thanks Machiawell, This is one of my personal favourite peices because I wrote it about the Winter of our lives - inspired by my Grandmothers life and the sadness of her demise from cancer........ she lived with us from when I was 8 years old and raised me as my Mother was very young....... she died three days before it was finished. It is one of the few pieces that I orchestrated every note (a slow and painstaking process for me as I do it by hand - as in pencil and paper!)...........
