  • Bruno seeing blood: ..... were fucked. 10 seconds later.... I really wish i had a bucket of water.. after drac walkes out... Maybe I shouldn't have made that coffin..... IM SO FIRED. bruno is the best part of the movie.

  • wasn't even*

  • Okay this is the on plotline from the movie I disliked cause it didn't happed this way. His second wife was fantasticly loyal to his cause. In fact the reason she died was that when the castle was surounded by forces led by none other than his brother who was about to assault(she was warned by a romanian woodsman and archer who'd joined the enemy army) She jumped rather than be captured (said she'd rather be eaten by the fish) today it's called the lady's river. Vlad even wasn't there.

  • poor vlad married a crazy woman but then again dont all married men lmao

  • Well, I think he played Dracula very well. I like the video...

  • Lydia jumped out of a tower when Turks where invading the castle

  • if there was a definition of schizophrenic for that time period, Dracula's wife would be the definition

  • I think he played Dracula very well because he always plays bad but nice roles like in Navy CIS or in "Die Jagd nach der heiligen Lanze".

  • @PTMDLBTSify go shag a dead goat u cunt

  • Vlad for prezident sudi Arabia A be A litle more Reasonable with The price of Gas in this Land No?

  • She killed herself, because she thought she was hearing cries of the dead, when she was actually hearing cries of starving prisoners, and of course those getting impaled. And she also thought her husband was damned to walk the earth for all eternity. In the old days it was believed someone who commited suicide would be damned to walk the earth, so technically, she did it so she could be with him.

  • 500 years ago romania had dracula, then along came nicolae ceaucescu and now there are millions of gypsies there ....could things get any worse?

  • The Hungarian king is Roger Daltery... WHO Knew? lol

  • Id fuck his wife..Even if it meant he would impale my ass,it would be worthed.

  • @rinoldkirk-They also believe that if they sell tickets to the Holy Land & cooperate with a 1948 state Jesus will not return to take his promised land & therefore they can milk Mother Mary. They believe if you kill yourself you go to hell but it wouldn't surprise me if they hung boys who had become too old to suffice for pedophilia. Sodomy & Murder? God knows who is & is not guilty surely. How many a fool reaches immortality for quite a duration to think there is no heaven nor hell?

  • He just didn't wanted to go into the cart.

  • why did she kill herself when vlad was alive and recovered? what's the explanation?

  • @GlobalDating she died by throwing herself off the castle so as to avoid being captured by the turks she truly loved ans supported her husband but hollywood is always messing up the story

  • @fakeqwerty yeah agree with you..hollywood stinks..jejeje

  • @fakeqwerty ,

nonsense, she killed herself because her own husband drove her mad Into doing so.

  • @GlobalDating the explanation is that they filmed the movie for one scenario, then changed their minds when they spliced it together.

  • @GlobalDating She was going insane because of his horrendous practices of killing his enemies so she thought she was starting to hear the voices of the dead and perhaps believe Vlad was another spectral, eventually driving her to suicide. That is a historical inaccuracy in this film. Vlad's first wife did kill herself, but she killed herself because she thought the castle was under siege and she didn't want to be taken prisoner, not because she was going insane.

  • some people find it good and and some people find it shit so its different opinions but some people pretend on the internet to disagree and insult those who has opinions witch they love this film them selfs

  • sorry .. i can not watch the rest of it.. .. i at first thought the folks saying the movie was shit,, was full of shit... but now i see what they mean.. this movie is shit,, damn and i had so much hope.. but this is horseshit at best

  • Like a possum! Haha, pass out/pretend to be dead. Lol

Anyways, so far good movie, different.

  • ok where did her body go? now im confused lmao...well at least we know how the whole he was undead thing got started!

  • I think Gary Oldman probably play a better Dracula. This guy doesn't look fierce enough.

  • @npaujbais Not to mention, he's missing his mustache

  • @MessengeroftheNight LOL!! I know, the famous picture of him (and a statue) depicted him with a long mustache. Funny you noticed. :)

  • drink her blood drink her blood drink her blood drink her blood do it drink the varm and delishus blood

  • EXCELLENT movie, the Best of all.

