Hey a tip for your default time setting. Sync your iphone calendar with a google calendar. Then set the default time from within google calendar on the google settings website. Both the iphone and the google calendar website will have the same default and automatic reminder time. You can add two or more default reminder times as well. I'd still love to have week view on my iphone. Competing smartphones are setting a good example of how to build a proper calendar application. Nice video.

I have been trying to see how this can be improved also. I use to have a BB and this is one of the most used apps and I get very frustrated with the i Phone's entire calendar. I also wish you could postpone a reminder when it comes up instead of closing it. I miss a lot of events because they do not repeat. Hopefully an update will come out to improve this feature on an awesome device.

thing is, apple doesn't even have to do the work. eg check out the good o'l palm programs at pocketgear. anything you want!

instead, we get this long drawn out sdk plan. wtf! the phone has been out a year. get it together already apple.
