His words are true. It is good to hear such a fine speech. We are at the crossroads, the turn we choose will determine our future for many generations. This over spending and growth of the federal government is killing our freedoms, slowly but surely. Future generations will be no more than debt slaves.

I always wondered why blacks and latinos were mostly democrat. After the Klan, I'd think blacks would be ultra far right. Latinos, the same... they risk their lives to cross the border for a better life, but it seems all they want are the entitlements.

@IndividualAutonomy... I know many young blacks who have embraced the Tea Party movement. The only thing required to point out is that "these are the people who want you to have opportunity in your life." It is that simple, and that true.

i feel odd sometimes, being mostly an anarchist(the good kind), that i lean right rather than toward most of my liberal contemporaries, for the principle of less govt. i wish that fucker would stop blowing the whistle, that's only annoying; if i was there i would say something to him/her about being considerate of others

@desirefirst It's not about left or right, my young friend, it's about freedom! I urge you to read the Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights. It's not hard reading, in fact it's easy. You can get a pocket-size transcript for free by calling the Heritage Foundation 800.546.2843. Carry it with you, it's amazing how well these guys had it!

@tubejmmer well, thanks for the "young" friend tag. oh, i've read all of that and keep copies close at hand, and refer to them many times; i've begun to read The Federalist Papers to get a better idea of the mindset and thinking surrounding the writing and ratification of the constitution. i do try to avoid the standard labels as much as possible. take care...