  • Wth is wrong with the queen why would she kill herself??.

  • I have always wondered: For thoes who are Romanian...did Dracula's wife really JUMP?

  • @Leon61491 Yeah, she did. I've researched Vlad's history and read tht during a battle, she did recieve a letter stating that Vlad was dead when he wasn't and she jumped into that river. That's why they call it the River of the Princess, so I've read

  • @DarkEcoMaiden clasic romeo and juliet suicide syndrome.

  • @yuri1ishtar Tell me about it.

  • Comment removed

  • @Leon61491 according to wikipedia, a woodland archer shot an arrow through the window into Vlad's main quarters with a message warning him that Radu's army was approaching; upon reading the message, Vlad's wife threw herself from the tower into a tributary of the Argeş River flowing below the castle, saying she would rather rot and be eaten by the fish of the Argeş than be led into captivity by the Turks; today, that river is called the Lady's River (Râul Doamnei)

  • @Leon61491 rumors state that she did indeed commit suicide by jumping into the Arges River. She feared the castle was under siege and she refused to be taken prisoner

  • @MessengeroftheNight Yes. That and someone forged a note stating Vlad was dead and she couldn't take it. Heard that from a descendant of Vlad's. Can't remember her name

  • Vlad is a fuckin savage, but you had to be in those days or you would just be another peasant or slave. His wife is always like "Vlad do you hear the voices?" the look on his face is like "yeah bitch there saying shut the fuck up and go make me a sandwich."

  • @youngplayag you had to kill for everything back in those days...thank god we have a democracy and scientific progress

  • What a waste of good puzzy! She could of just asked for a divorce and got half his castle!

  • @Dcole11 Lol! Divorce didn't exist back then and an annulment wasn't possible since they consummated their marriage

  • Lydia: Do you hear them?

    Vlad's thoughts: Not again.

  • XD. Princes Bride and Vlad. a great combination.

  • oh yeah just trow my ass in the dungeon and then ask if im ready to work. jeeze

  • @Nevartha7890 I know, right? The expression on Vlad's face when the King says that after all this time; he was innocent and he was wrong. Never fails to make me laugh!

You can see him thinking, "Oh, -NOW- you believe me? About damn time!"

  • How can they call this "The True Story of..." when they can't even be bothered to get the names of the historical figures right. You can make a movie about the character Dracula, real or fictional, sure, but it's completely false to call it "True."

  • @oddysseus2 If you read some comments below you would see some people already having a similar 'discussion'. I will repeat part: THIS IS A MOVIE. It is NOT meant to be accurate, It is a movie. I could tell you every place Clash of the Titans went wrong, but I recognize that it is not meant to be real. you clearly do not or you would not bother to leave such pointless comments. The 'true story' is the title. Think about the book "The Real Story of the Three Little Pigs" It is not real.

  • @mudkiprox Ever hear of 'false advertising'? it's when you advertise one thing and deliver another - in common parlance it's a misleading lie. When you give a movie a title like "The True Story of..." you're selling people the lie that the film is going to be based on true facts. I quite liked this film, but I still think that it is preposterous to call it "true" and not even bother to make it appear so - the title is important.

  • @mudkiprox P.s. "Clash of the Titans" is based on the fictional story of Perseus and incorporates mythological elements and "The Three Little Pigs" is a fairy tale, how can you possibly use these as legitimate example

  • @oddysseus2 it`s as true as "The True Story of Puss’N Boots". don`t bother to understand that, let`s just enjoy.

  • he is gorgeous

  • This is NOT the 'true story' of Vlad... This film is highly historically inacurate.

  • @MdP2 Uh yeah, and what exactly is your point? To prove that you don't know the difference between a movie and a documentary? If so, then yeah, you proved it!

  • @mabelsmill

My 'point'!? My 'point' resides on the fact that a movie which is highly historically inacurate should not be titled "The True Story of..." - Did I make it enough clear to you now? Or shall I draw you a picture before you restart accusing me of not knowing the difference between a movie and a documentary?

