shit yeah man, this is awesome!!! that was so long ago... glad it stuck with you through all those years... and you turned me onto alot of good stuff years before that as well... fuck, even in high school you were teaching me how play bauhaus and joy division songs... goddamn dude...
VocalBrush and I are currently working on Current 93 - Riverdeadbank and Faith in the Muse - HEAL. We recently did The Smiths - Back To The Old House. It's all going to be posted under her account.
wow, great covers going on there!! Riverdeadbank song is an awesome art piece! Could you perhaps do a cover of c93's "A Song For Douglas After He's Dead" ?
"Sometimes never..little houses on fire...if I say to you...listen...you shall be crowned above all else." I don't know. Each of his songs seem to bleed into every other song. Michael Cashmore was a talented composer--and DMT was a prophet and a poet. I suppose I shouldn't speak of them in the past tense. But where has their glory gone? For this kind of music, I recommend Valence. There is a video of theirs entitled: Flicker. They are performing with Luftwaffe in Texas. Also, look for Luftwaffe.
Sleep Has His House... Thanks, I'll have to take a listen to that! I read on the internet that the album was written and recorded as a reaction to the death of David Tibet's father. Apparently, it's also a book written in 1948. It mentions a 'night-time language', quite intriguing.
exactly, hommage posthume. this album is quite different from the usually material from Tibet, but a great experience. I can recommand the live "Halo" as well, a mix of sleep has his house and some songs from ruine of blazing stars and some others famous titles. you should definitely own one of both. cu.
I have tried to find it on filesharing networks without any luck so far. I believe it's on "Thunder Perfect Mind" though. I have been meaning to internet order that thing sometime next paycheck.
"Steven And I In The Field Of Stars" Track 2, from the album: "Of Ruine or Some Blazing Starre". Great album. Did you figure out the tune? or where did you get the tablature? That's a great album. All The World Makes Great Blood :)
Well played! One of my favorites. I have "of ruine or some blazing starre" (and nearly all of their releases) uploaded to soulseek for download if you like. Username is longboardster.

'Of Ruine' is one of the greatest albums ever made. Wonderful guitar picking but it needs Tibet's words.

Sorry, but no. I learn songs by ear. Sometimes I think that it would be easier to read, but I just don't. My sister is trying to help me with that.
