As an ecotourist I am interested in Honduras natural attractions -- its mountains, rivers, beaches, animals and as a fruit lover it's fruit and fauna. I am not interested in it's discos, or high rises. Nature is what interest me -- keeping it as pristine as possible. I wished Honduras, especially La Ceiba would offer much more to ecotourist as myself -- something like a Tropical Fruit Festival -- an array of tropical fruits and tropical based products.

Get off the island of Roatan and you will also fall in love with Honduras. If your an Ex Patriot, please move to Roatan.
Yep! I'll still be in Honduras for September-October, but I'll be spending all of five seconds in the Tegucigalpa airport before being taken under the wing of my volunteer group co-ordinator; I'll be spending most of my time in La Esperanza and possibly a bit of time on the islands. So, I hope to avoid all scary-capital-city-demonstrator events etc.