  • @MdP2 At the risk of raising your ire again (oh, what the heck) I've never accused you of anything. This is a movie not a documentary. If this was purported to be a DOCUMENTARY then you would have a point about the title and I would agree with you because it IS historically inaccurate. However, it is a MOVIE and because it is such then they can call it anything they want. It's about telling someone's "version" of facts albeit in this case more like lies BUT it's just a movie and oh well...

  • @MdP2 history is always inacurate

  • this part is historically inacurate, it was a turkish plan to say that he was dead, , some turk shot an arrow with a letter to the princess window, saying that vlad was dead.....

  • @elguerreromuisca Actually, you got that from Bram Stalker's Dracula - the movie. The legend is different, and it's not historical in pretty much any way. It is, after all, a legend.

  • according to his biogrphy, says"Vlad's first wife was a Transylvanian noblewoman whose name is unknown. She bore him at least one son, Mihnea cel Rău, who would later rule Wallachia 1508 to 1510.

Vlad's first wife died during the siege of Poienari Castle, which was surrounded by the Ottoman army led by Radu. An archer having seen the shadow of Vlad's wife behind a window, shot an arrow through the window into Vlad's main quarters, with a message warning him that Radu's army was approaching. "

  • Actually, Bram was STOKER

  • @skaiuoquer lmao Oh, I do love these self righteous history buffs. If only they didn't tend to confuse movies/fiction with facts. But then again, if they did, we wouldn't have so much to laugh about.

  • well i think people were stupid

just cause he didint die from a hit doesnt mean he came back from the dead..

  • Hey that's nothing. You should look at the list of charges they cooked up for the Knights Templar and the Jesuits. This 'miracle' was just another piece of 'evidence' for the church to villianize an uncooperative noble.

  • HAHAHAH that NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO was pretty damn weak if you ask me... if you just lost the one you loved.. there would be a lot more emotion in it!

  • Comment removed

  • Wow, necrophilia... classy.

  • "No!..Lydia..Nooooooooooooo"

    *falls in river*

    Poor poor Dracula ;(

  • lmfao thats just messed up, but funny in a cruel sense lol

  • "I never signed these letters, I never saw these papers, THESE ARE FORGORIES!!" LOL

  • You all fail at life. Unless you have a big penis.

  • that was close i thought i was in trouble for a second

  • Big penis make's only problems during sex you cant enjoy fully :) i have normal penis and i can put it almoust all in the vagina , and people with 15inches discks cant XD HaLF of it is out side :)

SO , sex benefits goes to mid penisses :)

  • Interact with someone with a deeper vagina then >.>

  • Like who? Porn star ? :D

  • MAYBE.

  • 6-9 inches is about right. otherwise you got some deformity problem down there.

  • That said, vampirism was also a phenomenon occuring in Hungary (and other parts of the world) with many bizarre recordings of paranormal activities. Bram Stoker also relied on those storeis to create his Dracula character.

  • Slikstone001, the "Dracula we know today" is the fictional character created by Bram Stoker in his very popular 1897 book called Dracula. Stoker based the character IN PART on Vlad III (portrayed here). Basically, Stoker's book was one of those epic good vs evil stories that became extremely popular, so much so that he pretty much invented the archtypal vampire or Dracula image recycled constantly in movies and games. Think of Storker's Dracula character as similar to Tolkein's famous charaters.

  • great movie, so the dracula we know of today is not the same guy its all hollywood hype. See what movies can do to you i always thought dracula was real turns out its all hollywood make believe. Good to know

  • u know i think that hollywood is great at special effects and qualitie of actors but the SUCK at making a real history - they usualy fuck it up bad

  • Vlad Dracula was killed in battle against the Turks near the capital city of Bucharest in 1476, probably in December.[6] It is said that he was decapitated by the Turks and his head sent to Istanbul where the Sultan had it displayed on a stake as proof that the Impaler was finally dead.

