  • mind posting the name of the song too please?

  • GREAT VID!

  • Nice remake of Dominic Frontieres flat track background music. Davey Aldana still races today. Still fast....Doesn't crash as much!

  • Friend of mine locked h'bars with Nixon while riding a 51 Harley K and got tossed off the track. He went through the crowd on the side then hit the middle of a picnic spread! Ha! He said the couple had a big bowl of potato salad that he cut in half and tossed as he went thru (no brakes) then had to lay it down in the grass! Ha! Wish they had filmed that!

  • Bought a new BSA B 50MX in 1973 from Robert M. Law Motorcycles in Anaheim California, it was the last year the bike had the BSA name. In 1974 it was called a Triumph Avenger. It was a good desert and woods bike......wish I still had it.

  • Would be nice to hear the bikes instead of that crap music :(

  • I cut teeth at the San Jose mile! I grow up in the Richmond Ramblers M.C. my pops Frank was real good friends with Dick "Bugsy" Mann!

  • it is dirt track

  • i ride speedway (jnrs ) and i remember watching a bit of these with me old man at the longtrack ... i think it was these neways ... why do they put there hand down on the engine ???

  • They're not putting their hand on the engine. They're holding onto the fork. Lets you tuck in tighter and steadies the fork on the straights.

  • my old man used to take me to the santa clara county fairgrounds where we'd watch rice, mann, aldana and many other of these guys that i thought were larger than life -don castro, sonny jurganson, gene romero etc.

the san jose mile was the biggest event in flat track and it happened in our back yard.

    thanks for the memories.
