  • ur suppose to keep you elbow down without moving

  • @amcbirds Wrong, when you bring your elbow forward it is a longer range of motion without using your back.

  • Actually guys, biceps brachii long head and brachialis and brachioradialis actually attach above the shoulder so slight controlled shoulder flexion as demonstrated in this video ensures a full contraction of the muscles targeted by this specific exercise.

  • His elbows are going to move somewhat....he doesn't need to be a robot during this exercise. Every exercise video I watch on youtube has these so called "experts" analyzing and insulting the persons form, technique, whatever.

  • Not correctly. You do not need to swing. The probably does nothing at all. Or you do not need to go from bottom and swing to the top its best if 90 degrees.

  • @SergeantCha0s You have to swing your arms to get full contraction of the biceps. That's the proper form.

  • thats right he is doing the exercise wrong bec first he is moving his elbow to much forward .. seconde he is lifting the dumbell to much high .... he must do it just 90 degrees bad form

    Shouldn't you stop at 90 degrees or at your chest level?

  • Hammer curls suck. Real strict curls are much better with perfect form and control for overall bicep power.