  • wHAT ABOUT his Imprisonemnet after 1462?its not included in this movie , is it?

  • vlad Draculea @tepes@

  • whats his name vlab dracula?????

  • can i just say that the one part of this film i know is not accurate is his wifes death. he didn't return to her and she thought she was seeing a ghost. she was told he was dead , and seeing that she would be defeated comitted suicide in order to escape being captured by the enemy.

there are some stories that her body was never found, but i can't say if that is true or not.

so in truth it wasn't as romantic a death as this film shows it to be ^^

also yh, that "noooo" was cheesy XD

  • i would have sent her too

  • She was just crazy and believed the hype! See what RUMORS can do!!

  • i love this movie is in my favorite list

  • he is Gorgeous. i am loving every second of the movie.

  • @SyntheticFilth I agree! So darkly, devastatingly handsome.

  • @nisqually7 ......but he is NOT a good actor haha....in fact the only one who is a good actor (actress) in this movie is the woman who plays his first wife. This portrayal of Vlad Dracula's personal life makes him out to be quite scary indeed. He lies to his wife and tells her he never lied. He is a factor in driving her mad and sends her away....though calling her back again seems to me to show how tormented he is inside.

  • Lydia is the 'classic' portrayal of madness, but to me Vlad is truly a madman. His methods may have been for the 'greater good' of his people, but he was no less a type of tyrant. The greater interest for me in this film is how it lightly exposes the man's psyche. I say lightly because I think it only scratches the surface of what possibly attributed to him being so psychologically disturbed. On the other hand, impalement does not seem so terrible when compared with other medieval punishments.

  • that was the cheesiest NOOOOOOOOOO I've ever seen

  • His was just mostly-dead, a quick visit to miracle Max cures that right up.

  • lol that is so true!!

  • @summers1 i love the pricess bride!

  • @summers1 Good old miracle Max! XD

  • @summers1 Your english is barely comprehendable.

  • I dont believe u go to hell at all. becuz I'm sure the true god is kinder than that.

  • God made free will we are free to chose

  • this is hell; life is, when we die we shall be burn to reborn and thee paradise again.

  • ha ha, when he goes...'These are FORGERIES!!" lol

  • y dose she jump?????????

  • She can hear the vocies of all the people Vlad had killed, hear them beg for his mercy. Also she believed he had risen from the dead, become a "Vampire". It was too much for her, i believe anyway.

  • he most probably was in a coma

  • everything was too much for her. Any ruler should be have a man as loyal as bruno

  • The Catholics belive if you kill yourself you cannot goto heaven

  • I thought all christians did.

  • The acting when she jumped was awful!

    Noooooooooooooooooooooo!

  • lol to much time in prison but yet he seems to have a nice shaved face...weird huh xD

  • her mouth hangs open too much.

  • at the start it seemed that bruno was gonna rape vlad.

  • This scene makes Schizophrenia seem quite appealing. : )

  • Encore une jeanne d'arc qui entend des voix! qu'elle est casse pieds cette anorexique, c'est à vomir!

  • This part will not play. It buffers for hours and wont move an inch. Is it corrupted? Anywhere else I can watch it?

  • NO SEE

  • this is the best comment i have ever read

  • Actually guys, Its ok now. I was able to watch it.

    Thanks.

  • (cont.)and the mirror will show everything.

  • ow i see know. no wonder some people can see ghost in the mirror. and it's not just having a suicide but if your one of the victims included in the crime then your sould will wonder

  • could anybody explain me about the mirror part where he said " mirror can steal"

idk if im correct--> does he mean that the mirror tells the truth?

idk, but it's kind of odd when watching ghost movies, souls appear on the mirror but not in the reality.

  • that the mirror can steal her soul because she is condemned for committing suicide , its all so a Catholic thing i think im not to sure , u should look it up further .

  • THANKS !! I LOVE IT!!

  • karma makes wonders

  • I think at the same time, after finding out what Vlad was doing to ppl, hearing agonizing screams in her head. At some point I think it was too much for her to handel and inside she was suffering, and she wanted to end it. Doesn't matter that she was a believer. The things he was doing and how she was feeling was to much for her.

