  • The GOP: Drivin' Off A Cliff This November!!!

  • Have Sen. John McCain, Sen. Mitch McConnell, Rep. John Boehner, Rep. Erik Cantor succeeded and convinced the democrats to delete the death panned to kill Grandma from the health care bill? Im worried if it is still in the bill

  • Did Gregg actually justify not proposing any alternatives?!? Unbelievable! I used to respect that man, even after he backed out of Obama's cabinet. But this is beyond the pale. Gregg has changed -- he's no longer an independent thinker in the GOP; he's just another lazy Republican hack.

  • It's sad. At this point, I'm so skeptical of republicans that nothing they say matters to me at all. There's been so much greed, deception, and especially hypocrisy.

I understand the greed and deception. In order to push your greedy policies through, you have to deceive people. Fortunately a lie can easily be disputed with facts.

But their hypocrisy is something I can hardly stomach. Don't pretend like you suddenly care about deficits now! You're irrelevant, and no one believes you!

  • Palin can drive only a Bicycle...but she pray everyday...she's conservative (stupid) christian...

  • This kind of message is just childish.

  • Bus needs to be shorter.

  • Both parties are trash, and need to go.

All they succeed at is dividing us.

  • I think of myself as an independent conservative. I agree with you wholeheartedly.

  • Make that bus a little smaller...

  • dam it this issue is too old just leave iot in the past someone better is gonna show up in a few years maybe

  • 1) 30 years of awful fiscal policy from republicans

    2) over-reliance on "financial economy"

    3) mirrored crony capitalism and oligarchy of south american and euroasian crisis

    4) commodity futures modernization act: real simple 1908 to enron to present.

    5) fee shops from big to small in the financial economy.

    6) and just a awful illusion in the anglo world that american and the city deserve a premium when they provide little of value. realignment time and time for the anglo world to wake up.

  • Forget about a bus they need a submarine because they are sinking fast. mayday mayday mayday

  • is this really necessary? there hasn't been many times in our entire history where one party has had such a dominant majority, but the DNC still feels the need to bash any opposition.

yeah the republicans fucked up the last 8 years. now the democrats are going to fuck up the next 8

how can anyone support a budget with nearly a 2 trillion deficit?

  • Whats funny is the DNC doesn't know the world and most Americans know BOTH partys are a joke and the same.

  • Great misdirection! Let's not look at what President OBama is proposing. Instead, let's focus on the Republicans NOT having proposed an alternative with numbers and lots of wasted research that has no chance of being enacted.

  • Not every change is for the better.

Remember, our economy is still the best in the world. Our recession still sees us with lower unemployment rates than nearly every country in the EU had during the boom years.

We do need to have some changes, but that's no reason to let one party do whatever they want. Letting one party do whatever they want is what got us into this mess.

  • You would think the DNC has bigger problems to work on.. Remeber they did win the election.

  • Weak. We can do better than poke humorous jabs.

These people almost destroyed the global economy, and are now fighting all attempts to fix real problems.

We voted for change. And they are still blocking it. Expose them.

  • Obama should do a CBO on the tax cut proposals by the republicans. And then use the results to hammer the rethugs especially when they bring up the deficits. It scares me to think what a 25% top marginal rate and 10% rate for the rest would produce as so far as deficits are concerned.

  • Bus? I picture the GOP in a VW. About 100 of them packed in wearing red noses and white face make-up.

  • I picture a hearse when I think of republicanism.

Republicanism embodied in the republican party is dead. It died when it started acting like the democratic party. Pretty funny to me how the democrats are still campaigning against the republicans. Why?

Most of the economic problems we are having stem from the housing crisis, which started as the community redevelopment act sponsored by Barney Frank and Chris Dodd during the Clinton administration.

  • Actually the current crises stems a bit deeper than the housing bubble. (R)Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act 1999 repealed the Glass-Stealing Act 1934 allowing companies to become too big to fail. And (R)s Commidity FuturesModernization Act 200 allowed bank to merge with turdblossoms becoming even bigger. They fail our economy fails. Letting Lehman Bros fail did not help.

  • Close enough. All liberal policies, all Trojan horses, designed to fail at some point. Even though some Republicans sponsored some of this activity, it was all liberal, all anti-American.

    All anti-capitalist. All corrupt.

  • Oh but those Rep. policies that we have endured for the last 8 yrs. have done WHAT? Do you really want more of that? We are now living the 2f ailed wars and a depression And you want more Conservative leadership? OY

  • salaam Shalom

Had we had any conservative leadership over these last 8 years we wouldn't be here. You seem to confuse liberal ideas, implemented by the now defunct republican party as representative of the conservative ideals coming to the fore now. Doubt that I can help you to see the difference between conservative and liberal anymore. The lack of education in the US is highly evident in remarks such as yours. Grade school teaches liberal=good, conservative=bad. College refines it.

  • The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act 1999 that repealed the liberal Glass-Steagall Act of 1934 that kept us safe from collapse was authored by 3 ((R) - pro-Capitalists. Same with the Commodity Futures Modernization Act 2000. All conservative acts meant to get rich quick at the cost of the rest of us. The liberalism is socialism follies of McCain failed to win the WH. America isn't as stupid as Fox Propaganda junkies.

  • calling liberal allegations about the Act folk economics.[26]

I had to go do a little research. There is too much data refuting your claims to take you seriously.

But, I am sure "that is your story and you're sticking with it."

  • You had to research the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act of 1999? You are aware that the Senators whose names are on the bill are Republicans, aren't you?

  • Limbaughs drivin the republican bus. off a cliff!

  • Limbaugh is not a republican. He is like me, and independent conservative. Watch for the conservatives on a street near you during the upcoming tax revolts. The tea parties. This is the first time I have seen conservatives, usually the great silent majority, on the streets, demonstrating. It is just the beginning of getting our country back.

  • It sure seem funny about you independent conservatives, where were you people when Dubya was in the White House. Where was your tea parties then? O, thats right, most you conservatives supported him so I guess you didnt have much bad to say about him increaseing the debt.

  • Seems funny to you does it?

    Well, consider this:

Speaking for this conservative independent, knowing that Bush was way out of line, way over the top with his liberal policy bent, and knowing that he would be out of office before we could be very effective in countering same, we are now going to the streets because we can see Obama is much much worse, and there is time to do something about it. The time is now.

Are you defending the socialist policies of Obama? The spending?

  • What is amazing to see is someone who is an Independent conservative (like Rush) call Bush policy liberal, when Rush defended EVERYTHING Bush and the Republicans did. I smell turdblossom. Check your boots.

  • Wait a minute, bush never had a liberal policy bend in eight years he was in office. It was war, tax cuts for the rich and screw the workin people of America. Besides, Dubya was the one who was suppose to be the compassionate conservative.

As far as Obamas spending, how is this socialism? What do you think should be done to get the economy back on track? Yes I support Obama spending policies.

  • Bush never spent any money on liberal projects? News to me.

Tax cuts were for everyone, not just the rich.

Screwing the working people of America began under Clinton when we exported our manufacturing.

Actually, you are right. Not so much socialism as fascism.

Taking over banks. Taking over auto manufacturing facilities. Setting wages and bonuses for private industry.

  • @OhioDemocrat Great! Please let me know where and when will be the celebration party? Cheers!
