generally double axels i think. the standards are much higher now than they were in the early 90s

standards weren't that much different. They did doubles then.. this is a show, not a ISU or USFSA competition. The skaters could do what they wanted.

double preliminary do singles some do triple if they learnit mao asada did

They do doubles, then and now, but this wasn't a serious competition just an exhibition. She watered down her skating for the show.

@figuresk8rtripleaxel juniors do doubles, but triple if they can like Mao Asada did. Double axels are required for novice as well.