  • The Orthodox church contempts suicide but The Princess killed herself even though she was a believer? It doesn't make sense...

  • I think she did it to be with him always. If she committed suicide her soul would wander the earth with his. She said "I will walk with you always." She believes his soul is trapped between worlds.

  • I'm not trying to insult you but you're a bit naive...any sane person knows that you can be with someone in the living life ONLY.

Having faith mean being able to distinguish LOVE from DESIRE. our strong desire for a person can misguide us from what is real. I can not really explain this...it's something you should discover on your own. I do believe in the afterlife but as a christian she should know that when you decide to end your own life you don't have the chjance of being reborn. she

  • she wouldn't be in the same "place" as him. he was doomed...she wasn't, she had a choice. she decided to end her own psyche. How hypocritical of her to call herself religious. I hope you understand.

  • All I was doing was offering a potential explanation for her suicide in the context of the movie. She believed he was already dead and his soul was condemned/doomed, and she killed herself to condemn/doom her own soul so she would always be with him and went against her faith in the process. At the end of the movie, after he "dies", you see them join hands and walk away together. Obviously she wasn't sane and in the end she choose him over her faith.

  • I think you are missing the point here...this is not credible to say that she would find him after death and here's the reason...His fate was different than any other human being's-notice the priest's words that vlad's fate was determined from when he was born, that he was a pawn of the devil even if he didn't know it-that means that girl would have to preserve her psyche and try to leave a noble life like everyone else...She would never find him after death because people do NOT defeat death..

  • ...they just "sleep" until they are reborn and that is the reason the Christ defeated death for us! Count Vlad never had the chance to save himself because everything was written for him. He didn't REBORN, he was UNDEAD! The girl could never walk with him because he became a beast that can not feel. when you commit suicide you are doomed to feel the pain that you felt when you took your life wich means that she would only SUFFER and HE wouldn't recognise her. I hope you get the point.

  • Actually there is no point in arguing about this since the whole story is fictional. Count Vlad could have been a person who fought for his country/religion/blood but the dracula stuff is just a story that was made up for political reasons.

  • I apologize about the multiple posts that was accidental.

  • actually she killed herself because she didn't think he could hold back the turks. not for love.

  • yea, but i like how they did it better. it made the story stronger, i think, though it may be a lie. it shows how his ruthlessness destroyed not only his country but also the thing he loved most... which kind of was the point i think

  • back then they didn't know what unconciousness was even doctors back then didn't know what it was. all doctors knew were how to perform surgery and if you were hit on the head in a certain spot and were unconcious other people would think you were seriously dead.

  • she is stupid!!!! spazzoid

  • i can understand with what you're saying but you have to understand how it's like to be in her shoes. she thought her husband came back from teh dead and she also thought of her husband as a murderer and unjust because he would have people impaled onto a stake even for the little things. such as the guy who fell asleep on duty. he could've just fired the guy and hired someone else to take the guy's place.

  • this must be the slowest youtube video ever.....

  • agreed

  • i'm just wondering how come he never grow his beard and mustache since he was sent from the dungeon? the king who sent him there grows old unlike him he never had a disgusting look after condeming from the dungeon

  • because thats how the movie was made ...thaaa

  • men back then would shave their beards the "old school" way with water and a knife

  • shes stupid

  • it's not that she's stupid... you have to understand she felt like her husband was a murderer, which technically speaking he was. he's the prince and so therefore he has every right to do anything he wants. he could've braught justice in a completely different way but back then in order to be concidered strong and powerful to your land you had to be a threat to other princes or kings and feared by many including your own people.

  • Back then a woman who was married to a prince rarely questioned his actions or even cared. It was a totally different time and ere.

  • I felt sorry for her,I mean before I saw this movie.I read Radu Florescu's and Raymond T.M's book In Search of Dracula.

I can't imagine to have been in this relationship with someone who believed and used the punishment methods he used.
