Sorry about the mixup, I didn't blame DC for the quality of the movie, just that it was made at all. It's a long story, but it boils down to Alan Moore and DC fighting over who owned Watchmen, then DC going directly against Alan Moore's wishes and making a Watchmen movie without any supervision by members of the Watchmen book's crew. You should definitely look it up, it's kind of an interesting little fiasco, ending with Alan Moore swearing not to see the movie.

This was a great novel, but I'm afraid there's no way to faithfully squeeze the entire story into a feature film. I think this is a shining example of DC yet again screwing the ever loving crap out of Alan Moore, but that's a different rant for a different day. In short: Close, but no cigar.

Haley (Rorschach) really did play the part VERY well - he was quite literally an onscreen transformation of the character directly from the graphic novel. I thought Morgan (Comedian) was great too. I'm the HUGEST fan of the novel, and thought the movie was fantastic, apart from some minor pacing issues... and a bit too much Blue Man Group "Peen".

also, I was geuinely supprise when about 30 mins left in the film i realised for the first time that i had been watching a bunch of guys/girls in hilarious ridiculous costumes for 2 hand a half hours, the movie was enticing enough to make me over look this fact but the rich dude's costume at the end broke that illusion, his was just stupid, like not even comic books stupid, just bad stupid.
