  • its nice to see all your hard work go up in smoke :(

  • Hey i think there is a fire in that building.

  • Enter your text here

  • i live here, the smell was awful for so long. the re-build looks to be going well though.

  • i used to live here lol

  • Actually we run on three generators ( four when all plant is running ),we did run on five totalling 5Mw of power, there never was any power lines to the plant as the estimated cost was over £3million to install.

  • generators * lol

  • but they are running on 2 generations due to power lines were damaged in fire

  • they have just took the hangar down now and are starting to rebuild. The #1 hangar is still fully functional atm.

  • Maybe the rebuild will have a sprinkler system fitted..

  • how did you get the footage

  • if team 2 were there that day none of this would have happened lol furthermore....matts mum swallows

  • Listen to how quiet and calm the crowd are...

This was not in America, I am guessing..

  • england

  • LOL!

    No, England. :-)

  • lol

    Environmentalism FAIL

  • Please don't fall out and make false accusations. These are decent people. They pay their bills on time, they are well administrated and have a wonderful forward looking attitude.

There is a potential fire hazzard in a factory of this sort. This fire happed roughly 40 minutes after their first customer for food grade PET confirmed 1st class quality. That is just really bad luck. This plant had the potential to deliver high profits, no way was it deliberate. Officially, a rebuild is to commence.

  • GlenJose - if this is an insurance scam, why would it go on fire a day after tests which passed AWS Ecoplastics to supply food grade plastic? Seems a bit dense doesn't it? Think before you speak. Jonathan is the main boss and will get it sorted.

    Thanks Chris

    T.S

  • It never ceases to amaze me just how many pricks this sort of thing brings out !

All recycling places are quite grim on tidyness, its how it is,the nature of the beast.

Our main man assures us that a rebuild is on the cards and in the shortest possible timescale........bring it on Jonathon !!!!

  • JANKACHAOS1, AJ MOJA PRACA TO BOLA... pamatas jak sme dreli na 11-tke? Marián

  • Last year I worked there

  • And any news on what is too happen to the workers, have they been laid off and if so is it with pay/without?

So sad for everyone - such a shame

  • Any news yet on what caused it?

  • extractor fan set dust on fire

  • No disrespect here, but how do you know? Do you work there? I speak to the production guys almost daily, in fact less than 30 minutes ago to the production manager and he never mentioned that. Was it an external extractor or the extractor on the granulation system? They'd just had an uprated extractor on the granulator system and it could have been a manufacturer's fault.

  • I live here, we are friends with these people who have lost their jobs. They were inside the hangar at the time of the fire starting. I don't see why they would lie if they've seen it with their own eyes.

  • You are correct. It was started by an extractor fan. Sorry to question you like that, I thought someone would have mentioned it before.

  • Pretty intoxicating

  • to bola moja praca ......

  • smells like an insurance scam to me!

  • Thick twat !!!!

Why dont you get the facts before opening your stupid mouth and lettingthe shit out !!

" smells like an insurance scam " wanker !

  • goober was only a jokes, fags on here piss me off when they cant take a joke

  • Theres always one dumb shit that makes comments like that! My two sons are gutted they both worked at the plant and now they have no job or income. Its a bloody shame for all the workers, management and the families. Maybe you are not fit for employment so have to fill your day by making pathetic comments

  • Sounds like sour grapes to me!

Maybe your lack of spelling (it's "there" not "their") put the employer off.

Terrible what happened though, thankfully there have been no reported injuries.

  • Any non-specific or non-particular noun in a singular, beginning with a vowel is always preceded by indefinite article "AN", for God's sake!!! There's plenty space for enlightment in your brain mate... shame...

P.S. My husband worked there too... Best wishes to all of you guys. Fingers crossed things will work out well for you!!! Having 7 month old baby I don't even dare to imagine, how I would have lost my husband and friends in such an incident... so thank God none is injured.

  • do you have any idea what caused it?

  • how long ago was it renovated?

  • Four years being built up from scratch, all new kit and they got their food grade certification three weeks ago.

    Very very sad.

  • Crying shame for the area, was a major employer - all my wishes to the workers. I hope it is not forced to close

  • I know these guys. The production manager doesn't deserve this. I proper decent bloke. I'm gutted for them.

The morbid sadness in me is interested in seeing the rest of the video. The ironic thing is I was supposed to be going into there tomorrow to pick up some work. Gutted. :-(
