  • no way i live in norcal san francisco and i would give anything to surf sd again. The beaches up here are ALL too cold, too exposed and if you think san diego closes out try dealing with giant constant closeouts with the added bonus of freezing water, there are good places up here but they all take a lot of guts and written will's to brave, santa cruz is good but WAY too many people, believe me looking back on it i used to bitch about sd but now i know its a kick ass spot for surf.

  • @Necatechristianos if your surfing anywhere, your surfing in a sewer, whether its a human one or a natural one. SD's breaks may be overrated, its all a matter of perspective. Every coast has its good, bad, and mediocre days. If youve surfed the miles of closed out beach break, yes SD is WAY overated. If your lucky enough to surf a pier, a jetty, a reef break or blacks on a decent to good day, i bet your perspective will change, and youll see what SD is all about

  • checking out a bunch of your mission beach vids, we are going to spend a day there at end of march cant wait
