it for as long as i want but whats this a sign of and how do i fix it before it rely bad

@72impalavert The problem is that you need to switch the logic boards out of the drives. Take the logic board out of your old drive and put it in the replacement. This will fix the problem positively absolutely. ;)

overtime the laser goes weak open up ur xbox and behind the laser theres gonna be two screws the one on the left u turn it anticlock wise this puts more voltage into the laser thus making it read better.

@SuperSwagJerks well that means your xbox might get the red ring of death and you should keep your xbox off for a couple of days play it for at least and hour and then let it rest for about 3 hours and do that every day for about 3 to 4 days and that should fix it.
