  • Tom Neme is a good friend of ours he is a very talented musician and a wonderful mentor to his students. He is very involved with the music ministry at our church, has been for years. My son also took lessons with Tom. He encouraged my son and he has been playing out since he was 17. We love Tom he is great.

  • I own this album!!!

  • in the video here you see J L Hudsons department store and bob out front in concert. well I'm in that crowd somewhere. this is also the store that refused to carry the MC5 album kick out the jams unless the mf shout was removed. the 5 said up yours we dont need you. hudsons was the largest retail outlet in the area. just thought you'd enjoy an original fans remembrences.

  • This would have worked better if it was heard on "The Hot Fudge Show" later on. If you listen, Bob Seger was trying to find his nitch as he would several years after with "Night Moves". As for "Noah", let's give it a test run.

  • concrning the link to Noah. cuz its down. My memory in the press at the time was Bob didnt like it because it was recorded without him while he was out of town. this was not an uncomon industry business practice at the time. any truth to this with Noah. I do know for fact that back in the day alot of artists had studio musicians record their albums while they toured. I loved early Bob. Its gutsy Detroit Rock n Blues.

  • I have a signed copy of this album, DETROIT at its best god I loved the music from DETROIT in the 60's

  • Two other songs on this album were GREAT - Innervenus Eyes and Death Row. Innervenus ranks as one of Bob's GREATEST blow you away rock jams he has ever released. It would have fit perfectly on his next album, Mongrel. (or Early Seger Vol. 2)

  • The Bridge in this songs sounds kind of like Skynard's Alabama,

Ahh Ahh Ahh, lets go on with the show..

  • Absolutely adore this song.

Never heard the album due to the generally negative aura around it, but this song makes me want to buy it regardless.

Too bad I'll probably have to buy a $30 LP with sound quality below great, which I'll then have to convert to a CD in order to load it onto my iPod...-sigh-

  • Believe me, if your a Seger System fan, then you'll want to find a copy of this album!! While it is rather uneven & inconsistent, there is some real good stuff on it! Would sure like to see it get rereleased on CD along with all the other earlier albums some day, how about it, Bob & Capitol???

  • I found a seller on e-bay who lives in Austria who has (real) professional cd's of all of segers out of print cd's. These are not crackly LP transfers or cheap cdr-rs they are professionally remastered by an overseas record company of some type. The sound on these even surpases the sound of seger's remasters. The price is phenominal as well...22-24 dollars U.S. with 3 to 5 dollar shipping. I bought noah, back in 72 and brand new morning. Rambling gambling man, mongrel are also available.

  • Hey Bob if you read these blogs . I only have question b4 I die, What ever happen to the song Can't Hit the Corners No More. You spoke spoke so much about that song in your Rolling Stone Mag. interview way back when.

    Steve from Cleveland

  • Noah was Bob's SECOND album...Mongrel was Bob's THIRD album. zziros is correct, Noah was released before anything from Mongrel.

  • Does anyone know were I can get Evil Edna, a song from Mongrel

  • Because the sales of Mongrel were far below the money changers greed, they decided to force Bob to add some cat named Tom Niemi to the band and album and turned it into a horrendous piece of trash while declaring Niemi the next messiah of rock and roll. It is quite obvious when listening to the album that Bob pretty much had all creativity stripped although this song is a Seger classic and showed him punching at the snakes. This bummer resulted in "Brand New Day". I Think.

  • Noah was released before Mongrel.

  • Nope. It wasn't

  • Yes it was. Mongrel was not released until almost a year after Noah.

  • I hear ya, wolverine84!!! It NEEDS to happen! I must say, in all my years of collecting albums & CDs, I have NEVER come across a vinyl copy of the "Noah" album! Or "Brand New Morning" either. Did get lucky enough to find them on burned, unofficial CDs, however!

  • God please have Bob release Ramblin' Gamblin' Man, Noah, Mongrel, Back In '72, Brand New Morning & Seven on CD!!!!

  • join the clun man, iv ben waiting for years the most fucked up part is they released smokin ops(good album, but not as good as the ones you said)i got them all on LP, very hard to find but i got em

  • This is a hard Seger LP to find (I do have the single of this song) even for a Midwestern boy

  • You people finally get it! The flip side , Next!!!

  • That's a good one! Takes you way back..Love Bob Seger

  • Thanks! This is just one of Bob's fun songs to sing that has been missing from the air waves for too long.

  • What a great start to a great career for Sir Bob!

  • Neat'O' Good oldie of Segers
