  • HOLY CRAP THEY HAD TO REMOVE EVE OF DESTRUCTION FROM THE DVD!!!

  • Watching Ralph's reaction to the "Green Guys" playing it over and over again is classic. Given all his powers he STILL can't see a way out.

    William Katt rocked.

  • i took this one episode when Scifi had this on the 4th last year and copied it to a dvd of its own

and put it in my collection WOO HOO

  • @Coburn234 ~ Is the Bionic Man still playin :

  • @NYCBlonde ~ I know :(~ this was the primary music piece ~ though ~

  • Please post the whole episode! This episode is ill-served by the DVDs, it *has* to have the original music.

  • @NYCBlonde So the dvds don't have the original music? Why?

  • @twilaysia Because the artists who own the rights to the song ("The Eve of Destruction" in this case, although you see the problem with other episodes where they use songs like the Beach Boys' "Help Me Rhonda") want too much money to re-use the song for the DVD. It's only for well-known songs that were covered for GAH, not the original songs they wrote for the show. Frustrating though, especially in this episode--"Destruction" DRIVES this episode, you have to have it (& not a replacement).

  • @NYCBlonde Thanks for the explanation. What a bummer not to have the original music :(

  • I'm so glad u posted this video

  • @jodmackster ~ Ur welcomed ~

  • Copyright issues!? I don't get why they can play this on TV, but not give us a dvd copy! They must want bootlegers to get the profits for the show....

  • @Marion004 ~ Dvds R still about ~ less for the original songs ~

  • this episode was just on tv and this awesome song was in it (i recorded the episode im going to put it on a DVD in my GAH collection)

  • @williamkatt81 ~ I agree completely ~ copyright issue(s) ~ now ~ they tell Us ~

  • @williamkatt81 ~ btw ~ thnxs for the comp(s) ~ :-)

  • I agree. I still remember the effect this scene had on me back when. I wore out the rewind on my VCR back in '81 watching it "over and over again."

  • To me, this is one of my favorite moments of the show. Also, it's Joey singing this song, even though it's not his. But, he has a good voice.

Good song and moment, in one of the most underrated shows in history.
